Review: This company keeps calling my mother with pre-recorded messages. She is on the nationa ldo not call list and I have never disclosed this number to them nor any other credit agency. I disputed the validity of their claim and asked them to stop calling, yet the continue to do so.Desired Settlement: For Stellar Recovery to stop the harassment of my mother along with an apology to her and a fine for 1st calling with prerecorded messages as well as calling someone on the do not call list.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our office has located a file in the name of [redacted] with an address of [redacted]. Based on this complaint, our office has ask for validation of this debt and have updated the mailing address, documents will be mailed out if available from the original creditor, if validation is not available, the file will be closed and returned to the original creditor. Stellar Recovery is a collection agency and not mandated by the "National do not call list." We however, do not want to call wrong numbers. Mr. [redacted] indicated that we may be calling his mother and leaving a pre-recorded message. The phone number for his mother was not provided in the complaint, we have removed all phone numbers we have relating to the file in our office and restricted any calls to be made to any of these numbers. If Mr. [redacted] has any additional questions, he is welcome to phone our office with concerns.

Review: Stellar Recovery continues to call my home looking for somebody that does not live here.

The calls started at the beginning of August 2014 and have continued through the month.

I have explained the person they are looking for does not live at my home and requested they remove me from their system.

They stated they would, but the calls keep coming.

On 8/27/14, I went to their website and submitted an online request for these calls to cease and desist, I am awaiting a reply from this.

The phone numbers they are calling from are:

###-###-####

###-###-####

###-###-####

I have also submitted a complaint with the Attorney General for assistance on 8/27/14 and have every intention to file in court if Stellar Recovery continues to call.Desired Settlement: I want Stellar Recovery to immediately cease and desist all contact and remover my number from their system.

I am requesting Stellar Recovery send a letter by mail to my home address for the following:

1. Acknowledging they are contacting the wrong person

2. Will immediately cease and desist all contact and permanently remove my number from their system.

If these terms are not met, I will file in court for a financial settlement

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] indicates we are calling a wrong number. The phone number of ###-###-#### was in our system and has been removed and placed into our internal do not call list. We apologize for the calls made but do not show any notification prior to the Revdex.com complaint.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and while I find that their employees failed to note my requests that they where contacting the wrong number on at least 3 different occasions and to cease and desist (common for collection agencies to dispute this to limit liability for lawsuits) and that their employees were unable to answer my question as to why my number was associated with an account that is was mine, I find that this resolution is of minimum satisfaction to me if no further phone calls are received.

I had requested in writing from this agency, mailed to my address, that they were contacting the wrong person and they are on notice to "cease and desist" contact and remove me from their calling list. This is not being provided and I am not satisfied with the agency for this part of my resolution.

Review: I settled with Stellar Recovery who was/is collecting on behalf of [redacted] Corp.

They promised me a letter of settlement, gave a confirmation number and a phone number where I could contact them.

It has been several months since these promises were made and I've yet to receive anything in regard to the matter. They do not answer the phone and I cannot see how to contact them via email. I simply want acknowledgement that the discrepancy has been handled.

.Desired Settlement: This is the only outstanding payment I have ever had and it has harmed my credit rating. My credit scores will jump significantly upon the recognition that this payment has cleared. I simply want something in writing that states my payment was received and that the issue is closed.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. We do show that the file in our office ([redacted]) is currently paid in full as of 03-12-2014. We show that a paid in full letter was requested and sent out to the address we had on file which was [redacted] on 04-30-2014. We have updated the address to the address on the Revdex.com complaint of [redacted]. We have forwarded a copy of the paid in ful letter both to that address and sent a copy to the email address provided in the complaint as well. We also have audited the credit reporting and show that the file is correctly reporting to all Credit Reporting agencies as paid in full with a zero balance.

