My husband and I went into American freight on 473 east black stock Rd unit 1 Spartanburg SC 29301. We bought a bed and value plan in full. We were supposed to have it a week later however when we called to have it delivered they said it was not in stock and would take two months then again in two months I was told it was not in stock and I had to wait another week. When we did get the bed it was just delivered and not put together. We had to go back to the store and have him call someone to set up the bed. It appears that who set up the bed did not set it up correctly. It wasn't but two weeks later the whole top part of the bed broke while my husband was laying down and it hurt his back. The plan said all they can do is replace the bed with another one just like it and if I was to upgrade the frame then they would no longer be insured. The store said they would not refunded my money and gave me a number to the manager Randy liebler 7408169057. I was told that once the bed leaves the store it is no longer there responsibility they are also not responsible for anything that was set up even though I had it set up through their company. He would not give me a refund or take any responsibility for the product he sold.
If a customer builds a bed incorrectly and causes damage we are not liable. We would be willing to re-select the customer to a different set but our sales are final and there will be no refund.
We did not do the installation ourselves. We used a company provided by them for the install. We also purchased their value plan package to protect us if something happened. They also failed to register us after we purchased this plan.

I went in on 3/8/18 and ordered a queen bed with platform and a twin trundle with mattress. They repeatedly screwed up the delivery and fulfillment and refused to respond to my request at the corporate level for resolution. I have attachrd screenshots
This customer decided to Re-Select. Customer choose the Huntington which was a difference in price and I told them that we would meet them halfway on the difference in prices. Customer explained they didn't have any extra to spend so we comp them the metal fame so they could get the mattress.
I purchased a kitchen table and 4 chairs on 2/14/2018. The delivery was 3 hours late with no contact from anyone. Once delivered the chairs were not the chairs that I wanted. The table is pub style and the chairs and low chairs. I called to have the chairs replaced with the ones I ordered and was told that they only had 2 and that they would deliver them the next day. No one came the next day. I called and was told they did not have the chairs and would have to order them. I was told it would take 2 weeks. I called to check if the chairs had arrived and when would they be delivered and was told they were never ordered. The man on the phone cursed several times while never taking responsibility for the store's error. I called today 3/15/2018 at 11:30am. The man that answered told me that he had no idea about my order and that I would have to call back yet again after 1pm. I am not calling back. I have been trying to get merchandise that I paid in full for and am getting no where. I would like the store to remove the furniture from my home and refund me in full for the purchase and delivery unless I can have the chairs here by 3/23/2018. My kitchen has a large box full of chairs in it and no one can even get around the box. I am very unsatisfied with American Freight. Please help me resolve this. Thank you

