Review: I purchased 2 sweaters online on October 18 for 34.50 each from Ashley Stewart. I attempted to return them to the Eastgate store in [redacted] and was told they were a web only purchase. After checking online and verifying they were not web only, the store clerk then informed me that since they were not in the store, I had to return them online. I returned them on November 6 via USPS. My tracking information shows the sweaters were received on November 12 by the Ashley Stewart facility in New Jersey I have sent several messages via their secure message center and have not received any information regarding my refund. I have called customer service weekly and after the automated info, the line is disconnected. It has been almost 3 months now. Any assistancewill be aappreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a refund for my purchase and a gift card for all the inconvenience for the past 3 months.

Customer was refunded in full for both sweaters on 11/24/2014. Sweaters were purchased at B1G1 75% off. On 2/18/2015 we contacted customer and left voicemail after receiving the Revdex.com complaint to let her know that she was in fact refunded.

She stated that she would have a Supervisor call me back. On 12/9/13 I called Ashley stewart again and I spoke to [redacted] (same phone#) and she explained that according to her notes That my Order went to another customer In Maryland in error. She stated that she could not authorize a refund and that the Supervisor [redacted] is the Person That could, but she was gone for the day and she would email her to contact me. Refunded funds in the amount of $64.27 to the account
Review: I live in New Jersey, a state in which does not charge sales tax on clothing. I recently purchased pants online for my mother from Ashley Stewart, which is also located in New Jersey. However, I was charged sales tax on my order in the amount of $0.63. I called the company and was told that if I were in the store I would have to pay the same fee. After I explained that that would not be the case, I was then told that the fee was for the tax of each item for the $8.95 shipping and that it was a "federal law". To my understanding If you purchase nontaxable items in some states, the shipping and handling charge is equally nontaxable. Is that not the case for New Jersey? And even if said tax is applicable, they were not able to provide me with a formula of how these fees are calculated-they seem to be arbitrary- $0.25 here...$0.32 there...and then another $0.06. Regardless of the amount that my seem trivial to others, if this is improper taxation, I would like to address it.
I cannot accept being told two different things by a company when their "logic" is challenged. I'm concerned because if this is something that they do every day to every customer, they are making a profit illegally.Desired Settlement: Honestly, I would just like our $0.63 refunded and to know that this is no longer going to be an issue, should I return to make more purchases online or in their brick and mortar stores. It seems that I am being nickled and dimed at every turn and I have begun to tire from it. So, I appreciate anything that can be done. Thank you in advance.
Review: I ordered some items from this company's website on January 9, 2016 and have yet to receive my merchandise however, I am still being charged for it. I have followed all of the steps that the customer service department requested, but nothing has been done as of date.Desired Settlement: Since it has been three full weeks since this order and I have not received it, I would like to have a refund issued. I think it is just awful that my items have not been recovered and I have never had this many issues with any other company in the past, I just don't understand why my my order has not been located.
