I am a current customer with ADT, I called them about cancelling my service, I started in a home and moved to apartment and was not aware of the fees Account Number: XXXXXXXXX Customer Since: Payment Amount: $ I am a valued customer, I never missed a paymentI got the alarm system in mainly because my mom was sick and in bad health living at homeMy mother did not make it and passed awayThen it was transferred to my apartment and the services where used for over thereI was not aware that there was going to start my contract overI have now moved out of the apartment and I have all my equipmentI talked with an ADT rep and told them what I was going thru and tried to return all the equipment that I owned for a refund and to close my accountI am still being charged my monthly fee every month, and no one from ADT, cares about my life struggles, this $is hurting me every month because right now I dont have a home, I lost about everything when my mothe
I had a horrible experience with ADP originally occurring when I moved into another location and had to have my system moved They charged me ridiculous fees every time I moved My current home the install tech was completely unprofessional and left me waiting for over an hour because he misplaced his paperwork He knew all the details of the install, so why would he come unprepared I filed complaints with Revdex.com which they dismissed; supposedly they indicate it has been resolved which it hasn't I will never do business with ADT again they have crappy customer services and their prices are crazy for the poor service/performance They were supposed to credit my account and never did so I am ignoring them just like they do me...horrible!!!
I have cancelled adt several timesPlease close the account I'm being billed for days when the lady said I wouldn't be in march Adt is going back on its word
I have been trying to cancel this service for approximately monthsCompany promises cancellation, does nothing, keeps billing me Several months ago I was having trouble with my home security system In my city, we get fined for excessive alarms I called trying to get my system repaired, and didn't get anywhere so I decided to go with another company I have sent cancellation notices by mail, as well as by talking with their customer service representatives Every time I call, it's like I'm talking to them for the first time There is no record of my letter to them or any of my previous phone calls Every time I talk to them, they assure me that my account will be cancelled, yet they never close the account and they continue to bill me I don't know where to turn for resolution at this point This is such a trivial matter to go through so much trouble over I just want to cancel my account, pay my *valid [redacted] charges, and move on The company seems totally unwilling

