[redacted] Thank you for submitting this complaint We take these issues very seriously and are investigating the issue on our end A manager will follwith you shortly.Thank you,Tire Discounters
I checked the status of the refund check and everything has been approved and we are just waiting for the check to be cut and signed It will then be mailed to the customer’s address listed on the complaint As for changing the DOT numbers on the invoice, this is not a problem either When it is convenient the customer can come by the store and the store will record the actual DOT numbers from all the tires Then our IT department can correct the invoice and we can either email or postal mail a copy to the customer
The Regional Manager has investigated the events related to this complaint When the vehicle was brought to our location, one of our sales staff went to the vehicle and using the car key had no difficulty turning the key so he could get the current mileage The same employee later went out with the same key to move the vehicle and was unable to turn the key in the ignition We never were able to move the key and did no service on the vehicle The cause of the key cylinder failure is undetermined, but may be related to wear over time Tire Discounters does not take responsibility for failure of the key cylinder Let us know if you need anything further to update this ticket or take care of MrNeal
Customer came in on 9/18/with a noise complaint in the front of the vehicleWe inspected the vehicle to find that the right front bearing was in need of repairCustomer approved the workWe replaced the bearing customer left happyBearing was covered for months or milesAlmost years later customer came back in complaining that the bearing was bad againWe inspected he vehicle again to find that the bearing was indeed in need of repair againSigns of a bearing going out prematurely are common with the diameter of the hub not being large enough to keep the bearing from moving around inside the knuckleAgain a common problem on vehicles of this age with over 100,milesWe offered the customer that if she paid for the new hub and the labor we would pay for the bearingAgain the warranty is only months or milesWe offered this only for customer satisfactionThis offer still stands and Tire Discounters refutes any technician error in installing the original replacement bearing incorrectly

Tire Discounter provided a very dangerous service to a customer They did not provide the appropriate test that they advertise to protect the families that drive away after service The regional manager, with or without approval, provided a resolution of an $800+ gift card Now, the resolution is to provide a $gift card, because the initial regional manager did not speak within his authority Bottom line is that Tire Discounter's had no intention to acknowledge their dangerous service provided, and their attempt to resolve the issue with a $fix is unacceptable I place this complaint with the Revdex.com to ensure that someone does not get seriously hurt from services that Tire Discounter seems to believe only worthy of a $oversight
Tire availability varies from day to day at our stores, warehouses and 3rd party vendors We do our best to keep all tires in stock and ready for purchase for our customers Our stock is filled as much as possible for every sale we run The Tire Discounters website states our “deals” are for “in stock” tires only We apologize the Cooper tires were not available in stock, on the day Mr [redacted] called There was a huge rush with the sale and we sold our stock When we purchase tires from a 3rd party vendor, there is usually an additional fee for shipping We make great efforts to insure our marketing and advertising is honest and customer friendly

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. [To assist us in bringing this ***er to a close, we would like to know your view on the ***er.] Regards, I have attempted to repeatedly contact Mr. [redacted] to no avail. Now I simply want compensation for the last work done on my car and payment for the amount I had to pay another mechanic. This amount is $236.32 and the amount I paid to another mechanic of $52.32. I am not being unreasonable and feel that certainly I am owed at least this compensation.