Review: As part of an effort to collect a debt on behalf of [redacted], Stellar Recovery reported my debt to the credit reporting agencies in February of this year. The debt was paid in full in April of this year and was reported again to the credit reporting agencies in May of this year. It now appears on my credit reports twice and the debt in February still shows unpaid.Desired Settlement: I would like for the debt reported in February to show paid in full and for the debt reported in May to be withdrawn.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry submitted by [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] did pay the [redacted] account in our office, we show final payment was posted to the account on 05-09-2014. On 05-12-2014 our records also indicate that we reported to all Credit Reporting agencies that the file was paid in full. On 05-15-2014, we received a website inquiry from the consumer saying "his Experian report today was showing unpaid." Our administrative department reacted to his e mail by requesting a manual "paid in full request" to the Credit Reporting Agencies, confirmation # was [redacted]. We also performed a CBR audit today with all Credit Reporting Agencies and it did not indicate multiple notifications to any reporting agencies, only that the file was being reported as Paid in Full. If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns, he is welcome to contact [redacted] at ###-###-####, ext[redacted].

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Despite what their CBR audit shows (using acronyms and assuming the customer knows what they mean is rude) there are five entries spread over the three credit reporting agencies. I have cut and pasted them into the attached document. While some of them show a zero balance, they all say "unpaid." There should not be multiple reportings. All valid reportings should show a zero balance and paid in full. Until that is fixed I will not be satisfied.

Review: The above collection agency that I am filing against messed up my credit report not following the correct procedures. I used to work for [redacted] and after relocating to Texas, I was no longer with the company, they sent me a bill which was not correct and it was for over 130 dollars when my final bill was only 31 dollars therefore I called them to have the issue resolved which was in fact resolved and final bill was sent to for about 31 dollars after the adjustments. I was given time to pay the bill ie due date, this so called collection agencies (STELLAR ) went ahead to report inaccurate information ob both my [redacted] report on November 1st 2013 when the final bill received from [redacted] wasn't due at the time they falsely reported me to this credit bureau. I am therefore requested that this collection agency (STELLAR) COMPLETELY removed and delete from my credit reports the negative items that have been reported. The final of about 31 dollars was paid directly to my Comcast account online and was paid even before the due date. This agency have messed my credit and I am therefore requesting that they completely removed all negative items they have reported to my credit reports.Desired Settlement: This agency have messed my credit and I am therefore requesting that they completely removed all negative items they have reported to my credit reports.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 10-07-2013, our office did receive a past due Billings from [redacted] for this consumer for services at [redacted] showing a total of $102.29 due. On 10-17-2013, we received credit adjustments from [redacted] in the amount of $ 71.61, leaving a balance due of $30.68. Our records indicate that we spoke with [redacted] on 11-05-2013, he indicated that he was at work, couldnt pay at that time, but would pay on line that evening, we indicated the balance showing was $30.68. On 11-11-2013, we received notification from [redacted] of the payment of $30.68 and the file was closed. On 12-10-2013, our records indicate that [redacted] phoned into our office and spoke with one of our agents. The notes indicate that the consumer demanded that we remove this from the credit reporting agencies as this was not his fault and the fault of [redacted]. The call was then transfered to my office, I am the chief compliance officer. [redacted] was very loud, yelling and making threats to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and contact his attorney. I attempted to explain our policy with credit reporting, he refused to listen, only yell and make threats. If [redacted] would have been reasonable and stop yelling, we would have agreed to make contact with our client and get some clarification as to whether they were mistakes made on their end, the only thing this consumer wanted to do is yell. We have ask [redacted] about this file and there seems to be some errors in the billings. [redacted] emotional outbursts and refusal to discuss the situation reasonably is the reason why we did not attempt to assist him further with this file. I have ordered a manual AUD deletion for this file to all credit reporting agencies, confirmation number is [redacted]. The file is closed as paid in full.