I purchased furniture from American Freight in Metairie LA in April 2017. I made payments on the furniture because my house was not to be completed until June 2017. There were NO issues with our original salesman and my living room sectional. 2 side chairs, dining table and chairs were delivered on time with no problems.
01/2018 I noticed that my table began to bubble/bulge in 2 spots. I called American Freight and they advised that I have to call the Guardian Warranty Company to file a warranty claim. I did that and they said that my warranty does not cover the bulging wood on my table and that I have to speak with American Freight because it is a manufacturer issue.
I called American Freight, spoke with a female manager and she asked that I email 5 pictures to her and she will be in touch. 3 weeks went by and no word from American Freight. I called back and spoke with a male manager. He asked that I email 5 pictures directly to him. I immediately forwarded the email that was previously sent with 5 pictures. 2 weeks went by, and no response from American Freight. I called again and was put on hold multiple times and was told that the manager had stepped out to call back in 45 minutes. I called back and no one answered the phone. I called again, still no answer. I finally spoke with the manager and he said that the pictures need to be sent to corporate so they can make a decision. I followed up the next week and manager said that corporate never responded. He would call me than day. NEVER got a return call.
March 2018 I drove from Slidell, LA to Metairie, LA (42 miles) to speak with some about the table. After waiting at the counter for over 45 minutes to be acknowledged a man who said he was the regional manager from Texas, was happy to help me. I explained the situation and he processed my exchange. I chose a different table because I was concerned about the same thing (bulging) happening again. Josh put all of the information into the computer and told me that they will call me in 2 weeks when the table arrives.
3 weeks later - still not phone call from American Freight. I called and asked when will my table be in and they said 14 days. I explained that it had been 21 days since I ordered it. They manager said that he would find out where the table is and call me back. I did not get a returned phone call.
2 days later, I called again. A female answered the phone and I asked to speak with a manager. She put me on hold, 10 minutes later asked my name, I gave it to her and she put me on hold again. She came back and said that the manager was busy and could not take my call. I asked to hold and wait for the manager. She put me on hold. I waiting 27 minutes and hung up. I did not receive a returned call.
I was finally able to talk to a manager and he said that the table was in and wanted me to pay for the delivery. I refused to pay 150$ AGAIN for a delivery on a warranty item. I volunteered to drive to Metairie to pick up my new table, but refused to bring the old table. I felt that this inconvenience should have been covered by American Freight. This was their warranty issue.
The Manager declined to pay the delivery. Until after 2 weeks, he agreed to pay the delivery fee. I was TOLD that my table will be delivered on Friday 3/23/18. At 5:30 pm I called to find out approximately what time I should expect the driver so that I could make sure that someone was available. The Manger (a male) said that the truck was just leaving with its first round of deliveries and my table will be on the second round. I advised him that it was 5:30 in the evening and didn’t want to receive a delivery at 9 at night. He said that my table would be delivered before 9 at night. The next afternoon, 12:00 SATURDAY I called and the manager said that my table would be delivered today. I informed him that it was supposed to deliver yesterday, Friday and that we cancelled plans with family to wait for a table that never came. He apologized and said that he would call me back with a time after he talked to the delivery driver. I NEVER RECEIVED A CALL.
On Sunday, I called and spoke with a female manager. I explained everything that had happened and she said that she had the driver standing in front of her and they wanted to schedule a time. We agreed on 9:00 and the driver came at 9:00am.
When the delivery driver arrived, he brought in the new table and took the damaged table. In the meantime, he broke one of my garden light. The driver gave my husband 12$ for the broken light. The light comes in a set that cost 79$ and individual light cannot be purchased.
My husband left for work immediately after the driver delivered the table. When I arrived home at 6:45 the table was lying flat in a box on a thick rub. I opened the box and started putting the table together. After 2 hours, I finished the table and noticed the corner was damaged. It looked as though the table was dropped either at the warehouse or in transit.
I called American Freight in Metairie and explained my frustrations again. The female manger offered to have another table delivered by Thursday, I explained that we have family coming in town to stay for the Easter Holiday starting tomorrow (Wednesday). I explained that I will not have another opportunity to put the table together.
I left a voice mail for the regional manager and customer service manager at Corporate American Freight. The CS Manager called me and I explained what happened. She said that she wanted to call the store to get info to see if they can bring another table.
She called me back and her to tone was completely different. She was extremely rude and condescending. She said that her employees said that I was rude to them therefore she has said all that she can do for me. I explained to her that I had a 193$ credit at American Freight and would like it to be sent to me via check or pay pal. She said that it will continue to be a store credit. I told her that I will never purchase another thing from American Freight. She said thank you for your opinion but we won’t give you a check. You will have a store credit. I asked to speak with someone higher than she and she said very rudely I AM THE BOSS YOU WILL ONLY SPEAK TO ME!!
This has been the worst customer service experience ON ALL LEVELS that I have ever encountered.
This customer has failed to mention that American Freight has given her a free upgrade on a dinning table set, free deliveries, rescheduled dates and times for delivery, free assembly and on top of that $400 of compensation.
Everyone at American Freight she came into contact with helped her, worked with her and extended all that they could but it was never enough. The aggression used, the lack of respect towards others, total fowl behavior was taken to a level that was frightening plus endured by us.
American Freight sincerely believes our customer service was of decency and fairness, we gave all we could and more and wanted too! But on top of all this and what is more important is the satisfaction now claimed by this customer....this was the focus for American Freight the whole time!!

