After only having my furniture for a day I noticed bugs coming out of the furniture I later found out a day or two later that they were bed bugs I called the company to tell them that the furniture that they had sold me was infested with bedbugs they denied my claim and hung up the phone
I purchased a couch and love-seat set in August 2017 and also purchased the warranty. Shortly after, my couch started coming apart. I called the store and they requested that I send an email with pictures documenting the issues. I sent the email in April and was told by the store manager it would take four weeks to get a response. I sent follow up emails to the store manager a month later and never received a reply. I went into the store where the employee called the store manager and told me that he would call or email me to resolve this. I never received a response. I contacted the district manager and never received a response. I contacted the corporate customer service and continue to get rerouted back to the district and store managers. Four months have now passed and no one has answered, responded, or contacted me.
American Freight has re selected and exchanged this customer as of 7/21/18
I ordered furniture from this company on March 23rd, 2018. I had ordered a dinette set and a bed frame. I have been making payments every 2 weeks on time to this company to pay for these purchases. I got everything paid off July 17th. When it comes time for me to get my furniture delivered to me, they don't have my table top in stock. They tell me that they have to order it and it could take around 2 weeks. I do not understand how they do not have this in stock after I ordered it back in March. They knew when my delivery date was. Because of the frustration of this and how my service is poor, I asked for my money refunded. When I asked for my refund, they told me it would take 2 weeks to a month. It should not take this long. I want my refund now and no more contact with this business.
American Freight has processed this customers refund request as of 7/19. Refunds typically take 10-14 business days to process and send out directly to the customers home. American Freight does not keep large amounts of cash on hand or accessible for the safety and security of its employees and customers. These refund policies are clearly posted at each location.
I purchased a living room furniture and bunk beds and both are broken. I purchased a warranty that cost $300 and I purchased it in February of 2016. The company said that they denied my claim because of where the furniture is ripped and broken they denied. When I purchased their employee did not explain that they just said get a warranty because it was a floor model in case anything gets broken. When I first purchased when they delivered it had a hole on the outside of the couch so I had to take them to magistrate because they were not going to give me another couch. Once I did that they called me and gave me new furniture.
American Freight has refunded this customer the cost of all purchased warranties in the amount of $320.85 on 7/21.
We spent a LOT of money with this company. We purchased 2 living room furniture sets, tables, beds, and chairs. We also purchased the warranties with all of the furniture we bought. We wound up spending over $10000.00 here. When we picked up the second set of furniture, we were given the wrong couch. When we finally got the correct couch, it was broken. We called as soon as we found the issue and reported it. This company told us that the warranty would replace it, and since we reported it within the first 30 days, it would be replaced anyway. I have begged them for 3 months to get me my new couch. I called today and they told me my claim was denied. Today I was told that I had 48 hours to report the damage and the warranty only covers spills and tears to the fabric. I was also told that if I wanted my couch replaced I needed to purchase another one. This company is ripping people off by lying to them to get them to buy furniture from here. I purchased something that was broken when I got it and instead of them replacing it, they put it off for 3 months and said I didn’t report it when I should have. All I asked for was my couch to be replaced.
American Freight had to transfer the replacement piece in from another location and has arranged to replace it on Saturday 7/28/18 at no charge to the customer.

I bought a sofa for $1,200 exchanged it for the Lola bedroom set .. it took them a while to change my bed over from the sofa they said they were using a different system when I bought the sofa. Okay, I let that go even though I had to keep contacting them and going up there to see any progress. I came and got my whole bedroom set outside of the mirror on June 12th. The manager told me he would personally deliver my mirror, okay.. I left with the impression everything would be find and I’d be sleep in my bed.. well when I got home the bed didn’t match they gave me two different beds the nails didn’t fit the headboard. I called them and told them then went up there to get the ones that would fit.. got back home it didn’t fit and the back of the headboard broke I was missing some of my bed.. they gave me extra pieces to another bed but didn’t give me my whole bed. I called and told them my issue they told me they would get a bed and mirror for me and deliver free of charge.. well today is June 17th and I didn’t get a call or anything from them like usual.. so as usual I call them they tell me who ever it was that was suppose to get my bed and mirror they got sick and couldn’t go. I thought that’s why businesses hire other employees. I am very aggravated with this situation I have been very patient and understanding but I moved on the 12th and I haven’t slept in my own house because I don’t have a bed to sleep on. I shouldn’t have to keep contacting them and going up there for them to correctly do there job. They are very lackadaisical and nonchalant.
