A repairman came to fix our washer and charged us over $300, told us we needed a new pump and that he couldn't come back until next week, the $300 did not include the part, my husband had to drive an hour away to pick up the part which cost him over $100. My washer is still not working, not sure why we were charged over $300

Our story is the same as everyone else's here; it's too bad we learned about the Revdex.com F-rating after paying a technician more money to fix our stove than it was worth.

It started out fine - technician arrives and it costs $80 for him/her to diagnose (we were told this upfront). Then a quote for $250 to fix the identified problem. Once we're $250 into the repairs, he mentions that the 6" burner has malfunctioned and costs $335. At this point, you either stop at $250 and don't have a working stove, or go all the way with an overpriced part.

Calling the company to ask for the part # (so we could source it ourself) got us nowhere, but if a stove element costs $335 my name is Micky Mouse.

Samsung Dryer

My fiancée called the said company to repair our dryer. My fiancée indicated that is was not performing it's basic duties such as, It was not drying and making a thumping noise. They sent in a technician, who in turn changed two parts and left. The following day we discovered the dryer was not repaired. It was still not drying, thumping and now making a third noise, a high pitched squealing sound due to whatever the technician did. We called back once again. The technician came back and just then discovered the heater was broken which he indicated he missed in his last visit. He changed the same parts he already did and left. Not once in these visits did he complete what we already paid for. A repaired dryer! Now we are out $632.80 and still a broken dryer. This company stated they didn't want to send technician back out. The manager we dealt with was short with us and not helpful to resolve the issue. It was clear they wanted to wipe their hands of us and offered a $100 "good will refund" which is rubbish. We are outraged feel completely ripped off and taken advantage of!

Desired Outcome

We bought the dryer for a little over $600 and it's costing us that much and more. The technician has been back twice and still has not completed the repair. It is going to cost us even more to render the original problem and the problem the technician caused. We would like a refund therefore we can just buy a new one and refrained from being ripped off once's again.

I wish I read the reviews first. They quoted $80 to look at dryer, then they said it would cost $400 to repair my dryer. After I paid, the next day my dryer did not work again, I called the company and they do not guarantee their repairs. Basically I gave them my $400.

My process started on January 31st and it's still in process. I cannot believe regardless of how many times I call no one seems to care. When they came they told me I needed a part and they charged me $400 for that part. I received the package as I said that we would install it but it came missing the piece we needed most. This was mid February and we sent a picture of what the contents were so the appliance repairman company could send it to the manufacturing company who sent the parts. They said they needed to confirm if it was a missing piece from the box or if the part came in a different box. I called 10 days ago which was about March 22nd to get follow-up . They followed up with me the following day and said I would have it in 10 business days as the company is shipping it. Needless to say I am still waiting and it is almost mid-april. I have asked to speak to a manager can you believe they actually told me they don't have one in the parts Department. I have no idea how I'm going to escalate my concerns but I am probably at the point where I'm going to show up.

Refrigerator Ice/Water Maker Issues: Same deal. I was told $80 for a service call and that the amount would be credited against repair costs once determined. Fifteen minutes later I was advised of the problem and that it would cost $285 to repair. I asked the service person if they had the necessary parts, and he indicated, yes, he did. He began the work and then 15 minutes later I was told that it needed parts he did not have with him - he'd need to order them. I asked how long it would take to get the parts, and he said 1 to 3 weeks depending if they were "in stock". I that now been 6 weeks and no parts. I would highly recommend NOT calling this place and I equally wish I had checked this website in advance of making the call. It seem no matter what you appliance, or what your issue, it's $280 to $290 to fix you problem and then the price goes up form there.

Called a repair man to assess what was wrong with my dishwasher, they quoted me 80 dollars over the phone for the assessment. he came over and only assed the machine and did not fix anything and charged me 300$ for 20 minutes work, I was mislead as to what the outcome would be.
Product_Or_Service: appliance assessment

Desired Outcome

Refund I would simply like a refund minus the assessment fee which was 80 dollars.

Throw your money out the window. Despite the claim of an 80.00 refundable initial consultation, the service is *** and incomplete. After 260.00 we had to replace our microwave anyway. Customer Service via phone or email is a total waste of time and basically they cry that the initial company went out of business and this is a new company (using the same phone number), who cannot refund.

I called them for service last week, they said $80 for a guy to come in and check but before I knew it he billed me $316. Of course I was not home to dispute but my wife paid. For the record he didn't do anything to earn that $316. My fridge is still not working, its still the same as it was before he Appliance Repairman came in. How is that fair??? *** They should not be in busy if they don't provide service to anyone.

Desired Outcome

I want my money back. They didn't provide any services to me. The repairman (***) was there for a few minute and all he did was fill out a work order and started charging.