I WAS NOT OFFERED A FREE UPGRADE ON A DINNING TABLE SET. I WENT INTO AMERICAN FREIGHT AND ASKED IF I COULD PICK OUT ANOTHER TABLE BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT THE SAME THING TO HAPPEN IF I CHOSE THE SAME STYLE TABLE. MANAGER AGREED AND AFTER WAITING FOR 30 MINUTES FOR ASSISTANCE, I CHOSE A TABLE THAT WAS $223 LESS THAN THE ORIGINAL TABLE COST. I ALSO KEPT THE ORIGINAL CHAIRS THEREFORE I DID NOT RECEIVE NEW CHAIRS. THERE WAS NO UPGRADE. IT WAS A DOWNGRADE. I WAS TOLD THAT THE $223 WILL BE A STORE CREDIT AND CANNOT BE GIVEN TO ME ANY OTHER WAY. SUSAN B REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE $223 CREDIT. SHE SAID THAT SHE, "I WILL NEVER GIVE YOU THAT CREDIT IN A CHECK. MELVIN CONTACTED JOSH (MANAGER) AND OK'D THAT EVERYTHING WAS GOOD TO GO. I AGAIN APOLOGIZED TO BOTH MEN AND OFFERED THEN WATERS. THEY PICKED UP ALL OF THE TRASH FROM THE BOX AND LEFT.

SUSAN AT THE CORPORATE OFFICE HOWEVER, WAS BY FAR THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON THAT I HAVE EVER COME IN CONTACT WITH. I NEVER USED FOWL LANGUAGE TO ANYONE IN THE LOCATION EITHER IN PERSON OR ON THE PHONE.
I AM SATISFIED THAT I WAS ABLE TO GET A TABLE THAT WAS NOT BROKEN. I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE THAT I RECEIVED. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND AMERICAN FREIGHT TO ANYONE THAT I KNOW. AS A MATTER OF FACT I WOULD DETER THEM FROM EVER GOING THERE.
I FEEL THAT THIS RESPONSE FROM AMERICAN FREIGHT IS 100% INCORRECT AND IT WAS NOT REPORTED BY SOMEONE WHO WAS FAMILIAR WITH THE SITUATION.

I had order a living room sofa set back in October of 2017, the first set of sofa the arms fell of and it took them while over two months to even respond to me and let me know if they were going to replace the set, then I get an email letting me know they would replace the set with a new set when next shipping came in, I agreed to that. I get home the set is not anything like the one I ordered and I reached out to Javier (store Manager) who states this is set that is up grade from what I had but again I let him know I nothing like I bought, and that the recliner chair does not match now, he then stated we will exchange that as well he could not give me the same set I had, so with no other choice I agreed, I also asked if recliner would be over sixed as I paid more for an over sized chair he stated yes. I again I go to work have my inlaw sit to receive the order and I get home it is nothing like the over sized chair at all. I sit in the chair two time and it also breaks and now can not recline, when you reach out to the warehouse they put you on hold for over 20 minutes or they tell you Javier is busy with another person and hang up. Now the financing through their company is crazy I am paying close to $6000 for this sofa set that I don't like it not what I picked out and so cheap I can't even use this stuff. I will advise anyone trying to buy from there to stay away
Went to the store to get a mattress set. Before we went my wife called and confirmed that they did have the set we wanted at the price advertised. It’s a 30 minute drive for me so I wanted to make sure they had the set we wanted. My wife called one more time and spoke with a different person and they confirmed they had the set. Upon arrival they immediately knew who we were. They then told us what direction to go to get it. 10 minutes of looking for the sales guy shows up and says that they don’t have it. My wife says we just talked about this on the phone and you said you had the set. His reply was “let me get my manager”. He left and came back with the stock lady.(not the manager) she then says we can sell you this set right here. (This set was triple the price of the set we wanted). The lady was very rude about the whole situation and presses us to buy the more expensive set. We bought nothing from them and never will.
Buyers Beware, would never shop this place again, has been a terrible experience, on delivery day, no call and show at all, when they did deliver didn't have coffee table that we bought and to this day, over a month later still don't have the coffee table or end tables we bought, customer service has been atrocious, would not reccrecom this place to an enemy

