We decided to gowith Academy mortgage via a suggestion from someone who had success with them in the past. I really wish we went with a different company. We were suggested to go with an FHA loan by the loan officer who mislead us from the very begining. He 75% of the way through our loan process walked out on his job and we were getting no info. We had put down a down payment, paid for appraisers, and a home inspection. We would have done none of this if we got good information from him in the begining. He lied to us and said we would have no problem using cash we got from our wedding for closing costs and he would take care of us. Problem is.. When we got to closing we had another agent who gave us another story. I contacted their corporate office several times but no one helped much besides telling me we would be taken care of by the new agent. Communication from the office assistant was extremely bad, spoke broken english and I could not underatand half of what she was asking for. They had to push our closing date back 3 times and each time asked us for a "new" piece of documentation that we already sent them prior.tje sellers would not pish the closing back again and we lost the house and almost $5000 because of this company and who they decided to hire and represent them. Very close to taking this to court. I suggest to everyone reading this to go with another company.

My wife and I never thought we would be able to purchase a home because of credit problems and debt. We worked on repairing our credit and went in and spoke with Jeremy M. in October to "just see where we stand". He was very friendly and helpful and told us what we needed to work on and how to do it. We were pre approved in January, under contract in February, and homeowners in March. We now have a home we can continue to raise our family in and couldn't be happier with the Academy and our loan officer Jeremy M.

Leon and Mary went above and beyond to help us purchase our home. Our situation was unique and difficult. They were able to work with all of our issues and got us the loan we needed. I am so grateful for the work they did, and I can only suggest that they continue doing such a great job for others.

Honestly, I don't even know where to start with this review. I was recommended to Jaime by my chosen realtor, Jackie Feaver. Jackie had mentioned that she worked with Jaime in the past, and always had good experiences. I presently work for a financial institution, and as such as more inclined to use my company because of added benefits as a team member. However when I spoke to them, I didn't receive great customer service, and was made to feel like maybe this wasn't the right time for me to buy a home. Feeling a little discouraged, I called Jaime on a whim. I made this call on a Sunday mind you, and she picked up the phone right away. I explained that I was nervous because of our credit, and had a general idea of what we wanted to do, but didn't know where to start. At no point during the process did Jaime tell me that it wasn't going to happen, she kept saying that we were going to make it happen. She laid out all the options for us and let us pick which one best served our needs, and even agreed with us on our final decision. She always responded to my text messages or phone calls, despite them sometimes being at 7am or 9pm on any given day. Jaime truly went above and beyond for our lending experience. She kept us updated every step of the way, let us know what we were pre-qualified for and what kind of homes we could look at, and congratulated us when we put in an offer on the home we eventually closed on! Once we made the offer, it seemed as though everything started to fall apart, we had some issues with the sellers, my husband was working overtime, and I had foot surgery, on top of us having to be out of our residence by a certain day, the stress was there, tenfold. Jaime didn't let me get stressed out about the mortgage though, because she had it handled, and when I was worried about my husband being late to the signing and pushing it back, she covered that too and made special arrangements for us to close late but still fund the same day. I honestly could talk about how good this experience was until I'm blue in the face, and I've recommended everyone I see to Jaime whenever I know they're looking for a home. She is knowledgable and on top of it and will not let you be stressed or discouraged, she will work with you to make sure you get the home of your dreams just like she did for us. I cannot thank Jaime enough and hope that everybody goes to her for their home lending needs.

I think Erich did a fantastic job moving things along and being available to assist me at any time. He was able to provide loan very quickly and I was able to close on my house within 4 weeks.

Academy Mortgage was great to work with. They were very informative in the process and made it easy. Ryan worked very hard and went above and beyond great customer service. I appreciate Ryan taking the time to educate me along the way in the process itself. His assistant was also helpful, which I can appreciate her knowledge of my personal process. This of course is also a direct reflection of Ryan and his hard work with keeping everyone in the loop and moving forward at all times.

I couldn't be happier with the experience my wife and I received from Academy Mortgage for our first home purchase. Academy Mortgage treated us very poorely, lead us to believe that we are approved so we went under contract for a home, kept us in dark for over 2 months, made us refinance our car and give our landlord notice, and at the end we found out that there was no approval ever to begon with.

As a first time homebuyer, I was treated with such great care! Everyone on the team guided us through this very new process -- educating us along the way. I couldn't be more thrilled with this team!

From the beginning to end, Steve F is very attentive, he answered all my question, he returns calls immediately if he can't answer his phone, but most of the time he always answer his phone. He always true to his words, when he says his going to check on something and will get back to me. Within hours he either e-mail me or give me a call for updates. My entire loan process took less than 6 weeks from finding the house to closing. They answered every single question I had, no matter how dumb I thought it was.