Hi [redacted],

Review: Stellar Recovery has neglected to inform me of a past credit obligation. Instead they have reported a collection on my credit report and has not given me any notices regarding what the debt was, who it was from etc. They reported in 10/2013 as a "current" debt that went past due. I have not opened or better, went past due on any of my bills in the past 2 years. This is a violation of my credit rights under the fair credit reporting act and is preventing me to move on with other obligations I have.Desired Settlement: To remove the debt from my credit report.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records do indicate that a file in the name of [redacted] was placed into our office by [redacted] for Services at [redacted]. The file shows this account was charged off on 10-29-2012. We do not show that contact has been made with this consumer, at the point of contact, a letter is generated to the consumer. There is no requirement for the Collection Company to notify a consumer before reporting a collection account under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The Consumer was notified by the original creditor that Negative reporting may occur at the time of default. Since Mr. [redacted] seems to indicate that he doesnt believe he has any unpaid billings, we have marked the file as disputed. The file will be returned to [redacted] with the dispsute noted by the Revdex.com and all credit reporting has been ordered deleted, confirmation of the deletion request is [redacted], dated 02-25-2014. Mr. [redacted] is also welcome to contact [redacted] directly, the original file # associated with this claim is [redacted]. The file has been closed and returned to [redacted].

Review: I called Stellar Recovery in May to schedule a payment arrangement for May 22, 2013. I called on May 21, 2013 to cancel the payment because I couldn't honor the payment. They debited my account anyway. I have been trying to get my money back every since. On May 22nd, they told me it would be 7 to 10 business days. I called back 10 days later (June 5) because I hadn't receive my refund and I was told the refund hadn't been requested. I was then told it would be another 7 to 10 business days. I called back June 22nd and spoke to another supervisor. He took my credit card information again and told me to call him back today (June 24) at 10 am. I called and was told he was not in the office. I asked to speak to a higher authority and he told me he would try to get this handled for me. He told me it would be another 5 business days. I just need them to refund the money I asked them not to take in the first place. The reps are very rude and every one I talk to acts as if they are going to handle this issue for me but nothing gets done. I have spoken to several supervisors and no one has resolved this problem yet.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money refunded and have the account considered settled.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-04-2012, our office did receive a past due billing from [redacted] in the name of [redacted] for services at [redacted]. Our first conversation with this consumer was on 06-14-2012. On 04-29-2013, nearly one year later, arrangments were agreed to repayment of this account with 3 equal payments of $145.84 for 5-22, 06-19 and final payment on 07-17. We do note, that on 5-21-2013, the consumer did phone our office and demanded that we cancel the payment due the next day. The agent that originally approved the payment plan was advised to call the consumer on this file on 05-21-2013 but the call was never made and the scheduled payment did run on 05-22-2013 in the amount of 155.34. It further appears that the consumer phoned our office on 06-11 inquirying about the refund, the manager did notate the file of the refund request but we have been unable to locate the necessary paperwork that needed to be submitted. We have submitted the refund request and the payment has been reversed through our payment processing provider, the confirmation number for this processing is [redacted] and was completed on todays date. Because we have had this file since 2012 and have no resolution now on this file, we have closed the file as uncollectable and returned it to our client, [redacted]. If Ms. [redacted] wishes to resolve this account in the future, she will need to contact [redacted] directly. The refund request has been processed from our end, her banking institution will process the credit on her end.

This is still unresolved. I was told the refund would be received in 5 business days. today is the 6th business day and I have not received the refund. It has been over a month since I requested, not demanded, a refund and I have not received it.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received the response, we have verified that her bank has received this request, the delay is not on our part at this point. She should check with her financial institution on their procedures for the credit as it varies from institution to institution.

Review: I received a credit monitoring alert that I had a derogatory report. When I checked it was from Stellar recovery for $383 dollars. I have received no contact had been made by Stellar Recovery, therefore they should not be reporting to my credit. I do not know what this bill is for or that it is even mine.Desired Settlement: Remove the derogatory report from my credit, and provide clear explanation of what charges are so that I may know if they are valid and if the company even has the right person.

The response is inadquate. I took care of this this bill in 2011, and have asked that Stellar's derogatory report to my credit be removed. No compromise has been sought. I received a coded e-mail, but have not received anything in the actual mail from the company. I will not accept Stellar's response until they agree to remove their derogatory report.

