We will gladly send a replacement engine as soon as we know the engine being replaced is ready for pick up when we deliver.  Please let us know the dates this will be available and we will send out a replacement engine.  Your mechanic will be able to give a day when this would be possible.  We will not deliver a replacement engine until the time we know the defective engine is available for pickup.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mrs. [redacted] had ordered an engine from us on December 18, 2014 and it was sent to her in a timely manner.  True. She had called us 3 months later to complain about some of the bolt on items and covers were broken but the actual engine itself was not broken.   Not true.  I called moments after the engine was delivered.  I spoke [redacted].We had asked here where the engine had been for 3 months and what had happened to it because it did not leave our facility like that and we have photos of it to prove it.  Not true.  The question was never asked, nor was there any need to ask it.  The damage was reported immediately, as can be verified by the emails that were included in the complaint. It must have either got damaged while it was in transit  Could be true. or while it was in Mrs. [redacted] possesion for the 3 months. Not true.  The pictures of the damage (also included in the complaint) were taken immediately after delivery of the engine. We had told her if she noticed it was damaged she should have reported it right away, or she could have done a damage claim with the trucking company and they would have reimbursed her, but you can ot open up a damage claim 3 months later after you receive a part you have to do that right away. Not true. None of this was ever said in any conversation or correspondence.  The damage WAS reported right away.  The only thing that happened after three months was that I sent yet another email, which got no reply. However the parts she said were broken were just a front pulley and a timing cover, both items are just bolt on items and are not covered under warranty anyhow, she knew that because she had agreed to the terms and conditions form that stated it.  True.   However, in essence, the items were promised but not delivered.  We paid for not just the engine block, but all the parts that came on it.  If Engine and Transmission World didn't want to pay for the damaged parts, then they should have filed a claim with the shipper, or instructed us to do so.  Instead, we were told to submit the invoice to [redacted] at Engine and Transmission World and that we would be reimbursed. Please read the emails and view the pictures if you have any questions about what was actually "said."  Thank you.
Regards,
[redacted]

Mr [redacted] had ordered an electrical assist motor for a 2007 Honda Civic back on April 14, 2015 and we had pulled it out of a vehicle for Mr. [redacted] with in reasonable time. We had called his mechanic to verify if he needed the electrical assist motor or if he needed the actual gasoline...

engine. because the electrical assist motors never go out and we have never sold one of those. We had gave him the price for the gasoline engine the was about a 460 dollar price difference. He refused to believe that, as we explained it to him over and over again. Mr. [redacted] could not comprehend what we were trying to tell him, he just kept going on and on very aggresivlely trying to talk over us and insisting that he was right, threatening us,  and using profanities, and twisting everything around and saying that he was the victim.

[redacted]Screen shots of the real registration proof (see file) - if you read the actual screen shots on 03/19/16 you will see the real registration SW Transmissions - the writing on the top is just showing the real screen shots and does not change the proof submitted. The 07/07/16 was not a registration. I just wanted to see is their system really worked - I did not fill in the form in July - only submitted the first page with my current mileage - The attachment on March 23, 2016 was sent because I never got any confirmation on the 03/19/16. Read the proof - they are lying and avoiding the truth. Read the proof - not SW lies to avoid the warranty. The transmission was delivered on the 03/10/16 and installed by 03/18/16 and registered by 03/19/16. Read the proof. They are running a scam and I am the victim. A complaint is also filed with the Missouri Attorney General Office for the same fraud on the warranty. Read the Reg Proof file and you will see.

[redacted] The items damaged were the intake manifold, vacuum line nipple broke, throttle body busted, plug and connector and unit broke in multiple locations.

The complainant ordered the incorrect transmission as they needed a 4x4 transmission and that what was not originally ordered. We did get the complainant the transmission they needed but they did have to pay for the freight of the correct transmission. Per the Terms and Conditions of our Free...

Warranty when it comes to Seals and Gaskets: "Seals and gaskets are replaced only as part of repair or replacement of covered components. Leaking gaskets or seals are not covered." https://www.swtransmissions.com/warranty.html The complainant has not filed a warranty claim as of the date of this response. They are more than welcome to file a warranty claim and we will review and based on our findings let the complainant know if their claim has been approved. We hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward.

the complainant purchased an engine from us on 6/29/2017. The complainant stats that the engine we sold him had more than 60,000 miles on it. Per the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty: Line 14:...

