Empire Today did a top notch job. Everything went smoothly with no issues whatsoever. Both Sales and Installation were able to give opinions on how we wanted things done and the whole experience could not have been better. 10+!

I'm very upset with this company, I paid to have carpet installed in my home and received a confirmation from this company stating that the carpet would be installed Saturday December 19th, 2015. I received a call from them that Saturday morning that they wouldn't be able to install my carpet as they had planned.
I was told they would come Tuesday December 22nd, I had to take off from work which was a huge inconvenience for me causing me to lose money. They came Tuesday but did not complete the job, and I had to take off again Wednesday the 23rd. This is very unprofessional and inconsiderate to say the least.
If you take a customers money, then the service should be provided as agreed upon. My house is a total wreck , having to box up things and move things around, this has been very emotionally & physically disturbing for myself and my family. I wanted to have my house looking nice & neat for Christmas and due to the unprofessional behavior of this company that isn't going to happen!

Empire Today (flooring) has more than ripped us off. They quoted us for a weak spot in the floor and we paid in advance for that along with our entire order of vinyl. They cancelled my original appointment (Sept 26) because they didn't have enough of the vinyl I ordered. We rescheduled for Oct 5. When they got here, they were still short over 200 Sq ft of flooring, so a 1 day job turned into a 2 day job. They said they would be back the next day but never showed up. We called and they said we had to hire a contractor THAT DAY (Oct 6) before they would come back out on Oct 7. We confirmed we would have it done and we recieved a conformation email for a new appointment on Oct 7. The weak spot was fixed by a contractor and we assumed they would come out Oct 7 since we got an email conformation, but nobody showed up. We called back asking where they were and they said they couldn't get anyone out here until Oct 8. I am currently sitting in a half finished home with exposed subfloor and 2 toddlers running around trying to prevent any injury Because they keep putting us off even though we have already paid in full. Even though I have already paid, I do not have My flooring (the product), the service is incomplete, and I have no idea when anyone will be out here to do it. Not only that, but I won't be getting my money back for the repair of the weak spot in the floor that they told me they would fix if I paid in advance. Every time I call I am transfered multiple times, nobody seems to have notes regarding my account, and they aren't very cooperative. Once I was promised a call would be returned and it never was. I would NOT suggest using this company for any of your flooring needs under any circumstances.

Empire was fantastic! The entire process from start to finish was above my expectations and the installers did a beautiful job! After a horrible experience and cancelled orders with both [redacted] and [redacted] I was so happy that I went with Empire to finally complete the job!

It gives me great pleasure to write a review on my recent experience with Empire Today. The representative was a very knowledgeable gentleman who convinced us that Empire was the best company to deal with. He showed us
all the different types of flooring available, and recommended the ones that
would be best for our floors. Within a few days, the installers came and took
up the old flooring,and the same day they laid a beautiful carpet . The padding and the carpet make it feel like walking on air...it is so deep and soft.
The same day, the installers of the special wood vinyl flooring in 2 rooms,
took up the old carpet, and prepped the rooms. The next day they finished

I've had Empire Today do my downstairs carpeting (May 2014), upstairs carpeting (October 2014), and had to re-do a bedroom and hall last month (Oct 2015) because of a pet. I wouldn't hesitate to have them back again and would recommend them to friends.

Our experience with Empire was a nightmare. Our salesman told us when they start they don't leave until job is complete . On day one 1 contractor showed to start work. He didn't even know type of work he was doing, removing carpet and kitchen tile. I contacted the sales rep to clarify this. Day two when they showed up a sixteen year old showed up with no experience, he made multiple mistakes with his work . On day three at eight pm that evening the contractor told us he would not be back until Saturday he was starting a new job. He had all counter round to install and floor strips. They did damage to our new kitchen cabinets and kitchen pantry door removing kitchen tile . I did a walk through found several mistakes that had to be corrected. The contractor was very agitated with our request. I have contacted customer service three times last week no response. I have two reference numbers regards to the damage, first none is to report it, second one was escalated to a manager .No one has contacted us.