Review: This Collection agency is representing Comcast. The company was claiming I had a pending bill from August 2011 from Comcast, they were saying that they received my account from Comcast in Nov 2014. When I called Comcast they mentioned I don't have any bills pending with them. I am surprised why they are trying to collect an item after 4 years. The company Stellar Recovery never contacted me nor has sent me any bills to my address. The total bill is $48 that they have reported. Even Comcast failed to provide a bill. Stellar placed this collection in my credit report without providing a letter (as required by law) indicating the charges and explaining my consumer rights. I am happy to pay any balance I may owe however I need a detailed bill as well as a letter from the collection agency as well as removed from my credit report immediately as my consumer rights have been violated. I have all the phone bills that can prove I never received any correspondence from stellar Recovery Company. they just messed up my credit report as they have access to it.Desired Settlement: I need a detailed bill as well as a letter from the collection agency as well as removed from my credit report immediately as my consumer rights have been violated nor was I granted or allowed DUE PROCESS.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. Our records indicate that we did receive a past due billing from Comcast on 11-23-2014 for a [redacted] for services at [redacted]. We show final billing on this account was made on 11-25-2011. We do not show contact made with this consumer until 02-23-2015 and the consumer informed our agent that this file was disputed and had not received any information from Stellar or from Comcast regarding this past due billing. The agent closed the file as disputed after the call and restricted further calls to the consumer and requested that the file be returned to the client. Based on the comments made to the Revdex.com, we have requested validation documents and have mailed those documents to the consumer at the new address provided in the complaint on [redacted] in [redacted]. All information is provided in these documents and the consumer is welcome to discuss the charges with Comcast as we have closed the file in our office, the original file number with Comcast is [redacted] and they indicate the current balance is $48.36.

Review: I was contacted 04/22/13 via phone by [redacted] whom notified me for the first time of an alleged debt with Stellar Recovery. I explained to her I am a victim of Identity Theft, she told me to contact the creditor. I submitted to Stellar Recovery, a copy of my police report and letter, certified mail, as a follow up to the phone conversion. On 05/09/13, I applied to refinance my car & was denied. On 05/13/13, I reviewed my Credit Report showing this fraudulent account being reported by said company since 05/01/13. I was never given a written Notice or allowed 30 days as required by the FDCPA to dispute. Stellar Recovery also intentionally reported inaccurate information violating FCRA, which resulted in my denial of credit. They acquired this account 04/08/13 and despite my conversation with [redacted] continued to report this fraudulent account. Today 05/13/13, I called & first spoke to [redacted] who confirmed I spoke to [redacted], 04/22. I explained they're in violation of the FCRA. He then put me on hold & had me talk to his manager [redacted]. I again had to explain the violations with his Dept. He brashly without confirmation of receipt, told me they did not have my Police Report of certified mail & will continue to report this inaccurate fraudulent information, disregarding my Consumer Rights, FDCPA and FCRA. He then aggressively and rudely told me to talk to [redacted], where once again, I was put on hold. [redacted], Manager answered and was kind enough to apologize for her department and FCRA violations. She stated immediate removal from the reporting agencies & agreed, it should not be reported at all. I then asked for the legal dept. & was transferred to [redacted], Chief Compliance Officer. Not only did [redacted] not take accountability for the obvious violations his company made, he did nothing to correct the negligence. In closing he admitted he would speak with the bank that denied me for refinancing and explain they made a mistake by reporting a fraudulent account.Desired Settlement: As a result of your actions, you've violated FCRA by reporting inaccurate information. This has cause me to be denied credit and has affected my livelihood. You have also violated the FDCPA (Notify the Consumer of Their Right to Dispute the Debt which must be done in writing within 5 days of contacting the consumer by telephone), and my right to dispute the debt within 30 day [15 USC 1692g] 809(a)As a result of these blatantly reckless actions, litigation is necessary for damages.