American Freight will replace the broken bed on Sunday 7/29/18 for the customer and provide her with a free matching nightstand for the inconvenience of the ongoing issue.
I have been waiting for 10 days past my verbal delivery date. Can not tell me when my product will be delivered. I called and was told I could cancel on 7/7/18 by Cedric and now a Brenton will not honor Cedric's word and will not void or cancel my contract.

Called store that I purchased my sofa on 07/06/2018 and Javier asked me to send an email with pictures and he would contact manufacturer to file my warranty claim.
0709/2018 Javier called me back saying that he can't file a claim because I bought my couch discounted . He said to look for it on receipt that it stated no warranty. I looked at my receipt and it does not state that the item had no manufacture warranty. It says NO REFUND, NO RETURN, NO EXCHANGE. I am not asking for any of this. I am only asking to get the sofa fixed , so yes, I am asking that your store stays behind the quality of your product. If I had read the reviews on Revdex.com before going to the store, I would never buy a couch from you.
I purchased the couch on 07/2017. I don't have pets, no kids. It does amazes me that a couch would only last for 12 months.
I sent the email to Javier, stating that I checked my receipt but could not find any information that I don't have a warranty. He hasn't return my call or email. He gave me a website to file a claim which is www.americanfurn.net but that doesn't work either .
This customer purchased merchandise at a discounted price and the receipt stated the purchase was "as is"; therefore the manufacturer's warranty does not apply to this furniture. American Freight is willing to offer a discount on a future purchase.
I PURCHASED A BED AND MATTRESS SET AND WAS TALKED INTO MAKING WEEKLY PAYMENTS TOLD IT WOULD BE SAME AS CASH FOR 6 MONTHS BY THE SALES ASSOCIATE. ONLY TO FIND OUT 4 WEEKS AFTER BRINGING THE BED HOME THAT WHAT HE ACTUALLY HAD ME SIGNED UP TO DO WAS A LEASE TO OWN AGREEMENT. IT TOOK 4 WEEKS TO GET THE AGREEMENT IN MY E-MAIL, FINALLY, AFTER REQUESTING IT 8-10 DIFFERENT TIMES BEFORE GIVING MY 1ST PAYMENT. WHEN I QUESTIONED WHY MY INITIAL MONIES DOWN PLUS WHAT I HAD JUST PAID SHOULD HAVE HAD THE CASH PRICE OF 896.00 DOWN TO 700. THAT WAS 5 WEEKS AFTER BRINGING THE BED HOME, THE BALANCE WAS LITERALLY ONLY 56.00 DOLLARS LESS AFTER PAYING 196.00 INTO THIS, THATS THE FIRST I LEARNED OF THIS LEASE/RENT TO OWN. OF COARSE THIS BECOMES MY WORD AGAINST THE SALES PERSONS. I ordered furniture and paid for it on 5-6-18. I ordered a 3 piece furniture set with ott. at the time I scheduled delivery and everything they had in stock. I have waited over a month going on 2 months I have made 2 payments to my credit towards the furniture and still have NOT received it. I contacted the store many times and they keep giving me the run around. first they stated it was out of stock everywhere so I called some of the local regional stores and they had it in stock and held it for pick up. I called the store I purchased from and they were to set up a transfer for it. to this day they still have NOT transferred it to their store nor delivered it to me. I keep being lied to about it. I got rid of my furniture in my home under the pretense that I would have this new furniture, so my and my family have been sitting on the floor for 2 months. I am not happy and neither is my family.
