details. The tents and gazebos do carry a 30 day return period through our stores, and anything outside of that time frame is typically addressed via the original vendor or manufacturer. In the event that it is believed the product is defective from the manufacturer, we will be happy to assist in reviewing this further. If that is the case, please advise the specific problem with the item. Wind/weather related damage is not covered via the warranty.

Good morning, Thank you for sending in this information. We apologize for any frustration this customer may have experienced. Most products in our furniture departments, such as this recliner, are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, for a specified time frame, following our 30 day return period....
To initiate a warranty claim, and receive assistance on this kind of matter, the customer must contact the local store, and make arrangements for the product/products to be returned to a store for inspection. Upon confirmation that the defect or problem with the merchandise is found to be a covered issue, the store will assist with either an exchange, a refund, or a parts replacement request, at no additional cost to the consumer. This is the only current method to initiate a warranty claim on a qualifying product, at this time. We would be happy to ensure that management in a local store, of the customer's choice, is notified regarding this customer's opinion that her merchandise is defective. Unfortunately, the warranties do not cover transportation costs to and/or from the stores. Please advise if we should work to get the customer and the store management in contact with each other, to begin talks about possibly opening a warranty claim on the product in question.Thank you again, and have a nice day. This is a financing agreement between the customer and Progressive, the customer applied for the financing and agreed to the terms and conditions of this program by signing off...

We will gladly contact the District Manager regarding the Customer Service portion of the complaint but we have no bearing on the finance agreement between the customer and Progressive. The customer will need to contact [redacted] Directly to discuss his account and may do so by calling them at ###-###-####. Once the contract was finalized and customer authorized the first payment the contract went into effect. Big Lots in effect sold the furniture to [redacted] Financial and they are now the owners of the property as the paid Big Lots in full for the items and the customers payments go to [redacted] not to Big Lots.

The store that this was purchased was big lots in Arcade NY. I would like some sort of reimbursement or replacement. This was not typical damage or a leg breaking- it is the material peeling off

Yes, I have received 2 calls from the business and both times I returned the calls. The phone rings and I press option 3 that says I will speak with an associate. And each time I held on for 10-15 minutes and all I get is the music playing. Neither time did I have the opportunity to speak with anyone. As a matter of fact I tried calling right before typing this response and the same thing happened. I would like to have this matter resolved ASAP.

for one year on furniture and upholstery. As it would appear you are outside of that time frame, we will inquire with the DTL regarding any additional recourse or other available options that might be available.

The link on our website that takes you to the option of applying for financing does contain full disclosure regarding the Lease to Purchase program by Progressive Financial including an FAQ page that explains the program in clear and understandable language. You should contact Progressive at ###-###-#### to discuss your concerns regarding the terms of your financial agreement with them.
