Leased a piece of equipment
Company forced placed insurance without written prior noticed of forced placed insurance
We have insurance on equipment but the company keeps giving run around on what they needEach time my agent sends what they ask and they change it each time
I looked up laws and they are required to put in writing and mail to address to notify days prior to any forced placed insurance
They are charging an absurb amount
I'm looking for reimbursement of the forced placed insurance of
I'm also looking at contacting local attonery to see how many laws they are in violation of

Balboa Capital is abiding by the terms of the Agreement that were signed and agreed to by both parties

We are reaching out to the customer to gather more information and attempt to resolve the complaint

I purchased different kinds of equipment using their finance , and at the time of the offering they misrepresented the terms of the contract, in a way that now after three years of the lease Im ending up paying twice the amount this equipments are worth
I have tried to contact customer service and even been at their offices which are always closed by the way , and so far no success what so ever

We have spoken with the customer and reached a satisfactory resolution for both parties

Without prior notice they started ramping up charges and then making unauthorized ACH debits from our bank accountThey would not allow you to make payments online for the real amount but only for the inflated fraudulent amount so that you have no choice but to pay the entire amount they want you toSo I sent them paper checks for the real amount I am supposed to pay without those ridiculous charges for not having automatic payment plan without noticeI complained to them several times but they couldn't care lessThis was never on our agreement and I was making timely payments through their website directly from our bank account but wanted to protect myself against stupid charges they always seem to add so I never signed up for the automatic payments planThen they just steal your money from your bank accountI did notify my bank to stop all their transactions going forward

If you are looking for a lending company that does not care about their clients, customer service that does not return your calls, sales manager that does not act interested when he calls after numerous attempts, service manager that cares about servicing their loan only, not the needs of the client, a title department that follows in the same manner as rest of the company, if this is the type of relationship you desire with your lender then Balboa is the company for you! If you like emailing constantly with no reply, calling and waiting on hold to eventually leave a message with no call back, if you like explaining to someone that you have been waiting for weeks to get your equipment titles in the mail after weeks of calling so you can go to work and pay your bills and feed you family and all the people you finally reach could care less then I highly recommend BalboaIf you like begging for someone to contact you for weeks from ownership or management to discuss the situation, after many requests for management contact and they NEVER call you back then contact Balboa CapitolI have never been ignored like Balboa did to me, I was also called dishonest when a package never arrivedIf you need financing and don't care about communication or have lots of time to wasteCall them!!!

I called Balboa Capital on 11--in the morning concerning a lease buyout I was originally told that when I had signed this lease on May 20, that the buyout was $at the end of the term Currently I am at the end of the term and I have been told that I am required to pay additional payments of $plus tax or a buyout in which that I am unable to get a return phone call of this amount I have called other times on 12-6-at 12:p.m., 12-12-at 10:a.m., 12-13- at 10:a.m all within CST of which I have left messages Additionally I have contacted my bank to stop payment on any future automatic payments that come from Balboa Capital

After reading all over the internet I see I am not alone! They have class action lawsuits filed and hundreds of complaints of being ripped off! I pray for the ones who had to deal with these so called humansi have another name for thm

This company spams my phone with robo calls several times a day filling up my voicemail Any company using such aggressive, invasive practices is one to avoid!

We where contacted by *** *** several times over the phone back in April H e had offered a lease agreement on a piece of equipment that cost $29,that we would own at a one dollar buyout at the end of the month leaseWe mentioned that we have other leases with *** that equal the same way and his offer was setup this way as wellHe told us that there will be payments of and that will buyout the machine for a dollarWhen I called in at the end my lease to make the $buyout they sent me a buyout of $44,

complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Although signed by both parties,  sale of the contract was very misleading.  I am not a lawyer and did not fully understand the terms.  If so, I would not have been so surprised when contacting Balboa for a buy-out amount.  While speaking to Mr. [redacted], he did admit that this conversation never came up.  We were simply told that if we leased the equipment, we would get a tax break.  Never knew that we would have to buy the equipment again at the end of term.  Would have never agreed to that.  We are a very small business and trying our best to do business honestly and forthright as possible.  Again, had we known, would have  never signed paperwork.

This a company of sharks with a huge turnaround in employees because it gets to the point to where they can't look in the mirror. The employees that stick around are the ones who enjoy lying. I will fully admit it was my fault for putting my faith and trust in my sales rep and not fully reading and understanding the lease but I made the biggest mistake of my life with this company and its going to cost me thousands of dollars. My sales rep drove home the fact that there are people out there that will lie,cheat and scam anyone they can just to make a buck. I asked several questions before signing and every answer I received was a straight forward lie. All in all, it's probably going to be a $10,000 learning lesson for myself that I will never forget.

Nothing was resolved. I am now at the end of another lease. I sent Balboa two emails asking for the year end price for the equipment that I have been leasing from them the past couple of years so that I can know if I want to return it or if it will be worth keeping it. They refuse to give me even an estimate. All they say is to send a certified letter stating what I want to do. Is.this legal. I have to send it in to them at least 180 days before end of lease but no more than 270. If they get it any later then,my contract automatically renews for another year. Do I not have any right to know what I will be facing at the end of my lease so that I can know if I can afford it? I have already paid for the equipment twice since leasing the equipment back in 2013. I didn't realize I was leasing unail the end of first lease when I contacted them for the bill of sales for the equipment and they gave me some astronomical buyout amount. That was when I contacted you guys. Since nothing was accomplished I started paying the lease again. Now I'm coming to the end and would like to do everything according to the lease but now they refuse to give me a buyout price. On April 4,2016 I first contacted them. They stated that they would email me the amount in 3 business days. I never received it so I started emailing them. Still nothing. What else can I do?Desired Outcome: Would like to know buyout price before I have to enter into another year of leasing.