American Freight has provide the customer with a 10% discount on their order and also delivered the sofa, loveseat, and recliner today, and will deliver the ottoman to the customer at no charge once it comes in stock.

I am rejecting this response because: I believe they owe way more than 10%. I had to pay double for delivery I paid once to someone when it was not there and told it was then I had to pay again once it was there, then when it was delivered it had missing legs and the pillow string was coming undone and it had scraps and marks all over it. I requested a new set but of course they didn’t want to do all that again and applied another 10% to my account like that was going to change my mind. Then they was supposed to bring back my legs to couch and loveseat and never Didi nor call me about them. I had to go into the store about a few days later and ask about them, the assistant manager finally tried to get me legs they weren’t the original kind that below to my furniture and now I still have to figure how to get them on. Also still have not received my ottoman and they have no clue when it will come they all have different stories. This has been the WORSE experience in buying I have ever had and the manger NICK is rude and A smart butt and deserves nothing. He is the worse customer service I have ever had especially from a store manager. Abby the assistant has been going out of her way to try to get things resolved, now that is what a manager does. Nick should be demoted. I still believe I deserve 30% additional percent off or at least my ottoman free on top of the damages and the 10%. All this also should not effect my warranty plan.

American Freight has provided the customer with a 20% discount as well as free pillows for the ongoing issues. No additional discounts will be provided. American Freight is still willing to drop the ottoman off at no charge to the customer if they so desire, it is in stock at the store location if they'd prefer to pick up at their convenience.

I am rejecting this response because: the only reason I was given any discount is because the furniture was scrapped and dirty and not in a new condition so they discounted it so they wouldn’t have to go find more ship it to them just to take this back to their store. I have not heard one thing from them about my ottoman that they say is in stock why haven’t they contacted me and why have they not arraigned for it to be delivered and why if thatsthat would be delivered free of charge why wasn’t the rest of it delivered that way. I am very unhappy with this whole situation and their customer service is horrible. Worst business to deal with and wouldn’t shop there again.

After almost six weeks of waiting, speaking to the regional manager a few times, calling every store near me, after being quoted three weeks for delivery after purchase, I'm done . Three thousand dollars was spent on total, and we still have not one piece of our five piece King bed set, or our mattress . I'm *** . There has been next to NOTHING for communication, when I've reached out to the regional manager Cana, she gave me some half *** voicemail in return, I've been sent in a wild goose chase to even find this woman . Plenty of friends and even strangers are now aware of the *** service that American Freight has to offer to anyone who actually makes them money. And I am not the one. Already done a review on their page with much more detail, but I'm sure it won't make it to the public because there's literally proof of my communication to them with nothing in return . So . Have fun getting out of the hot water on this one, American Freight . Many people in Delaware and Dublin have changed their minds on the business they will be choosing to finish their homes .
I apologize for my profane language, but I don't think anyone but me and my family understand how absolutely frustrating this has been. Our kids are waiting to get settled in our home and we can't until we have this bed.

I received my couch and one of the leg anchors was broken, there is a tear in the favric from where the delivery guys tore it and the main seat spring is broken. I called them right away and it took them two months to get me a new couch. When they came to deliver it it was the wrong color. After that I informed them I was moving soon and instead of delivering to a second story apartment I told them I would be okay if they would want to wait until I moved into a one story house. After I moved I called and they said my couch is discontinued and I could have one similar, it was less expensive the the one I have and they never actually sent me the email to look at it. When I called back again they told me my couch issues were resolved so I asked them why I still have a broken couch. They then wanted me all by myself to take pictures of the damage and I expressed to them I couldn’t lift up the couch on my own. Then insisted they couldn’t proceed with out pictures of the broken couch after many many times of me telling them I am incapable of lifting the couch by myself. They gave me the regional managers number and hung up on me.