"The stated mileage is not guaranteed and is correct to the best of our knowledge." http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php To the best of our knowledge from the documentation we receive, the engines mileage is as stated to the consumer. the complainant is looking for a refund due to purchased parts and labor. Per the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty, we do not cover the issues the complainant stated in the invoice sent to us. The complainant is requesting refund on an oil pan, oil pan gasket set, removal of a broken dip stick, and oil change. Per line 15 of the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty, "We do not warranty oil leaks/damage on engines or transmissions due to non replaced seals, gaskets or filters." Even though the complainant did activate the warranty, we are unable to give a refund for the items requested by the complainant. We hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward.

I reported this early but I have since found the address used was incorrect. ID number is [redacted]. I just want to make a complaint about them being rude and hanging up on me when trying to get an ETA. Then they started to ignore my calls. Had to have my mom call since she was the one who used her...

credit card to purchase the transmission. When trying to cancel the order they again were rude refused to cancel the order and refused to issue a refund. I have since received emails that state they are still proceeding with the order even after we stated we no longer wanted the transmission. We cancelled the order before it was ever pulled from stock and are just wanting a refund. There bad attitude makes us feel us easy doing business with the company RefundselectRefund of all money

This complainant purchased their engine on 4/13/2017 and canceled their purchase on 4/17/2017. All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs if the engine has shipped. Per the Terms and Conditions of our Free...

Warranty: Line 3: "All returned parts or cancelled orders are subject to a 25% handling and restocking fees plus customer assumes all shipping costs." http://www.swengines.com/warranty.php Since the engine had not shipped we did not charge the client for the shipping fees. This does clearly state our return/cancel policy. We did refund the complainant the purchase amount minus the restocking fee per our Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty. We hope this closes this matter and any issues going forward.

We have reviewed the complaint of the customer and found the claims invalid. The reason the warranty claim was denied is the customer did not follow the instructions which are clearly and prominently displayed on his online invoice (sales documentation) as well as a bright large yellow engine...

installation requirement tag which is attached to the engine on delivery.  The customer did not replace the timing belt as shown which in fact voids the Free Warranty.  Had the customer followed the instructions, the warranty claim would of been reviewed and decided upon that time.  Unfortunately, when you do not follow the instructions the Free Warranty is no longer valid.  These are used engines and require certain procedures to be done to activate the Free Warranty.

The complainant purchased a used engine from us on 01/12/2018 and it was shipped out on 01/22/2018. The complainant did agree to the Terms and Conditions of our Free Warranty with their initial purchase of the used engine. The complainant is requesting a refund for additional alleged repairs needed...

to get the engine in working order totaling $664.00. The complainant stated that the engine was allegedly damaged with cracks in the exhaust manifold; a broken timing chain and additional bolt on items were damaged. The complainant did activate their Free Warranty on 2/1/2018. The specific sections of the Terms and Conditions state as follows: 1:  Engine warranties are limited to manufacturing defects in the block, heads, pistons, crankshafts, camshafts, rockers, and oil pumps. We do not warranty any attached accessory parts, such as switches, sensors, cables, electronics, belts, hoses, water pumps, manifolds, wire harnesses, valve covers, brackets, flywheel etc. 1.     The engine warranty covers block, heads, and all internals. Bolt-on accessories, wiring and sensors are not warranted. All the Terms and Conditions of the Free Warranty are prominently listed here: http://www.engineandtransmissionworld.com/warranty.php.  We will gladly reimburse the complainant for the timing chain that they had to replace. We would ask that the complainant please submit a receipt for the purchase and we will reimburse them for it. They can send the receipt to: [email protected]. Due to the complainant repairing items that are not covered under the Parts and Labor of our Free Warranty, we are unable to approve the total refund of $664.00. Please let us know if you need any further information from us.

Mr [redacted] had sent us back an emty transmission shell which is not even ours, he kept our good trans and is driving his vehicle. He is not due a refund becuase he returned a part that was not in the smae condition that it was sent to him, he knew that because it states that on the terms and conditions form that he had signed and agreed to.

They refuse to take responsibility for shipping the wrong transmission. the trucking Co does not label the freight.
This entire process is a Joke. I would like to know what the Revdex.com plans to do in a case like this. Pls respond.

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]As I explained to Alex, I was specifically told by the shipping carrier that signing the receipt was simply an acknowledgement that I received the engine, never was I told by anyone that I needed to indicate what was wrong with it right there and then or nothing would be covered. I feel this is an unfair situation and warrants an exception to be made.Regards,

Mr [redacted] had ordered a 4.3 engine for a 1994 Chevy pick up truck and it was sent in a timely manner. Chevy had 2 different style engines that year  and we unfortunately sent the wrong style engine. So we had picked up the wrong engine and sent him the correct engine. We did not know if Mr....

[redacted] was looking for extra parts, for we only sell the engine itself.
