Very satisfied with all aspects of Empire's planning and installation and product!
I have been trying for over a year to get them to resolve my dissatisfaction with the poor quality of installation of my carpet and two months before January of 2016 my carpet not being a year old yet trying to get resolution to the poor wear to carpet that was to be top of the line with a 20 year warranty. It took months to have someone from the company to schedule a inspection, then was told I must hire a Professional Carpet co. to clean before they would come back to inspect and take carpet samples even though the visible flaw in my living room and a seam you can see in the middle of the living room floor along with being able to see every seam in the carpet and visible wear in traffic areas. A inspector did come out and take pictures an carpet samples, now I am being told there has to be another inspection. I spent good money for new quality carpet and all I have gotten from Empire is the run around. When I see the commercial of satisfied customers, I wonder how much did they pay them to say that.

Empire Today far exceeded my expectations. The sales agent was honest, direct and helpful. The price was great. The installers were excellent: on-time, friendly, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. And the carpet looks and feels great!
We were very pleased with Empire's handling of our inquiry. Our salesman, Brian [redacted] was very knowledgeable, personable and accommodating, not making us feel like he was rushed in any way. We were pleased with the finished product. My only concerns were that our installation date was postponed a week with only one day's notice, and the sales contract did not delineate prices line by line, but only gave a final total. I could only "trust" what I was being told.
They were great the thing they measure with is very cool! I want one. He was very knowledgeable about the carpet. The 2 guys who installed the carpet were really nice. It so happend they came when my kids were getting out of school so I had 4 children there the youngest is 18 months. He kept wanting to walk in there while they were working and they didn't get upset at all. I respect people who understand and have patience for kids. So I give Empire a 5 star they are amazing!!!??????????
I had carpet installation done at home in my two bedrooms. My neighbors had theirs done as well and was overseeing installation given the fact I had to work. My neighbors are very trustworthy. When I returned home that evening my living room television was damage with a scratch through it. When you turn it on middle of screen was a blur. Look like someone had it and that's what caused the scratch on screen. I contacted customer service right away and was told I'll receive a call in 3-5 business days. I received a call the following week and was told to email pictures of damage. I did so at that moment. Days go by I received a call from a "manager" stating they were not going to pay for television or damages. Per their installers they helped me move the television and I signed paperwork stating nothing was damage. I explained to "manager" that I could not have signed papers I was working that day, and there were no televisions in my bedrooms that needed to be moved. My living room television was damaged and given the fact I was told by representative that all televisions needed to be moved or they will charge a $60 fee to move them. I have talked to several "managers", call numerous of times for the number to corporate and been told there's no corporate number your going to get our office, no one is available to take your call you'll receive a call back later. I never received a call back until I told them I was taking further action. One manager called stating they'll give me a $150 credit. Well NO, I paid out more than that for my television and have processed further action.
empire is the worst company ever. they didn't finish the work they were doing for me. they are very rude they keep changing appts. because they have more important customers to see. after you cancel your plans for a sunday they call and say they don't want to come because they are tired. when you tell them to come any way you have to put up with there bad attitude all day. after they tore my big round tub apart they decided they don't want to tile it now it looks like total [redacted]. they refused to do my hall way and coat closet after I had some one come in and fix the sub floor. didn't put my bed room doors back on. now I have to pay to have some one to come in and do the rest of the work that I already paid empire to do. when you call the office they wont answer the phone then refuse to return your call. if you do get to talk to the sales rep they are so rude you want to scream. this was one of my worst nightmares I so wish I would of called a different company. don't ever let these people do any work for you
I would like to thank Empire flooring for helping me with my flooring needs. I was in the middle of a refinance and needed one room carpeted right away. My sales representative schedule a consultation at my house within 24 hours. He was then able to get a team out to my house the very next morning!! The team showed up and did a fantastic job on the install. I have a trap door in my closet leading to a crawl space. I explained I needed to be able to have access to the crawl space below. He customized the carpet so I can lift the door on the floor without pulling back all the carpeting. He just cut a hole out to fit the door and secured it so you cant even see it. I am so impressed with everyone at Empire who was involved in the process I will never call anyone else.
I had carpeting removed and new carpet installed in my home. The sales rep arrived on time for the appointment, he explained the differences in the carpet samples and was very professional and respectful when walking through my home to take measurements. He explained the entire process of what would happen next and answered all of our questions. He made himself available to us after initial contact and we did have some questions and he responded in a timely manner. The installation team was great. They arrived a bit later than we were told, but once they arrived, they presented me with the paperwork and made sure I checked the product before it was installed. They worked diligently and were very pleasant. They did a great job of installation, cleanup and removal.
I am surprised by the overall A- rating. We utilized empire carpets to install our carpets. What was to be a one day experience stretched into two days. Moreover, in the middle of the second day, the installers left our carpet in the middle of the street in our cul de sac while they broke for lunch. Repeated calls to the office did not result in their return until approximately 45 minutes later. The installation took longer than the time quoted and we were exhausted as we both had to go to work the next day. The quality of the carpet was questionable. However, because we were not allowed to keep a swatch of the agreed upon carpet prior to installation, we could not compare it to what we had agreed to purchase. Given the volume of complaints, can Revdex.com really give Empire an A- in good conscience?
My entire experience with Empire was uneventful. All the associates were respectful and kind. I will have my remaining work completed by empire. Thank You Empire for a respectful, smooth process
From the initial appointment we made, to the courteous and knowledgeable representative who visited us and helped with our decisions, to the two installers who were thoughtful, professional, careful with our furniture, and very courteous, we are extremely pleased with the personal service, and product quality of Empire Today.
Entire process from start to finish was excellent. Everything was done as advertised and the final product looks great! Couldn't be happier.
The sales lady was nice, patient and not pushy. The installers were super nice and very quick but they did not compromise the quality of their work and did a wonderful job.
Some people make fun of Empire, but we have consistently had good quality carpeting installed in a professional manner, at a reasonable price. If you are in the North suburbs, ask for David [redacted]. We have worked with him 3 times now at different houses - he is knowledgable and a real pleasure to deal with.
Very enjoyable experience with these guys. The salesman was very knowledgeable and very nice. He explained everything well, and left no surprises.
The installation was spot on. Great work by the contractors, and done in record time, as well. I had the luxury of being able to allow them to stay later in the evening and they were done in 1/2 the estimated time. WITH a quality install of the product.
Easy to make appointment...excellent sales rep, knowledgeable about products and able to help us decide best products for our home. Installers did a fantastic job! They were prompt, had sufficient materials and were friendly and respectful. Our home looks great!
My husband and I were very pleased with our experience with Empire Today. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and friendly and the installers were also very knowledgeable, friendly and took the time to listen to my husband if we had questions. I will recommend them to my friends and family.
I am very satisfied with the bedroom and stairway carpeting that I ordered from Empire. Installation was done by extremely hard-working men who were courteous and skilled. Not sure about the 60% off ad - off of what? I think the price was comparable to what other companies would charge for the amount of carpeting required. All in all, I would use Empire again for further flooring or carpeting needs.
