Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me Please note that the reason I didn't agree to pay the fee is due to the fact that the service technician stated that if I was under contract, I should never have to pay any service fees or equipment costs The battery still needs replacing and should be free of charge with NO contract extension After reviewing Safe Home Security's file with the Revdex.com, it appears their practice of charging customers even while under contract is commonplace.SHS should ensure our monthly bill does not go up or I will file another complaint Sincerely, [redacted] ***

The customer's first attempt at cancellation was in May of 2015, at which point the account had already been renewed for monthsIn fact, it seems that the only time the customer contacted the company from - was because they had some questions about how the system workedIt states in the customer's agreement that the customer must give the company at least days written notice in order for the account to expire on its expiration dateThe month renewal is validThat being said, I, [redacted] (Co-Director of the Customer Care Dept.) would like to explore any and all options to help make the customer a satisfied customer againThis includes the possibility for free parts, rate reductions, and months of free serviceI can be reached at [redacted] ext***

The client sent in a cancellation letter in January Current yearly term expires in August

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I would like to correct the infromation sent by the Company the install was started on 8/8/and completed on 8/10/We started Experiencing problems on Wednesday 8/12/and I contacted Safe Home Security after several contact numbers was given to meI spoke to Craig from the information that was given to me from him he is the Assistant Vice President and assistance Manger at that time I advise him of the problems I had and he assured me he would contact the person in charge to have this system canceled and removed He also indicated he did not show a sign contactI advise him a sign contract was not left at the time of installI am emailing the attachments emails from Crain being 8/19/to present also I am email you the cancelation letter sent to Craig Sincerely, [redacted]

On 9/21/the customer had spoken with a Safe Home RepresentativeThey scheduled service and agreed to a $charge to replace the outdated equipmentOn 9/24/the technician called in and spoke to a Safe Home Representative in the Dispatch DepartmentThe Tech was expressing the customer did not want to pay for the $equipment fee Upon further review, it appears the Dispatch Representative told the tech to perform the work for no charge We have issued a credit on the account for the $ Mike T [redacted] Safe Home Security Sebethe DrCromwell, CT###-###-#### [redacted]
