Had an issue this weekendHad appointment set up for an upgrade consultationTech [redacted] never showed and never calledTrying find out what is going on through customer service is a complete headache! All they did was confirm appointment was still in computer and connect directly to her phone, which she didn't answer until two hours after the appointment window closedWhen she called back, she sounded impaired, possibly drunkCouldn't answer questions, very confusedCouldn't give a legitimate answer as to why she was a no showADT's customer service is a JOKEThey have offered no solution! They want to send the same tech back out, I don't want this person in my houseAt first I really liked ADT, but after dealing with heir customer service, I am considering going to another company

ADT cancellation fee for a service that they were aware never functioned properly The account is in my mother's name, [redacted] cr XXXXXXXXX, we had their service from October 23rd 2014 to January 27th 2016. We were in a contract and having a lot of problems with the service that weren't being fixed, false alarms were waking us up all the time, it went off every time we left the house and we'd have to come all the way back home just to find it was a false alarm, they're supposed to call every time it goes off so they can get you help and they eventually stopped even calling when it went off so had it been a real emergency and not false alarms we'd have never got help, and lastly during installation a large hole was left in my wall and when we said something to the guy about it he acted like it was no big deal and said "you can just patch it", a whole side of the electrical box is exposed to the point where it's loose and can't be used anymore because when you try

ADT is a fraud and I can't wait to get out of my contract Reason 1: I was con by an ADT phone representative to have an ADT expert coming over to my house and activate my exixting Alarm system, and when their expert got to my house he led me to believe that my alarm system was not compatible with their new systemWhich after all was an ADT system Model issued by ADT Reason 2: The new sytem hewanted to sell to me was about $6,worth and since I couldn't afford it, I 've had to resigned myself to a lesser system with less product than my original one Reason 3: They gave me days to cancel the contract and when I call them I got the wrong fax number and even with all that when I fax the contract to them one of their customer representative told me that I have send it to a wrong fax number meaning that they have give me another one wich also was wrong, so now I have to keep paying for more years I really Hope that District attorney here in TN can take a closer look at their activity

ADT failed to cancel service as requested On June 25, I called ADT to cancel service because I had chosen to use Xfinity Home insteadDuring the call, I asked for two things - to cancel service, and to immediately ignore any alarms associated with our system because of the hardware change-out taking place Clearly, the second request was honored because there have been no alarms Apparently, however, the cancellation request was not logged because there has been another deduction from my checking account for service I called to inquire and was reminded ADT has a 30-day cancellation lead time, so one additional charge after June is legitimate However, the representative on the call said that my original cancellation request was not logged, so the 30-day cancellation window starts today - setting me up for another monthly chargeI feel this is inappropriate My service address is Goose Creek Ct Indianapolis In XXXXX

Product never worked properly; failure of company to respond to service requests Entered into contract on 3/4/16. Customer Account No. XXXXXXXXX Paid $1195.21 that day upon installation of the security system. The system never worked properly. I called for a service representative to come fix the problem however no one ever came. I drove to Lexington in order to speak face to face and get some help, however nothing came of this either. I made good faith and reasonable efforts to acquire the help that I needed, however the company never provided me with a working system. There is a 90 day warranty on the system which the company has nearly extinguished after which time it seems they have no responsibility to repair anything. The company has breached their duty under the contract upon failing to provide a working system at least during the period of warranty. I want the system removed and a refund.

I had ADT Alarm Services install a system in a home I purchased with my son and daughter-in-law They suddenly moved and left me with expenses I could never afford and I had to sell my home I thought the new owners had taken over the monthly cost of the alarm system but to my horror the discontinuation of my service never went through and the bill for this service has been piling up at the bank where I used to have an account I called ADT and said that I could not cancel service because I had signed up for two years! Didn't know my kids would leave me like they did and I would lose everything! ADT says there is no way I can get out of paying them over $to pay for the months still on my contract! There must be a way to get out of this but they're not budging I haven't lived there since April of this year and I have had to pay $for every month since then!

