The employeesecond whom work in this store are rude especially when you items are paid off and awaiting deliveryI was told that my furniture would be delivered on storeaturday but was never given a call to confirm a timeWhen called we were told that it could be anytime SaturdayAnd they hung up this is a joke and unexceptable!!!
Upon purchasing the dining room table set the split in the underside of the table was not noticable until several days laterHowever, when I contacted the store and left messages for both *** and *** I haven't received a call back as of yet from either of them
When I first ordered(layaway) my bedroom set the sale associate said that they did not have it in stock but they were in the processing of ordering itI confirmed with the sale associate, the date that I would be needing my bedroom set because I would have to vacate my apartment around that dateShe stated "Yes, it would be in by then"
A few weeks on down the line I had paid my layaway out and we had scheduled for a delivery on Sunday between the hours of 1- So, Around 12:on Sunday, I had called American Freight to confirm that they still were going deliver it between and and the manager said "Yes, that all orders are on the truck already and you would need to call one on the companies that is on your pickup receipt." So, I called one company and the man stated that he does not work todayThe other driver said that he did not have it on his truck and the 3rd company said I was not on his list neitherSo, at this point I am upset because I had taking off that day beca

I started a layaway in the Morrow location, I come in the office to fully payoff the furniture in February 2018, I told the rep I was coming in to pickup the furniture myself they said no problemI get there they say they don't have the sofa in stock! So I asked for a refund I was given a partial refund because something happened in the system to make it look as though I ween to the Norcross locationI was directed to call that location to get the rest of the money, I speak to the manager there he tells me the Morrow location has to process the refundAt this point I call ###-###-#### the number listed on the website for a refund I have been leaving messages for months and it is currently May and I have still not received my money back!
Thursday, October 13,2016, I paid in full for a black spider lamp Total cost $cash American Freight was going to order it The lamp was to arrive at the store on or around November 13, I realized that I could not afford to buy a lamp at this time On Tuesday, October 18,2016, I traveled fifty miles round trip to get a refund I was told that a company check would be issued to the store in seven days, and that I would have to piup at the store in Portage I told the clerk- Shakir B*** ,that I would have to pay my driver more gas money I asked if the check could be sent directly to me, and was told no That when the check arrive, that the clerk would call me to let me know that they received it Shakira said, she would call to let me know, that she was mailing it to me!! Wow! The check could have been mailed from Uganda by then!! I paid twenty five dollars for both trips to Portage I REALLY NEED MY MONEY!! My financial situation does not
We purchased a loveseat and couch from this location We also bought the upgraded warranty which protected both pieces 100% for years About months ago our loveseat just fell through and its beginning to happen tho the couch as well We contacted both american freight and the warranty company only for them to tell us that would look into it and call us back Almost months later they are no closer to resolving this matter than they were when we first called The gentleman speaking on the phone said "I just purchased this business months ago so I dont know," and hung up on me We have contacted this facility times now and we have our phone records to verify this
American Freight advertises great sales on television but the furniture they are selling at the great price is low qualityThey have better furniture that they place in other rooms that they don't show youI found mine by walking into the dining setsAfter choosing a set at a reasonable price they offered to finance including days of free interestThat sounded great until I signed the paperwork and realized that if I did not completely pay it off within those days then I would end up paying over doubleMy total was approximately $and I would end up paying more than $if it was not taken care ofThe interest they charge is absolutely ridiculous and should be illegalThey have to have a credit or debit card to submit the paperwork to financeThey did not say until afterward that they would automatically take a payment from itThey did a down payment on mine which they did not submit as a credit charge it was done as a cash advance which my credit card charges a fee forI called the finance company they use and they changed my card to a bank account so that does not happen again but did not offer an apology or a creditThey also could not tell me where my down payment went to because it did not go toward my purchaseTheir advertising is very misleading and the sales associates are not very knowledgeable of the finance policyOnce you sign you are stuck with this and it should not be allowed or toleratedThey also offered me free cleaner before I left but it was not cleaner...it was furniture polish for wood and leather and I did not purchase either so it did not help me
Purchased over worth of furniture may 2018, everything was packaged great, but upon getting the new bed we purchased home it was determined that the footboard was cracked, a leg was missing, and one post on the headboard was coming apartWe purchased the warranty but still to this day I am calling the store every month as we wait on a new bed...absolutely ridiculous! Called corporate left several messages no call back to this daySomeone was sent out almost two months after the purchase to replace the items BUT they brought a wooden leg, not metal like the other 5, a footboard post, which is useless as the crack is in the actual middle piece of the footboard where the posts attachesEverytime I call I get the same story, we cant order certain items we only sell what we get...so what good is my warranty program if they cant reorder broken partsI originally wanted my foot board replaced but now almost months later I deserve to have it replaced and refunded the warranty charge
I actually had a very good conversation with the local people and local facility here in Lexington, Ohio and they were trying to help. I have witnesses that were there that it was just a conversation. I do not understand that AF does not respect that someone trying to get their money back on a deficient product is obsessive. I work hard for my money and would like satisfaction. They say they were denied for wear but as the warranty paper that I have the measurements exceed the amount of inches the mattress is allowed by their own requirements. My mattress went beyond these measurements and I showed this in the pictures.They have a customer service line and I am trying to use it. Also, the manufacturers web site for contact goes straight to them so again how can I ask any questions when they only say it was denied. Yes, they communicate but only as they say in their response here that they told me. yes they said denied but do not give any reasons except it didn't meet the requirements.She is the one that continues to claim I am being unreasonableThat is only because I did not give up like other people that must give up to their answers. Of course, I am not going to accept this when I feel the mattress was defective

I have a sectional sofa purchased from this company's location in greater Richmond, VA in May, I paid extra for the Protection Plan I have called the company numerous times, and wrote to them on the matter in early Feb,
I only used the sofa about months After about months the stuffing came apart Initially it was just one pillow/cushion, then the adjoining ones came apart in a similar manner This sofa was used in my living room; just family use I do not allow pets on my furniture at all
I believe this is a case of poor workmanship The seams along the bottom of the upper cushions on the longer section of the item has come apart, and some of the stuffing kept coming out (I have pictures) After about months of use I put the sofa in the garage, as it was unusable

Filed a warranty claim in December The warranty was to cover the replacement of our sectional couch that had a tear in itAfter a month of the Erie office saying they sent in the claim and we're waiting to hear back I then contacted the regional managerThe regional manager submitted my claim again and after weeks she said she still didn't have an answerFrom that point on I have not been able to receive an email back or phone call back from the manager
We bought a couch and love seat in February will it started to bow in the middle so they came and replaced it then a few weeks later it happened again so they replaced them again and when we opened the wrapping off of them there all skuffed up and holes in places and I just over this we purchased a warranty for this and now there telling us they cant do anything about it this is the sets of furniture from them and have always been please until now

I bought a Serta 2500RFS SanMarChocolate sectional couch from American Freight around years ago and it already has multiple rips in itI don't have any kids and I don't have any pets so there is no reason why the couch should be in such bad shape already