Purchased a sofa, loveseat and table from American Freight. They had a sub contractor who I can't find any information or get any information from American Freight, to file a claim, about the contractor who delivered items. The contractor is refusing to repair damage to front door that he and his partner damaged when leaving taking the new couch that was brought to my house damaged back to the store and damaged my door I want my door repaired back to the way it was prior to the contractor delivering the furniture!
This customer said her sofa set was damaged and told the delivery driver to return it. This customer said the drivers scratched her door upon taking it out of the house. American Freight gave this customer the name of the head lead of the subcontracted delivery crew and his direct dial for insurance purposed. Pictures show no visible scratches on door. For this inconvenience American Freight gave this customer $125 and offered to replace the sofa.
To date: Customer does not want the delivery crew to come back into her home and wants her furniture returned.. American Freight has refunded this customer and has also refunded the delivery fee, we also will be picking up her furniture.
I am rejecting this response because: I have multiple pictures of the damage done to door and a witness who saw Leonard (sub contractor and his employee)do the damage and another witness who was present the same day and knows the before and after appearance of the front door! This is a new house for me of which I have only made one payment on! And the American Freight store has in no way helped with getting my door fixed, as they will not give insurance info for me to file a claim against Leonard and his company! I did go back yesterday and attempt to receive a refund because I was afraid if they sent Leonard back it’s mean more damage to my home! The above pictures posted are not all of them I have more if they need to see them!

I have waited for a delivery crew,other than the one hired out, that caused the damage to my home, to come and pick up table and chairs! I have not denied American Freight the chance to pick up the remaining furniture! I ONLY requested they NOT send out the sub-contractor used to deliver furniture, fearing due to his anger issues he would cause further damage to my home! I do not appreciate American Freight attempting to make me look like I was the bad guy in all of this! I did what I was supposed to and my home got damaged because of it!
I am simply attempting to settle with American Freight since I have not gotten any compensation for the damage! Like I previously stated, IF American Freight wants to leave the table and chairs I will accept this as a settlement for the door damage as it was $298 and the estimated charges to repair door was $350. No other compensation necessary. However if they want to send someone other than the sub contractor to pick up table and chairs and pay the estimated $350 for door repair, that will be acceptable too!

We have tried to get out a new delivery crew and left messages to this fact but no response back by customer.......To reiterate.......The $125 will not be given until the return of the table and chairs....if customer wishes to keep the table and chairs then she forgoes the $125 for any damages of any kind and will not hold American Freight liable for the sub contracting Delivery Crew's delivery alleged damage, which the Delivery Crew are legally responsible for.
Please note, customer has been refunded already for this table and chairs but wont allow anyone to pick it up....we stand by our last response
On March 10 my family and I went into American freight to purchase a dining table. A sales associate by the name of Joshua assisted me with getting through the process, my fiancé went in the following day to pick up the table. When we made it home and set the table up we realized that we were given the wrong table. When we realized that and called American freight the place was already closed for business being that it was Sunday and the closing hours are 5P.M on Sunday. We were given the Chase table Chase table instead of the Pompei high table. I called the following day 03/12 and requested to speak with Joshua. Joshua acknowledged that he made an error but asked me to bring in their table and i’ll Be able to pick up the correct table. I didn’t agree with me picking up the table since me and my family were already inconvenienced by being given the wrong dining set, and brining it home and setting it up ourselves. I requested to speak to a manager and was informed by the manager the new table would be delivered the following day and after I receive the table I would come in and sign for the updated table. It’s now Sunday 3/18 and I have yet to receive my dining table and the Chase table has yet to be picked up. I’ve called throughout the week asking for an update and I’ve been given different dates as to when it would be delivered and the manager has not followed through. Today I called to speak with the manager and he mentioned that I need to come in first to select the correct table when I clearly told him which table I wanted. He also informed me that I wouldn’t be receiving my table today after he confirmed after I called the day prior that I would receive it today. This has been the worse experience I’ve ever had with any furniture company. Customer service is non-existent, and they lack clarity.
We have spoke to this customer on two separate occasions. We told her since she has a finance deal, she has to come back to the store to re finalize the paper work since the table is $100 more. She also did a CPU. We offered free delivery and set up for the inconvenience but she wants the table swapped out first before we finalize deal. We told her we cant do anything until the paper work is corrected in our system and with American First Finance.
t wasn’t until yesterday I was informed I had to come in and sign PRIOR to the correct table being delivered. I’ve spoken to Joshua and the manger on more than two occasions and the instructions were never clear. I will gladly come in and sign but unfortunately both me and my spouse are employed full time which is why it’s even more frustrating because we’ve both missed different days of work awaiting a delivery that never showed up. No one even had the decency to give us a call to keep us informed.
Good morning. I would love to be able to leave an updated review regarding American Freight. After speaking to the manager Mark I can honestly say there was a slight miscommunication in the beginning, but he resolved all concerns.
Over a month ago I purchased furniture from American Freight and they had to get my sofa brought over from another store location. The furniture wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to be. Over a month ago they finally delivered the sofa and it was damaged. I was told to go ahead and use the sofa as they had 2 on order and once one came in they would swap it out. I finally got a phone call on Sat 3-10 telling me the sofa was in and scheduled delivery for Tues 3-13. On 3-13 at 6:30pm when the sofa hadn't been delivered yet I called the delivery person and they said "oh the store was supposed to call you. The new sofa was damaged worse than the original one." I called the store and was told the store manager or the regional manager would be calling me no later than Wed. 3/14. It is now 3/16 and I still haven't heard from anyone. American Freight has the worst customer service I have ever had.
American Freight would like offer the customer a $500 refund in the form of company check that will be refunded directly to the customers home address on file with American Freight. The customer has advised they would like to source out repairing this sofa on their own. This will also void any remaining warranty on this customers Sofa purchase and is considered "as is".
If the customer accepts this offer, please advise so we can process the refund accordingly as well as verify a correct address to send the refund to.
I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find the resolution is satisfactory to me. Please advise when I can expect the check.