Response:

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-10-2013, Stellar Recovery was forwarded a past due billing from [redacted] in the name of [redacted] which dated back from 10-2010. On 04-22-2013, one of our agents spoke with Ms. [redacted] and she indicated this was a fraud account, the agent gave [redacted] fraud notification phone line, which is the procedure outlined by this client and noted the file. The agent also ask the consumer to forward any information to us regarding the fraud including a police report if one was available. There was no further contact made on this account and we have not received the fraud informtion from this consumer. The file was reported to the Credit Bureaus 04-30-2013. The consumer phoned into our office yesterday, 05-13-2013 and spoke to a manager and then to [redacted]. The consumer was very angry and indicated that she had mailed out a police report last Thursday, I indicated that we had not received the information. The consumer would not allow me to respond to any of her inquiries or questions, she only threatened. I indicated that we had processed a deletion on this file and we would forward her fraud documents to the client once we received them. I also indicated that, if necessary, I would explain the reporting to her Banker, if that was something she wanted us to do. The consumer indicated that she was unaware of this particular account, has dealt with fraud for a number of years, but never dealt with this particular issue, even though it had been to several agencies in the past. I attempted to let the consumer know that we have done whatever we could to assist her, she did not want to hear anything I was saying and continued to make threats. We have deleted the credit reporting and closed the file as fraud, we will forward the documents to our client when we receive them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9541416, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

In response to Stellar Recovery, they STILL violated the FDCPA and FCRA by 1) not sending written Notification to me of this account (5) days after initial contact. 2) Allow (30) days to validate this debt, after I disputed this account, with [redacted], due to Identity Theft on 04/22/13. 3) Reported this inaccurate information to the Credit Agencies a) without following Federal guidelines b) after well informed this account was fraudulent and being disputed.

All these actions by Stellar Recovery shows not only a lack of professionalism but also outlines the violations of FTC’s, FDCPA and FCRA, commenced by this company and their common practice. As a result, I suffered denial of credit and humiliation from this which caused mental anguish from this Company’s illegitimacy. Regardless, if this Company attempted to contact my bank, a credit inquiry was already done and another would cause more harm. Secondly, I never “threatened” as stated, if Stellar Recovery feels when a Consumer is well informed of their “Rights” and brings their ignorance and error to light, this is called “correction”. Lastly, closing this account and cease reporting it to the Credit Agencies is the correct action to take and I would expect no less. In closing, telling me, ‘not to be upset at this company, rather the Identity Thieves, by [redacted], Owner is circumventing taking responsibility of Stellar Recovery actions. Stellar Recovery fabricated facts and also denied to acknowledge not only my certified letter but also the emailed I to [redacted] sent with all mentioned documents as well.

All the above actions of violations are reasons why litigation is necessary so no other Consumer has to suffer these consequences as well of an investigation of Consumer Affairs, Revdex.com, Attorney General and FTC.

Review: THE FRAUDULENT ADDRESS USED FOR THIS ACCOUNT IS: [redacted]. I do not have an account number. This complaint is filed against Stellar Recovery for illegally submitting fraudulent information to the credit bureaus. Stellar Recovery never contacted me ([redacted]) in reference to this fraudulent account. I was contacted by the credit bureau with a credit alert message indicating this fraudulent account had been added to my credit report. The business in question is COMCAST! I have never done business with COMCAST before. I contacted COMCAST regarding this fraudulent account and they issued an escalation research ticket to have this account removed from my credit report upon receiving the documentation they requested from me. I have submitted, police report, affidavit of identity theft from the Federal Trade Commission and proof of residence, along with the necessary identification to have this fraudulent account removed. I am asking Stellar Recover to remove this account from my credit reports. THIS ACCOUNT DOES NOT BELONG TO ME! PLEASE REMOVE THIS ACCOUNT TO AVOID ANY FURTHER LEGAL OR CIVIL ACTION. I WILL ALSO FILED A COMPLAINT AS STELLAR RECOVERY WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE AS AN ATTEMPT TO HAVE THIS FRAUDULENT ACCOUNT REMOVED. I have no account number listed on my credit report from this agency. Therefore the account can be found by the fraudulent address listed above in this complaint.Desired Settlement: PLEASE REMOVE THIS FRAUDULENT ACCOUNT FROM MY CREDIT REPORTS. AND NO FURTHER ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN!!!!