ADT is refusing to provide me with one of their policies in writing regarding alarms and charges from police dept/municipality On January 18th I had yet another alarm due to malfunctioning equipmentThe supervisor I spoke with on that day was supposed to send me (via mail) something in writing stating that I would not be responsible for any charges from my municipality or police department due to alarms that are not my fault She informed me that ADT would pay any charges incurred I never received the paperwork so I called again in February requesting the information again I was told they would request that it be expedited since I didn't receive it the first time I called today, March 14th for the 3rd time yet again requesting the information I was told by supv that they aren't able to send anything I have been waiting for months for this paperwork The first two people put in requests/tickets to get this into to me and now they are refusing Paying
Pulse system not meeting expectations I feel I was cheated by the sales team My pulse system doesn't not record on motion as its setup to do so It records when it wants and when I need it to it seems to fail I also called to have an additional camera installed and the company canceled on my twice I'm unsatisfied with the performance and security of the system and would like out of the remaining contract
Terrible company! Horrible customer service! Back in April of I called to get a home security system installed in my home which I was moving into in June of I explained to the sales rep the layout of my house and how many windows and doors would require a sensor to get the best protection for my homeHe advised me that he would be happy to put in the order, and I picked an install dateOn June 11th the installation tech came to my house without all the equipment agreed on in AprilWhen I asked him about it he advised me that the sales rep had put in an order for a system upgrade and used the info from the existing system which was owned by the previous owners, and did not put in the order as a new customerI was rather surprised by this and said that I would follow up with the sales repThe sales rep, [redacted] called me that same day and apologized for HIS error and proceed to tell me that if I wanted the equipment originally agreed upon with my year commitment then I would need to pay an additional $ On June 15th, four days after the install of the equipment I called to cancel and have the equipment removedAs I was within my day buyers remorse period this should not have been a problemI spoke to someone who confirmed that the order for the cancellation was put through and I would receive a call within hours from the installations department to schedule a date for the tech to come in and remove the equipment On June 17th, days after the cancellation I called back and spoke to [redacted] who advised me that the cancellation order had not been "approved" but that it would be cancelled as requestedI requested to speak to a supervisor who further confirmed that the cancellation request had been ordered, and then he put me through to installations to set a date to have the equipment removed On June 23rd, I had a tech come in and remove the equipment, and on the same day I received a bill for months of invoicing!!! When I called the billing department they advised me that an order for a cancellation had NOT been put through! calls and an abundance of time wasted, and not one person had done their job but promised me on several occasions that they had! On June 24th, I spoke to someone in cancellations who confirmed that an order for cancelling had not been put through, and that he would take care of itI called him at 9:am and as of 9:am all I've received is poor customer service, reps that will tell you anything to get you off the phone, and I am now waiting for yet another phone call from their Sales Department because apparently this is a process to cancel your service! This has been by far the worst experience I've ever had with any company, and I highly suggest that nobody goes to them for their home security needsThere are 100% better companies out there!!!
I was told I could have gate alarms and smoke dictectors for my business when the sales person was here It took forever for him to get me prices and when then I finally get a call to inform me that they no longer offer smoke alarms for business because of liabilityAlso they do not offer alarms for gatesOf course I wanted to switch to another company that offered the services I needBut wait its conveniently passed the grace period that I can cancel my contract and now I am locked into something that does cover my needs for yearsfast forward years and months and I had to call to have a repair doneI was looking over my account and realize they have been slowly raising my bill in small amounts over three yearsFunny how they can charge me more even with a signed contract but I cant pay them less or cancel
Fraudulent & misrepresenting their product & services I was told via phone conversation that the sensors in the house could be tied to the ADT system, as well as adding motion & glass breakage sensorsThe installation fee was $& monthly monitoring was to be $ Upon installation I was told my sensors couldn't be used because they were wireless and I would only receive sensors & motion detectors for my initial installation feeIt would cost an additional $to completely secure the house I reluctantly agreed to have the the sensors option added as it at least secured the doors to my residenceI signed one document at installation showing what was installedUpon returning to work the following day & reading my emailadditional documents had been fraudulently electronically signed in DocuSignI immediately tried to cancel within my day limit, but the fax number for cancellation was a voice line with a recorded messageI called ADT & was given another fax number that rings, but doesn't answerI am forced to send the cancellation notice via registered mail, as ADT apparently doesn't want to provide means to accept my request
I cancelled my ADT service in February, When I spoke to the gentleman on the phone I clearly stated I would like to cancel my accountI was told that wouldn't be a problem and paid what he told me would be owed ($100.56) and was told my account was closedI recently found out, as in today August 26th 2016, that a remaining balance of $was sent to collections without my knowledgeInstead of acknowledging a mistake on their side and taking care of it I was told, "I'm sorry, I don't know why he charged you that but it is at collections." I frequently move due to military service and wouldn't recommend ADT to family, friends or colleagues
RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Mr. Carver's entire response was a misrepresentation of the truth with 2 outright lies. I called him 4 days after my wife left a message for him Not the next day. He did not offer "everything at my cost." In fact only after my wife's several attempts and my one did he offer anything. At this point I did tell him I was glad because I thought he was going to work with me in a reasonable way. He then told me that I would have to pay more than it would have cost me to have the work done right the first time. At this I told him I would complain and he told me to "do whatever you have to." He called me today and was rude. I hung up on him and left a message on his business website for him to stop harassing me. As I put in my original complaint I do not want resolution and I do not want to say it is resolved. I wanted to complain only as a warning to others. First of all, all I wanted was a price, and I was put on the phone with a outsourced company called RED VENTURE which I did not even find out about till later The rep out and out lied to me on the phone quoting me a price of a month The price turned out to be $ Everything he told me was a lie I have called numerous people and they will not re listen to the recorded phone log, they will not make this right Plus they expect me to pay a restocking fee for merchandise I told them not to even bother shipping
Our contract is different than original, things were added after we signed About weeks ago I called Protectron to stop our alarm contract as we are moving into a condo and do not need to have the alarm Protecton told me I couldn't cancel because we had signed a month contractThere is no where on our contract that says months so I disputed it on the phone - they said very clearly it was on the contract They emailed the contract to me and sure enough it was on their copy, but not oursThere were other things on the original copy that were not on ours such as model number that was better than the one we had installed These things were added after we signed the contract with the sales person that came to our door Protectron has said we owe them over $for disconnection because of the contract which we signed We told them we did not want a contract in the very beginning We are moving this week and need this settledthis is fraud and we will consider pressing cha
I would never choose this service again First of all my security panel is years outdated I have not seen a representative since I have signed up for the serviceAlso I decided to remove the panel yesterday which should have trigger that someone has broken into my home It has now been over hours No one has contacted me nor have that sent anyone to my home as an emergency I continue to get a notice stating that my bill is going up each year and with this experience, I have been paying years for no service I have also set the alarm off before and when I ask why they didnt contact the police, they advise me that they did not have the local police number in my area on my account ADT has not protected me in years yet they continue to bill me
Called to cancel the account back in August since I switched security companies the same monthCustomer services said cancellation was going to be official and terminated by September the same yearCalled back again and sent cancellation letter on 9/14/then again on 9/29/and also made a call on 10/06/and customer service said it was cancelledTo my surprise ADT sent me a bill last month in December so I called several times on 12/27/and I got a run a round and different stories from different agents but finally after the third call one of the agent confirmed my calls and also said that they had received both letters of cancellation and transferred me to the billing so as to see if the could backdate the cancellation since it was their mistakeAfter dealing with that I called again 0n 12/28/and talked to billing and account cancellation department who said they back dated and cancelled the accountTo make it official I asked them to provide me with

6/25/2016, ADT employee told me ADT contract will be one year then I signed the contractYesterday, I was told it's three years, asking me $ETF On 6/25/2016, ADT employee told me ADT contract will be one year long, then I signed the contractYesterday, I called ADT to terminate my ADT account, they changed words and told me it was three years, and If I want to terminate it, they request me to pay over $early termination fee (ETF), which I was never aware of before signing the contractI searched online, and found ADT was sued in [redacted] because they did similar things to customersthey did not inform customers the contract lasts three years and "demand outrageous cancellation fees" -https://topclassactions.com/lawsuit-settlements/lawsuit-news/4183-adt-customers...⇄ is related to what ADT did to customers is "a recent ETF class action lawsuit claims that the way ADT handles things also violates [redacted] 's Consumer Protection Act."

My system does not work, has not worked, and no tech has been able to solve the problem yet they will not let me out of contract When I signed a contract several months back, I was expecting that I would be recieving a product that works. Since that time, I have had batter malfunctions that could not be fixed, cell tower in-communication causing a constant beeping at 4am waking my whole family, a new panel put in, and then an alarm went off while we were un-home and ADT did not communicate with us or the police. I have finally decided that I have had enough after I was told that I would be receiving 2 months FREE service for our troubles, and only received 1 month. I would like to be released from this contract as ADT has failed to protect my house and my family with a product that does not work. They have cost me over $1,000 in missed time from work to be at home awaiting service calls in an attempt to fix the multiple problems that have not been resolved.
