This company will give you the runaround every time you call them.
I was told 2-3 business days for a full refund of my deposit.
Then 2 weeks.
Then 4 weeks.
Then UP TO 30 days.
Now it's been 39 days and what's the waiting time? 4-6 weeks.
I predict next time I call it will be "Up to 52 weeks on average".
If I do not receive my full refund by the supposed 4-6 weeks since filing my cancellation, that will be last straw and they will have a permanent, formal complaint to the Revdex.com and any other organizations interested in leads of SCAMS and CONS.
This is unacceptable.

Our call records show a one time call to our company on 07/07/15. We advised the customer we would gladly cancel the service however, the customer would need to fill out a cancellation form and send it back to us for a full refund. We have not received that...

yet. As a courtesy we have refunded the customer back to the card that he used with us despite not receiving the REQUIRED paperwork, and he should see it any day now just to satisfy the complaint. Our company advises all customers of the 7-10 business day refund period once the required paperwork is received. We have not been given enough time by this customer to even do our job. We have done this customer no wrong. Please remove this complaint as it is not warranted. Attached is proof that this customer has been refunded.

When I learned they are not actually underwriters of Volkswagen regarding extended warranty I called their customer cr. On hold more than 45 minutes. No one ever picked up.

This email is in response to the above mentioned customer.  Attached are documents proving that we have sent this customer a check for said amount and that it was delivered via certified mail by USPS. The addresses are a match.

I have tried unsuccessfully to contact Car Treaty during my 30 day trial. I cannot get thru and the website is out of service. I had to cancel through my credit card company. I still cannot get a return email or call from them.

We proceeded to do so and let the customer know the time frame in which they would receive the refund....

We have never had any problems canceling and refunding a customers money. There is nothing suspicious about our company and we are upfront about all of our policies. We then get another call from the customer on 05/12/2015 saying that she has disputed the charge already with their bank and would be getting their money back that way.Regards,

I WAS NOT TOLD I WOULD BE GIVEN A REFUND THAT DAY, I WAS TOLD I WOULD RECEIVE A CALL BACK TO DISCUSS IT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY - THEY TALKED TO MY 88 YR OLD FATHER AND CONVINCED HIM TO GIVE THEM HIS CREDIT CARD AND THEY CHARGED HIM $2,995 ! - I CALLED THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND REPORTED FRAUD AND THEY CANCELED HIS CARD - they pray upon the elerly

These people are just a bunch of scammers. They did the hard sale on my Mom for a extended warranty on her car in less than a month after she bought it. We have been trying to get a refund for her now canceled policy with nothing but false promises. First call they said we would get a check in 5 business days, second call after that said we would get it in 7 - 10 business days, third call said we would get it in 4 - 6 weeks. My poor elderly Mom needs the money they scammed her out of and I suspect she will never get it.

wishes to cancel the policy. [redacted] is correct in most of his statement. He was contacted on 04/03/2015. He was given options on a policy such as cost and coverage. He did elect a down payment of $395 to activate the policy. However in listening to our recordings (all calls are recorded for our safety and the customers) he was given our toll free number to give us a call at anytime. So I am not sure why the customer would dial a "713" number. Also the customer states that he did not receive anything until 05/07/2015 our records indicate that the policy was sent out via email and mail on the same day. We did not receive our first call from him until 05/07/2015, at which point the customer was beyond the 30 return period and thus would not be granted a refund. We have never had an issue giving anyone their money back and we never will. We pride ourselves on our customer service and making sure that everyone is treated with respect and we are more than courteous to everyone. Also we are very upfront about everything we do. When the customer called us we let him know that while he was outside of the 30 day return period (which was discussed with him during the initial call) we would still be willing to give him a full refund. We refunded the card immediately that day.  We processed the refund card ending in [redacted]. Unfortunately we recevied a response from our merchant saying that the transaction could not be processed due to an invalid card. We had no knowledge that the customer had cancelled his card. We have attached records to show that there were attempts to resolve this matter before it got to this point.

they evidently are servicing clients who signed contracts with them.  I signed a contract and followed proceedures to stop the relationship as set out by their contract so they should honor my contract as they are honoring the others.