I recently purchased one sectional couch for $861.74 and a bed for $654.82 from American freight in Vestal Ny.
I have had so many issues with the furniture that I purchased that I am very upset and asked to return the items.
The couch that I spent almost $900 on has a broken leg and big rip in the bottom of it! The bed was a complete FAIL! Purchased February 19th did not receive until late February 20th
. Had a funeral to go to as my Grandfather passed away and I had to fly to FL. After I came back, my husband and I decided to out the bed and couch together. First thing was the couch and noticing the big rip in the lower bottom then the wobbly broken leg. The couch was able to be pushed against the wall to be held up. Now the bed. What a waste of money! My husband opened one of the boxes and saw a smashed in corner on the drawer, so I called American Freight to tell them about the damage, right after I hung up the phone, my husband spotted the frame piece broke right in 1/2 This is the headboard piece which holds up the bed. So, I called back and had to wait a extra day for delivery drivers to exchange parts. Now, we decided (husband and i) to start putting the bed together since we are sleeping on the floor. Come to find out shortly that the two support beams that hold the bed together are TWO LEFT LEGS>I need a right and left. I am so frustrated at this point that I called the American Freight back and was told that I had the wrong store, then I call back to be put on hold for 30 minutes. Finally, I reached a worker telling me NO that I can not return this bed or couch since I have had them for 13 days. explained that I did not want this stuff as it's damaged and I paid a ton of money for furniture that was damaged and I believe I am entitled to my refund. Now, still today on 3/15 I have a broken bed in boxes taking up my whole BEDROOM! I have a BROKEN TORN COUCH that NO-ONE will return for me. This is the worst customer service that I have ever had! I have proof of the funeral and plane tickets that I attended and proof of call records and proof of damage on all this stuff! I want this company to come pick this stuff up and give me back my money so I can go buy something that is not broken! I myself own a small business and my husband is a local journalist. We both have never had such a disappointment in a business as American Freight.
Please come get this broken furniture and refund my credit card. My contact information is located on this form and will be happy to work with someone on a time to remove the contents from my home.

BUYER BEWARE! If you purchase here, make sure ADAM IS NOT YOUR SALES PERSON! Request ANYONE else! Not only was he on his phone the entire time while I spent $1,600 with him, he was so rude AND... He straight up LIED to me about the frame and headboard included in the price I paid for the bed (mattress and box spring) he straight up LIED to my face and my mom as well since she was with me. ALSO, I called yesterday to mention it to the manager, Leroy (I never complain. I am a very calm person and understand things happen everywhere but this was completely unacceptable) and Leroy never called me back. I will be making a corporate complaint as well as the Revdex.com and possibly further. He was absolutely terrible. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE !
Also not to mention the tables I got were such low quality that they didn't even align when putting them together! Not low prices.... low quality!