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of an inquiry submitted to the Revdex.com by [redacted]. Our records indicate that on 12-24-2014, our office did receive a file from Comcast in the name of [redacted] (SS # ending in [redacted]) for services at [redacted]. A demand letter was mailed out on 12-27-2014 to the address we had on this file in [redacted]. We show no contact has been made with the consumer until today. Mr [redacted] called into our office and indicated to our agent that he was a victim of fraud and was calling to inform our office. The agent, based on the information received from the consumer, closed the file as a" possible fraud"account. This file was closed and will be returned to our client as a fraud alert file. The credit reporting is automatically deleted upon marked as fraud, the confirmation number for deletion is [redacted], dated today,s date. Our agent properly handled the consumers notification of fraud. The file is closed in our office and returned to our client, Comcast.

Review: Stellar Recovery, Inc filed a collection claim against me on behalf of [redacted] for an account that I closed in 2006/2007. When I cancelled my [redacted] account, they immediately sent my past due balance to a collections agency because, as they said at the time, it was their standard practice. After resolving the past due balance issue directly with [redacted], I was able to have the collection claim removed from my credit reports. In May 2013, Stellar Recovery filed a collection claim against me with the credit agencies for the same account that had been resolved 6+ years ago. I have filed two disputes with the reporting credit agency to have this matter resolved and removed from my credit report, and both times Stellar Recovery has refused to remove the claim without any justification regarding why.Based on other Revdex.com reports, I can only surmise that Stellar Recovery was recently given a number of old [redacted] accounts to pursue. Because this is the same collection claim as that was made in 2006/2007, but they are reporting it as being made for the first time in 2013, Stellar Collections has put themselves in the position of violating the Fair Credit Reporting Act by re-aging an old collection claim, that also happens to have been resolved previously.Desired Settlement: Remove the collection claim from the reported credit agencies.

July 15, 2013

Review: I Received a letter dated 4/10/2013, but not until May 7, 2013, which is duly noted by the Post Office. I responded by Fax on May 10 2013, 3 days later, which was within the 30 days time frame that you have to refute any debt, this is clearly written on their letter. I pulled my credit Bureaus and found that this debt, that had not been confirmed as of yet was placed on all 3 Bureaus, starting in April of 2013. I have contacted them on a number occasions and was promised that they would have this removed and a letter sent out to me, stating that this should have not been sent before it was confirmed. We also agreed to resolve this without the matter going any further. Well I received a letter dated July 3, 2013 today, which is July 9, 2013 and it was not a letter telling me that this debt was being taken off my credit, but it stated not until said debt is paid in full, would this debt be removed from your credit report. That is not what I was promised by phone speaking with [redacted], the Director of Operation on July 2, 2013, he and I had came to an agreement and I explained to him that his company must confirm this to me in writing. Well today, he became very upset, and stated he had no such letter to send. And that I was just coming up with excuses. I was the person to contact this company when I was made aware they were trying to contact me, not the other way around.Desired Settlement: I would like them to honor what [redacted] and I agreeded on I will honor what is needed to resolve this matter. My husband had Open Heart Surgery, which is what has caused said issues. This Debt is with 53rd Bank and has been turned over 3 times to collection companies without my knowledge, since the debt was being paid. This company had no right to submit something to the credit Bureas before I was notfied and given a right to refute said debt.

Response:

