The bad reviews are correct! They are nothing but a sham! And they argue! I applied for a Commercial truck loanMind you, I have been approved by about others and trying to find the best fit for my company
I applied, then I got a call backThey claimed to know tow truck financingBut yet, they have never heard of jerr-Dan or Chevron? Any way, after a bunch of questions, they are the only ones to charge an upfront feeNO WAY! Their excuse was that if I paid their fee upfront, I would likely be more committed to go with themRED FLAG! Then, after about 6+ banks approved me, they come back and say that I'm only approved for a certain amountThey want your purchase to be NO MORE than 20% of your total average bank account balance over three monthsSO for my $100,purchase, I'd need to show no less than $500,in balances over three monthsAre they stupid? I'd just write out a check for the purchase if that were the case!
With my deposits being 10X more then the monthly payment, they still said NO! I laugh as I called the next company I liked better anyway and gave the green light and they funded my purchase within hours of Balboa saying NOSo the jokes on Balboa and their loss
The best part, is the guy Eric, stated that there wasn't a bank in the world that would fund me and their all lyingNice try, I'm not stupid and after reading the reviews here, I'm so happy I didn't go with them!

Balboa Capital debited from my checking account almost $3,as part of a lease they had me sign for after they approved meThen they came back and said they couldn't do the lease because of a conflict with the sellerBalboa Capital has kept my money since August 29, and has yet to refund it but just keep pro missing to and after they had me sign a form saying they could keep $of it, they later came back and said they are only going to refund $2,and promise each day I will have it It's going on another three weeks now and still no refund I either call or send an email each day and still nothing
I feel it is a scamThey should have never debited my account in the first place until the contract was fully executed
I want everyone to be aware of their practice and to refuse to give them bank information

We disputed late payments totaling $4600+ in 20% late fees in and the rep at the time agreed to wave itNow their General Counsel wrote us a letter demanding payment?!
The checks in both instances were lost in the mail and we sent them replacement checks

They are charging us more than what is in the agreement for a lease we have with them
The contract specifies total payments, but they took a full payment and called it a prorated payment retroactively and are saying prorated payments do not apply towards the total payments That prorated payment would bring us to the total payments
We paid that 'prorated' payment in full
They sold the lease to another company who collected of the total payments, Balboa took the first two payments
It is incorrect and unfair that they retroactively claimed that one of our two payments to Balboa was a prorated payment

Balboa capital didn't refund my complete depositThey took $from my deposit for the UCC searchUCC search is done by a company for their own protectionI did not agree to pay any fee for any such serviceFinally, I did not take any service from Balboa Capita and should not be charged any such feeAlso, money was removed from my bank without the completion of the entire processI was consistently told everyday that they would deposit $50,in the bank accountHowever, they never didFrustrated, I decided not to go with themSince, I did not receive any payment from them, they should refund all my money back.Regards,

Applied for a equipment lease/loan Provided all paperwork, *** *** was POC He never e-mailed or called back after several attempts by me to contact him/ Once I provided my ssn# never heard back until after contacting some-one else in the company to find out its a no My business and I have good credit and makes more than enough to pay back on this loan My concern is after providing my personal information and ssn# I never got called back, my concern is how my personal information is be handledIt seems this company could be a scam I want some-one held accountable for this guy actions
Is this company actually who they say they are, not sure if they even offer what they say

We have had loans with themThey were good for the first timeThen starting the 2nd loan they put in some terms like we have to terminate the leases in writing no earlier than days but no later than days from the lease expiration dayDespite the fact that the equipment only has months warranty, they put in the lease that gives them the right to determine the value of the equipment at the end of the leaseNo bargain purchase option was offered in the leasesAlso, they charge you months of security deposits upfront which you will never get back from themDO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM OR YOU ARE INVITING TROUBLES!!!

We have contacted the customer and reached a satisfactory resolution for both parties

Upon that email I responded that I would look forward to working with themThis past week I have received calls demanding money, and received threats of legal action. They in no way have attempted to discuss the matter. Based on the email response thru Revdex.com I was prepared to compromise and resolve the issue and pay them appropriately. My main request of a path to finalize my dealings with them and clearly offer a settlement amount,has not once been discussed. They continue to attempt to charge me beyond the contract amounts that I have already paidThe matter has not been resolved nor they made any attempt at working toward some type of mutual resolution
Please do not post this matter as resolved, and any help you may provide would be greatly appreciated

They lied and scammed usThey financed $6,for us to buy a used Forklift for months with a $payoff
That is what they told usAfter paying $14,there was no $payoff and the contract lease was automatically renewed for an additional $14, What a rip offA big late fee when I paid late along with everyday calls, everyday emails, letters in the mail and certified mailed lettersNothing to ask if we were going to renew the scam contract
They told me to sign sign, sign and sign the unreadable fine line contractThat everything that they told me was in the contractJust when you buy a car
I called there Attorney, she does not take nor return calls I send them certified lettersNo reply
They need to be stoppedLook them up on the internetThere is a lot of people and companies hurt by them

I contacted Balboa Capital to lease a LED signThey asked for my personal and business information, they gave me their interest rate and told me that they can lease the sign to meThey sent me an application and said that I needed to pay the first and last payment upfront plus other "fees", I said okLater Mr*** *** sent me an e-mail telling me to hurry sending the check since they are ready to send the purchase order to the vendorI sent the check, after they cash it, *** told me that there was a "problem" with the vendor, I asked what's the problem, he said that the company didn't have a long commercial history and they can not do the lease for me(at this point the had my money already)*** suggested for me to buy the sign and they would "cut" a check for meI said: what if the deal doesn't happen again and I damage my cash flow? I prefer to have my money back, he said that it wasn't possible because in the contract says that if the lease is cancelled th