Upon purchasing the dining room table set the split in the underside of the table was not noticable until several days later. However, when I contacted the store and left messages for both *** and *** I haven't received a call back as of yet from either of them.
Customer agreed to purchase a floor model as is for a discount. American Freight will be doing a manufacturer's claim to see if we can replace. This process takes 15 to 30 days. Customer will be contacted immediately as soon as American Freight receives results.
I am rejecting this response because: on March 9th I received a call from the store Manager *** (***l) stating that he's will to rectify the situation, and would check with the delivery driver to see when he would be able to get a replacement table out to me. Yes, I did purchase the floor model under the impression that it was free of any breaks. I am disabled on a limited income, and do not have $430 to simply giveaway to a business at will. I am simply asking for a replacement or to be refunded my money in order to purchase a table else where.
I haven't been contacted by *** nor anyone else from the store since March 9th.

American Freight apologizes for the troubles the customer has had. We have spoken to the customer again, and have agreed to swap out the damaged table, re-select her or we will issue a refund. Customer stated she is out of town at the moment, but will reach out to American Freight once she is available.
I believe *** contacted me last week, and I informed him that I was out of town. He stated that they would swoop out the set, but however it's not in stock at the moment and wasn't sure when it would be available. When I mentioned that I had been trying to resolve this matter since February, he said well you did agree to purchase the floor model...as if I should be okay the delay.
At this, I would like to opt for a refund of the purchase please.

we ordered mattresses with my mom's furniture order. my mom ordered new living room furniture and I ordered 2 twin matresses and although we did seperate orders we had asked american freight since me and my mom live next door to each other in the same trailer park to put my matress order on the same truck as my mothers furniture order. we called american frieght several times for 3 days since last thursday. (thursday, friday, and saturday) asking if our order(s) were all on the truck for delivery and they were suppose to deliver on friday night and never did however they did deliver saturday night at around 8:00 - 8:30 pm after they unloaded and assembled the new furniture we asked them where the mattresses we ordered were and they told us they weren't on the truck and it wasn't on their list for delivery and they showed us their list and it showed just the living room furniture and no matresses and now we've been calling american freight and we paid the $125 delivery fee one time for the living room furniture plus mattresses and now they are demanding we pay another $125 for them to deliver 2 mattresses when it was their screw up on their end and we shouldn't have to pay another $125 when it was their mistake for not placing the mattresses on the same truck as my mothers furniture order.

Called before I visited store was informed by Steve that company does same day delivery. Went to store on 03/03/2018. Purchased a dining room table, coffee table, 2 end tables, and a sofa and love seat that cost about $1,600. Was informed that they will deliver items on that day but they did not give us an exact time per their protocol. The items ended up never being delivered on Saturday 03/03/2018. My husband *** called and Steve offered a $100 store credit because he forgot to put us on the delivery list. The next day on 03/04, we used the credit and purchased a 5 piece King bedroom set for $960. The items ended up being delivered at 9:30PM that night. I am currently 7 months pregnant but I helped my husband put the bed together and upon building the bed we realized they had delivered a queen bed frame. We had to take the bed apart and sleep on the floor for the night. The next morning my husband called Steve again and he informed us it was a mistake and he was going to have someone pick up the queen bed frame on 03/05 and deliver the right bed frame. As of 03/06/2018 we have not received our King size bed frame that we paid an additional $200 for. This is the worst customer service I have ever received.

As I stated in the original message I used the $100 store credit to purchase the 5 piece bedroom set which took 5 whole days to be delivered when I paid for same day delivery. I didn’t get refunded the delivery charge or anything. This response was extremely unprofessional like the service I received from the store. I do not wanna store credit because I plan to never spend my hard earned money at this business ever again. I would like a refund of some of my money actually.
American Freight can certainly do that.......if this customer wishes to bring in her credit cart we will be happy to put $100 back on her credit card.
I purchased a bedroom set last summer. I paid in full at the time of purchase. I still haven't received my headboard and footboard. When I go in in person they say they will makes some calls then ignore me when I call them they don't answer it's been about 7 months. I'm a patient guy but this is ridiculous. I also payed for delivery and tge delivery guys destroyed my wall. Hand rail was almost completely ripped out. It has since been fixed but I took photos.Lafayette Indiana store.