Stellar Recovery has received the complaint filed by [redacted]. On 04-09-2013, our office did received a past due billing from original creditor 5th-3rd bank. The demand letter with validation requirements was mailed to the consumer on 04-10-2013. We have completed an investigation of this file. We have received letters from the consumer, spoken with her several times and mailed out several different letters at the request of Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] alleged that our agents indicated that the credit reporting would be deleted at several different stages of this complaint and agreed to send out a letter to that effect. We have reviewed several of the phone conversations and we dont see any indication that she was told the credit reporting would be deleted except for reasons promigated by her but reversed based on conversations with her. No letter could be promised that said the account would be deleted except our letter that indicates that deletion does occur upon being paid in full, our letters are set by policy and we do not send out unscripted letters, only those in our data base. We did receive a letter from Ms. [redacted] on 05-10-2013, She indicated she was unaware that the file was sent to Stellar and wanted payments, we sent out a "partial Payment letter agreeing to payments on the account." We spoke to the consumer again on 06-24, she was upset about the "PPA" letter saying she never agreed to partial payments? Consumer then demanded validation of the debt to our agents and validation was ordered, during this validation period, deletion would be ordered. On 7-1, consumer again called our office claiming deletion was not performed, deletion had been ordered during the validation period. On 07-03, we again spoke with the consumer and she indicated she wanted to settle on the file over a period of 6 months, she ask for a letter, this took the file out of validation and active again as a letter was requested for payment, she also indicated that our agent said deletion would be done, we do not find from any of the recordings that occured with any of our agents that she spoke to. Threats were made on several occasions that she was filing complaints to the FTC and other agencies. We believe that Ms. [redacted] is determined to have this removed from her credit report but we are not convinced that she is really willing to take care of the matter with Stellar Recovery. We have ordered validation per her request, we have agreed to monthly payments and sent out a letter to that effect, we have agreed to an 80% settlement with payments on the account and sent a letter to that effect and multiple Agents have attempted to answer her questions and concerns, for that reason, I have closed the file as disputed and we will order deletion of the credit reporting. We do own this file and it will remain in dispute and not be re-sold. Ms. [redacted] will need to allow time for the Credit Reporting Agencies to process this request. This file is closed as disputed.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

This is an e-mail verifying that information at the Credit Bureaus will be deleted and the file closed in there office, per [redacted]. I received this today at 12:16pm 7/15/2012

Since this file will be closed by company and all three Credit Bureaus will be notified and deleted I feel we have completed this complaint. Thank you [redacted]l, and the Revdex.com, along with [redacted] for expediting this matter, let's just hope the Credit Bureaus delete information from my record just as fast as they put it on.

calling asking for different people looking to get money for a so called debt.. nobody owes.Bogus and harrassing...rude and argumentative. I told them to stop calling the guy I spoke with tonight said he would stop only after I threatened to call law inforcement and the Revdex.com ftc. When is the Goverment going to stop these harrassing calls and people trying to hijack your money accts. etc.

I am 18 years of age, having turned 18 in late January. Since late February, this company has called me upwards of 50 times. I am currently in no debt, and do not even own a credit card. I am at a loss as to why these people continue to call, especially my cell phone, which I do not know how they received my number in the first place.

Review: This company has made numerous Robotic prerecorded duplicated message calls, to my cell phone, from similar local numbers. They ask for a return the call to another 877 number that belongs to this collection agency.

This started on 3/10/14, continued for 5 straight days, twice one of those days, and then stopped. Since I don't have any outstanding overdue debt/billings, I thought they had realized their mistake. Then, yesterday, 3/25/14, I received another call like the previous six calls.

This prerecorded request sounds suspicious, improper, and I could barely understand it the first few times. The harassing nature of this makes me very suspicious of a return call to the other 877 phone number, particularly when this company appears to have numerous complaints against them. These have all been robotic calls. My phone number is unlisted. I have never disclosed my home phone number to them. I have no collections history or complaints. I have the dates and times of the most recent 7 Robotic calls made to my home phone since Mar 10, 2014.

I believe Stellar Recovery has obtained my phone number in error since I have no outstanding overdue debts/billings.Desired Settlement: For Stellar Recovery, Inc. to stop contacting me. I am requesting that my phone number be removed from their automated call list.

Stellar Recovery is in receipt of a complaint filed by [redacted] regarding a wrong number being called. The phone number of ###-###-#### was in our system and we have called the number on numerous occasions since March 4-2014. The phone number was a number associated with a [redacted]. We have removed the phone number as a wrong number and have placed the number into our internal "do not call" list in case the number is placed into our system in the future. We apologize for the wrong number calls.