I have received poor customer service and refusal of refund On 11/4/I called ADT to cancel service and asked for my auto draft to be canceledThe specialist I spoke with advised she has submitted the request for services to be canceled and then transferred me over to the cancelation department where I spoke with a gentlemen who provided me with a good deal to stayI agreed to stay with the company and to the terms because it was a price reduction and I didn't have to renew my contract However, I didn't reactivate my auto draftOn 11/10/ADT drafted out of my account $and on 11/28/in the amount of $I called their customer service once again and asked why they were still drafting from my accountThe young lady said that the auto draft didn't have an end date and that she would put it for todayI confirmed that ADT will no longer draft from my account and that I would call on December 10th which is when my payment is due to make a paymentOn 12/8/ADT draft

I was an existing ADT customer and wanted to migrate to cellular service so that I could remove the old phone line from my house In order to do so, I had to upgrade existing equipment, which we did, and paid for by credit card at the time of installation In addtion, in order to upgrade the equipment, I was required to sign a new contract with ADT for a contract term of years Upon completion of the upgrade work I began receiving bills from ADT, one on my old account, and one for a new account that was apparently set up at the time that the equipment was upgraded In addition, I was charged in duplicate for the equipment that had been installed - which was paid for at the time of installation I have spent countless hours on the phone for the past months trying to get this resolved with ADT When I would call customer service, the customer service rep could not even see my old ADT account, for which I was still being billed and was paying I was asked to provide proof of payment and other documentation for them to investigate Finally after months have a resolution that the old account should have been cancelled and was not ADT offered no compensation for the difficulty or time that it took to get a resolution In addition, we recently sold our home When I called ADT to cancel the service I was told that the account was subject to the cancellation fees unless I transferred service to my new residence In order to avoid the termination fees, I agreed to do so and scheduled a time for an ADT technician to connect service Upon arrival the technician requested that I sign a NEW contract, locking me into ADT for another years Given the experience that I just had with billing, cannot believe this is how ADT does business I am apalled at their business practices and lack of customer service The loops in their contracts locking customers to their terms are outrageous I am not clear as to how their contracting practice is legal given the implications that this has on consumers ability to effectively seek alternate competitive providers I would strongly recommend an alternate security service provider and strongly caution consumers to not sign any contract with ADT

Why is ADT security an A+ rated company? Why is Revdex.com cutting them a slack? they have total customer reviews out of which are negative and are positivethey also have total customer complaints? What do you have to mess up to not be an A+ company? Please help me explain it

ON OCTOBER 22ND I UPGRADED OUR ADT SYSTEM TO ADT PULSEON OCTOBER 23RD I SENT AN EMAIL TO ADT.COM ABOUT THE PULSE CAMERAS NOT WORKING AND I WAS TOLD THAT MY [redacted] @AOL.COM DOES NOT SUPPORT THE ADT PULSE I ASKED TO CANCEL THE ACCOUNT AT THAT TIMEADT SAID THEY WOULD SEND [redacted] RUSSELL BACK OUT AFTER 12:PMTO RESET THE CAMERAS THE CAMERA ONLY WORKED IF I USED MY HUSBANDS YAHOO ACCOUNT ON APRIL 28TH MY ADT EQUIPMENT STOPPED WORKING AFTER A BAD STORM ADT SAID THEY COULD NOT SEND ANYONE OUT UNTIL MAY 2ND AND THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK TO SET UP AN APTNONONE FROM ADT CALLED TO INFORM MY HUSBAND OR MYSELF THAT SOMEONE WAS COMING, AND I WAS THEN INFORMED THAT THE NEXT AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT WILL BE JUNE 8TH BETWEEN 8:AND 12:ON THIS VISIT THE TECHNICIAN TOLD ME THAT MY EQUIPMENT WAS OLD, (INSTALLED 5/28/99) OUT DATED AND CANNOT BE FIXED HE TOLD ME I SHOULD CALL ADT AND GET THE NEW WIRELESS EQUIPMENT BECAUSE WHAT I HAVE CANNOT BE FIXED I CALLED ADT WHILE THE TECHNICIAN