We purchased brand new sofa and love seat in early November of 2017 as well as purchased the extended warranty plan. not even a month went by and the recliner on the love seat broke, I called right away and told them what happened and they asked me to send them pictures. I instantly emailed them pictures and they told me it would be a couple weeks and I would have my new piece. I called them in the middle of Dec and was given some excuse that corporate had to approve that it would be a few more weeks so I waited and never heard anything back from the company. I called them again and the manager said I am getting you a new piece it will be in in a couple days. I waited for two weeks to hear back and nothing so I called and got a story oh the wrong piece came in but if you want we can give you another new couch for the same price or I could have the used loveseat off the floor that 100 different other customers have sat in. I said no I paid for the set I want the set and I want new like my warranty covers. I feel that every time I call I get the run around. I always get "the manager is with another customer he will call you right back" to which we never ever hear back! I finally got ahold of the manager he said just be patient a few more days and he would refund a very little bit of money back and get my new piece. well here we are the beginning of March of 2018 and still no furniture or phone calls or anything! I tried to call this afternoon to which I got the reply "he's with a customer he will call you back". No phone call, big surprise! I think that waiting over 3 months is being patient enough, I want results
was taking care of on Sunday 2/4. The customer was waiting on a Haven Motion loveseat that was on backorder. As soon as we got the Haven loveseat back in we called *** with the good news that his loveseat came in, so on 2/4 *** came in with the damaged loveseat and was exchanged for the new Haven loveseat.
yes they are correct, I did receive my replacement loveseat, after over 3 months and all of a sudden it comes in when I file a complaint with the Revdex.com the day the company receives the complaint and miraclessly it came in on that day? I am glad we finally got our replacement but very disappointed still that it took 3 months and always got the run around. If I wouldn’t have filed this complaint I still probably would not have gotten it when I did, anyway thank you Revdex.com. I would not recommend this company! I just pray we don’t have to use our warranty anymore, we don’t want to go through all this hassel ever again.
I bought a couch and had the ability to take it home that day. I bought a warranty plan that included a protective spray on the couch and the manager suggested we wait a day and pick it up the next day so it would be dry. We do not have the means to transport a couch so we made plans for a friend to help us. We showed up to pick up the couch and after waiting an hour the manager said their system showed they had six couches but didn’t have any in the back and must have sold the couch earlier in the day. He said they didn’t have any of the couches I bought. He found another couch at a different location further away but he would not ship it to me for a discounted rate. I tried calling the regional manager and have not been contacted back. I did not receive a call from them during the day saying they didn’t have any couches in stock. I asked why I didn’t receive a message during the day that they sold my couch and he said “because he just found out they didn’t have anymore.” I want the couch I purchased delivered to me and sprayed with the protection I purchased. Since I was not contacted I want the couch delivered free of charge.

Around March/April of 2017 my husband and I purchased a living room set from American Frieght. We also purchase insurance during the time of purchase. The sales person explained to us that if any damage was to occur to the sofas, we would be able to replace either one. Damage did occur to both sofas and about a month ago my husband and I went into to store and Spoke to the manager who said for me to send pictures of the damage goods and he would forward them to the Furnitures manufacture. Needless to say that we did that and it’s been over a month now and no one has contacted us about the matter. My husband and I went back to the store, also called the store including corporate. They seem to be ignoring us and basically not treating us as customers. That is extremely bad for business because not only will we not purchase anything from them anymore, I will not refer anyone to their store which I did few weeks ago when a co worker asked me where she could go purchase quality furniture for her first apartment. American Frieght does not treat their customers with respect or acknowledgement. We just want the damage goods replaced or the insurance money back. Very Shameful!

Thank you for taking care of my issue. I am 7 months pregnant and this situation was stressful. I’m not sure I’ll purchase anything else from American Freight or refer them to anyone moving forward. If the insurance is only for cleaning the couches then please educate your associates about what it will cover specifically. Or else you will face this same problem with another customer.
The employeesecond whom work in this store are rude especially when you items are paid off and awaiting delivery. I was told that my furniture would be delivered on storeaturday but was never given a call to confirm a time. When called we were told that it could be anytime Saturday. And they hung up this is a joke and unexceptable!!!