This was the most awesome experience I have ever had with any business I can recall. They literally saved us from a very bad experience with another company I would rather not name, although we never even had to mention our situation to Empire. They did everything they said they would, or more, on time, or earlier, in a manner that was personal, professional, and painless. Great product, great installation, competitively priced, and great warranty. We cannot think of anything they could have done better!

Disappointing repair follow up. We had 4 large bedrooms and a hallway installed. The installers did a HORRIBLE job at the top of our stairs. We have so far scheduled 8 repair dates, but either no one has shown up or they called to cancel hours after the appointment time. Empire Representatives Jesse and Diana promised a resolution, but we are still waiting, 8 months!!!. Empire is great at showing up for the consultation and collecting payment, but standing behind their hired installers is by far a management joke!!

I called Empire Today to install my flooring because they promised next day service. I bought a new house and wanted the flooring done before I moved my belongings and pets. Two and a half months and 6 actual appointments later, it is still not completed. I was told that the business hours were 8-6. I found out on my first installation day that they could show up between these times. I had to call after Noon to find out when they might show up. They showed up after 1:00, and didn't finish until after 10:45 p.m. The work I was promised was not completed that day. They were supposed to replace the trim in the basement. The crew told me that they do not do that. They shoved the carpet under the existing trim leaving gaps and frayed edges exposed. They also mangled the transition strip into the next room. The crew that was to install the tile called and showed up on time only to tell me that they couldn't complete the work but couldn't tell me why. I was promised that the vinyl installers would be there first thing in the morning and be done by 4. only one guy showed up after 10. He was wearing short shorts with no underwear, actually exposing himself (which happened on his 3rd visit as well.). I had to make him leave so that I could make my appointment I had previously scheduled. He promised to return a10 the next morning. I called him several times. He was found in my front yard on his phone around 1. He promised to be done in 3 hours. 7 1/2 hours later he said he was done. He had not put vinyl on the step and put white trim in where it was supposed to be brown. Upon his 3rd visit.... He didn't have the bullnose required for the edge of the step and blunt cut the trim. He told me that I could just paint it. In the meantime, I had 3 bedrooms of carpeting with no transition strips into the hallway, a hole in the carpet in the laundry room and the unfinished basement. I have talked to 3 different "management" people who have sent different crews out to "fix" these issues. I now have a fully furnished basement which needs to be unloaded to have the damaged carpet replaced.
My step has huge gaps on the side, unfinished quarter round in the hall, and the last crew drew lines on the floor with a permanent marker to show where the quarter round is wrong. And they showed up with the wrong quarter round again. They and the previous guy forgot the transition strips into the kitchen to replace the strips that are silver with gold nails. I have spent 7 full days waiting on crews to do work, fix work or just not show up at all. I have been asked to give them several more chances to fix this and make it right. This has been said the last 3 times. I just don't know how many chances they should get to fix things that a flooring company should be capable of doing the first time.

I would recommend Empire Flooring to anyone. Saw salesman on Friday and floor was installed on Tuesday. Totally amazing!!! Men were great and everything went off without a hitch. Great company and great products!

Empire installed vinyl flooring in my kitchen and stairwell. They worked for 10 hours on a Saturday. They were neet and professional.

Real bad experience. Yesterday I had an appointment with a sales person tony. We arranged for a next day appointment for a 4-6, no one was available at my house due to everyone working. I paid my deposit and we agreed on the appointment. I get a call from a rep the next morning stating to confirm my appointment was for 12. I told her that information was incorrect. She claimed to call the technician to advise him to come between 4-6. I then get a call from the technician at 12, he states that my appointment is for 12 and that he is available. I told him its impossible cause I am at work and that the agreement is for 4-6. He said that his other appointments had cancel and he is available now. He stated that if I cant be available at 12 that the appointment has to be cancelled or rescheduled. I proceeded to call the company. They were no help, all they can say is that they can offer me 50 dollars off the price and to reschedule for a different date. How inconsiderate is this company? How can u treat customers like this. I guess customers are not that important. Why is it my issue that the technicians other appointments cancelled and I have to reschedule my appointment. I guess my account is not that important to this company. Never again I will ever consider giving this company business.