American Freight would be happy to replace the damaged furniture. The customer can have a full credit of all amount paid for the damaged product to choose a replacement set of their liking and at their convenience.
I received furniture July 2017. First with this company, they promised (their "guarantee") it to be delivered at a certain time, which was not. However, the main issue is that my furniture, both the couch amd loveseat, were delivered with tears. I contacted the store and the sales person of the tear that were not even caused by me. They were contacted multiple times right away. I also took pictures and even went up to the store. The sales person that I was dealing with (who no longer works there) said the furniture that I had was out of stock and can take weeks. I wanted the same furniture that I already had since I just moved and purchased other items for the living room as well. So I was given just a $75 credit which I told the store I may use on a dinning room table (which I never did) and still was waiting on the status of when that furniture would be in stock. In addition, I did purchase the 5 year warranty which I felt I should not have to file against my warranty for damage that was not caused by me. So a year later, I am moving and wanted my furniture swapped out like I was told that could happen. I no longer had follow ups, but contacted the store myself to switch out my furniture still. The female manager was rude, saw the notes and my credit given and said they cannot sell the furniture in the store because the furniture has been "lived on" for a year which I understand, but I still wanted my new furniture switched especially since the damage was not caused by me and I was moving and wanted to swap at another location. The sales person, the manager and even the area manager has all told me different things. The manager of the store and the area manager had "oh well" attitudes. When I spoke to the area manager, he told me to file a claim with my warranty that I purchased to get my furniture to get my warranty swapped out then he would give me free warranty for the new furniture. The warranty would not swap out, but said they would contact me to "repair" in 7-10 business days of my claim, but I was moving within that week (out of state)and also, it has been already about 10 days and still have not heard back from the warranty company. After filing the claim, I spoke with the area manager who still had an "oh well" attitude. I am very displeased with this company with not accomodating with the couch damage not caused by myself and all the money I spent (over $800). Not to mention, I even had to swap out a table from them becaise when delivered, the wood was all chipped. Just horrible.
American Freight offered the customer a $75 credit to keep the damaged pieces of their order in absence of an exchange back in July of 2017. The customer agreed to this and kept the furniture. American Freight upheld their end of the agreement and gave the customer the $75 credit. A replacement after 1 year of ownership use was not part of the agreement between both parties and will not be provided. American Freight apologizes that the customer has not heard back from Guardian Protection Products, Inc in regard to filing a claim with them. The customer is welcome to follow up with Guardian on their claim by calling them directly at .
I purchased the Peoria living room set and recliner from their Huntington WV store. They got the item in stock within the 6 weeks as promised. They even held it for me until the remodeling of my family room was complete. When I went to pick it up they helped load it in the back of the truck. The furniture made it to the loading dock in excellent condition and the quality is great ! Cannot beat American Freight for quality furniture at a great price !!
Purchased furniture set on credit applied for and was to be delivered due to delivery fee & extra fee for same day delivery. Furniture was delivered and day after noticed product was defective (torn open & nicked spots)/poor quality. I called the store back and let them know and from here the nightmare began. The customer service after the purchase (and I even purchased the protection) has been little to none. Jason from Hendersonville store has been nice and seemed genuine to want to solve the problem but he went on vacation and no one else since has tried to help me. I have missed work a few times based on empty promises/lies that I would get a replacement. Then when I finally get the replacement the quality is the same...defective (torn open & nicked spots)/poor quality. I had them just take both old & new back since both were defective and not acceptable.
American Freight has canceled the customers contract with American First Finance as all product was returned to American Freight as of 6/29/18. Any payments that were made to American First Finance will be refunded by them, not by American Freight.
American Freight is unable to refund any money paid to the third party delivery service. The customer would need to contact that delivery service directly.