Canceled service in April I'm still being charged Service was canceled on April 11, due to death of consumer I called them and was told it could not be canceled without a copy of the death certificate I emailed them a copy along with a note asking them to cancel the service They still have not canceled the service and I'm still being charged for this service I have called multiple times, resent the death certificate and still they continue to charge me The last call I was told it would be canceled and I could expect a refund

I have had ADT service for over 10 years and it has always been fraught with problems and conflicting information from ADT personnel. It would take weeks to relay all the problems, issues and outright lies from ADT over the years. I have now moved out of the house where I had the service and I contacted ADT to cancel service months ago. However, they refuse to cancel the service and give different excuses every time I contact them. They continue to bill me for services I have not received, for a house I no longer own, in a country that I no longer reside in and somehow they still can't see what's wrong with this situation. For months I have been trying to have this resolved but every time I contact them I get a different story. Finally on November 19 someone at ADT said they would have it corrected if I emailed him a copy of the cancellation notification I sent back in August. So I did. But then of course I hear nothing back from them, the account is still not cancelled and they are trying to bill me even more. In frustration I contact them via social media and then I get a message telling me "there is no record of your calls" and telling me that if I want to cancel I can email proving a WRITTEN copy of my signature is on the letter - that is the first I have heard of this. So why didn't someone mention that back in August if that is why they are refusing to accept my cancellation notice, they should have SAID THAT months ago. It is despicable to ignore me for months, continue to try and bill me, and never bother to tell me why you won't accept any of my cancellation notices. What a disgusting company.

I switched from a smaller security company to ADT which is a well known companyI have regretted from the startIt takes them far too long to call me once my alarm goes offI have intentionally set my alarm and EACH time it has been 3-minutesToday on 4-16-I was informed by ADT representative who finally called me back minutes following my alarm that due to the high volume of calls it [redacted] take longerThat alone is frightening to think if I am away from home that a burglar would have an extended period before I am called to say yes send the policeI was also informed by a Rep on another occasion that ADT contract with other companiesIf that is the case why go with the name of they aren't doing the workI can't wait until my contract is over I will NEVER use this company againSuch poor service

They want to Charge me $for a service I dont use I decided to sign on with adt protection oneweeks before I moved In august of Called them gave them all my information they said I'd have the equipment within daysWaited a week never got anything, called in and they told me that I had to econtract and sign it through my emailThat they needed a new email address because something was wrong with my orginal emailWe get this fixed, I explained I was moving in days and needed the equipment before I movedThey said it wouldnt be a problem I would get it in timenever got the equipment and moved, they sent the equipment after I moved, fed ex even asked if my neighbor could sign for it without my authorizationI called in and spoke with a manager, she said she would fix this remove my card information and I wouldnt be responsible for a dimeNow weeks later im being charged a $restocking fee

BE AWARE----I've been an ADT customer for over yrsI just up graded to the pulse systems with wireless camerasThis system has a major flawMy car was vandalized in my drivewayWhen I went to show the video to the policeI learned that the camera only records for seconds....then TAKE MINUTES TO RESET BEFORE IT RECORDS AGAINso all I had was the back of someones headThey left that info about the MINUTE DELAY...out of the sales pitchVery disappointedI was surprised to hear from ADT customer service "who had no idea about their systems" that for another $they can get me the system I thought I had brought

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted for an ADT sales representative to offer me a quote. When he gave me a price, I told him that my house was not pre-wired upstairs and I would need wireless contacts upstairs. I asked him if we can do that in my house and he said "yes of course". I said "If we can have wired downstairs and wireless upstairs I will sign the contract" and I did. The day come for the system to be installed and they only put the devices downstairs, when I asked the technician about the upstairs devices he said that would have an additional cost. I asked to call the sales representative. He did, and the sales told the tech that he was not aware the house was not pre-wired upstairs and if I wanted the the wireless system there it would have an additional cost. I called the sales for an explanation and he said "dont worry lets talk on Monday and we will have everything resolved" Monday came and he never called me.