After delivery of the sofa I noticed damage to the back of the sofa. I called, was told a new one would be delivered, but I was sent a sofa that was too large & wouldn't fit thru the corner of the apt. I then asked to have the sofa repaired & was told on 3 separate dates, the 10th, 11th & then the 15th that someone would come & repair it but no one called & no one showed up. Then the problem & complaint
American Freight will pick up the sofa per the customers request on Saturday 6/30. Once the sofa is returned back to the store, the customer can stop in for the refund of the amount paid for the sofa.
On 6/20/2018 I purchased a bedroom set from American Freight, *** location, over the phone. The Manager Mike E ensured me that the furniture would be delivered on 6/21/2018 and that the delivery crew would set up the furniture and take the trash away. Not only was the delivery driver Benson C, rude and disrespectful in my home, but they scratched up my walls and stairwell rails, and put a 2x3 foot stain in my carpet from thier dirty boxes. The boxes should not have even been brought into my home. The sales manager Mike also ensured me that the price of the delivery was going to be $65. However the delivery driver, Benson, charged me $75, and I had to pay him another $20 so he would take the trash with him. We live in a HOA community that fines residents for boxes and bulk trash. The manager was rude and cursed on the phone when I called him to explain what his delivery driver had done. Not only did the driver overcharge me, they didn't assemble any furniture, they scratched up my walls and stairwell rails, STAINED my carpet, and cursed at me! The manager Mike on the phone told me that the delivery driver was a stained carpet would have to be taken up with the delivery guy, Benson C. When I asked Benson what he was going to do he said he would "try to wipe it up". Yet he left and did nothing! This is the worst company I have ever delt with. The customer service is non-exsistant. I demanded a refund and that they take the furniture back, and yet agin Mike E, the so-called store manager said there was nothing he could do because the delivery company is a 3rd party contracted company.
The delivery service providers are independent contractors. Please contact the company utilized for your delivery to discuss the issues and get resolution. If you have issues facilitating resolution with that provider, please contact and we can assist.
I purchased a warranty on my dining room table. Was told it covered breakage scratches rips tears etc. Pretty much anything. Warranty was expensive as was dining room set. Contacted store and was told to email pictures to corporate office. I did on May 29th 2018 and have heard nothing. Called store today and now am being told it tskes 4-5 weeks. I am being given the run around and have a broken chair as well as chairs with rips and a table with a white mark on it looks like from heat but only a pizza was put there.
American Freight apologizes for any confusion surrounding the different warranties involving this customers product. This customer purchased a dining set with the mentioned protection plan on 6/7/16 and took delivery of the products on 6/18/16. The 1 year manufacturers warranty has since expired, however the customers 5 year protection plan is still active.
American Freight has reached out to Guardian to see if the customer has filed a claim with their warranty reporting their damages. Guardian has no record of any issues reported by the customer at this time.
American Freight requests that the customer reach out to Guardian () to speak with one of their customer service reps to be able to file the necessary claim.
We bought a swivel chair from them and after a few days, the base part broke rendering it just a chair with no swivel. We were within the return period. They said they'd come out and replace it. None of this happened. And now we're over the return period. We called 9 weeks straight to try and get this done. Julius who always picked up the phone at the Madison location kept telling us he was the assistant manager and that they were working on it. He would not return any promised call backs. Then we got fed up one day and he told us to call the regional manager Alonso at . I left a message. We got nothing from these people. Our chair is still broken. No real attempts were made to remedy it. In fact, we were deceived into going this route so that we'd be out of the return policy window.
American Freight would be happy to replace the customers chair at no charge to them. The store has already arranged to exchange the chair at no cost to the customer on 6/21/18.
I purchased a bed from american freight april2018 for 500.00 including delivery and it keeps falling apart.I cannot sleep on it.
American Freight is willing to offer the customer either a refund of the $178.20 + tax the customer paid for the bed frame, or offer the customer an upgrade to a different model.