Review: I was told from Comcast cable that my bill was going to be reduced because I had canceled service in the middle of the month. I did not have a contract with Comcast. I paid my balance off in full and found out the following month there was an additional $60 charge that Comcast states that its for data usage after I canceled. I made a few calls to Comcast and they stated they couldn't find the record for the data usage. I thought this was taken care of. I have confirmation number of where I paid in full to Comcast. I received a phone call a few months later from a company who told me they were Comcast and I had to pay the money owed or it was going to collections and it would be put on my credit. I paid what I didn't owe to prevent this and Stellar Recovery has reported it on my credit. I found out later this was Stellar Recovery not Comcast when I checked my credit. I do not deal with collection companies. I specifically asked if this was Comcast and was told yes. I should not have had a balance and would have never dealt with Stellar Recovery on this matter. Stellar Recovery also told me I owed $60.00 and on my credit it shows $228.Desired Settlement: I would like this removed off my credit file. I paid something I did not owe to prevent this from my credit file and was given misleading information.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I did not contact stellar recovery. I received a phone call from a person stating they were Comcast cable and I would be reported to credit company if I did not pay $60 they thought I owed. I paid directly to Comcast. I would not have spoken with a collection company. They gave me false and misleading information and I was never sent a letter of amount owed. I had been in contact with Comcast and when returning my equipment to Comcast was under the impression that I would be receiving a refund for my account being prorated. My account was in good standing in October. Stellar never commented on the lies that were told about their identity and states I contacted them in their response. I contacted Comcast cable. Stellar recovery contacted me and I was told they were Comcast. I would like the recorded conversation ,proof of where I contacted stellar recovery, verification of the amount owed , and verification that this meets the fair credit reporting act. In stellar recoverys response, they do not address the fact that they gave false information about who they were and misleading information. Stellar recovery needs to remove this from my credit file for all 3 reporting credit companies. I was told this was not going to collection or reporting if I paid the amount comcast thought I owed. I paid the amount and then I see they reported false information.

Review: I have never received any debt notice from this collection agency. I have paid Dish directly. The only reason I became aware of this collections was because I had checked my credit report. I never received any debt validation from the agency.Desired Settlement: I request this collection account to be removed from my credit report.

Revdex.com,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Stellar

recovery’s response does not remedy why I initiated my complaint. I recently started

monitoring my credit and that is how I found that I owed a debt.... I

paid in full to Dish directly and I never authorized Dish to share my information

to any third party. My current and legal address is not [redacted]. I have never received any correspondence or debt notice from Stellar

Recovery. This is causing a financial hardship and needs to be deleted from my

credit report promptly. I will not considered this complaint closed until it is

removed from my credit reports and I receive notification that it has been

removed.

Response:

First of all, I never got a bill from them. Secondly, I never had Dish Services at the address that they stated in the response. Furthermore, Dish Network customer service has recorded that this account is a zero balance and it will removed from my credit... this was when I called in the payment.

Review: Stellar Recovery Systems Took over my debt July 20th 2015. They didn't notify me of this. I received no letter of a debt transfer, of my new account number and where to send my payments to. Prior to this I was making regular payments to [redacted]. When I did speak with a representative from Stellar he admitted that no letter was ever sent. I found out through credit karma that alerted me I had new accounts on my credit report. I was shocked to see not only 1 account from them but 2. One listed as Stellar Recovery and a second under SRI. Both accounts for [redacted], both for the same amount. I called and of course they offered to remove 1 account, not even apologizing for any damage that it is going to have on my credit. For the past 2 years I have focused on cleaning my credit, Had I been notified which they are legally responsible to do. Then I would have made my payments to them. Not only was I not notified I was not given a chance to pay this company to avoid this debt from reaching my credit. Sometime people get into bad situations, but when they get themselves out they do make things right again. Which is what I have been doing. SO for this company to be so nasty and break the law really upsets me.Desired Settlement: Correction to my credit report, showing companies error,

once paid in full complete removal from credit report and a positive mark from company.

Review: Stellar Recovery has been calling my home looking for my ex-husband for a long time. I initially gave them all the information I had a couple of years ago, now the calls have continued. My ex-husband has not lived at this address since 2007 and died over a year ago. I have spoken to a representative on two occasions requesting my information be removed, and was told it would. Now the calls have doubled and is upsetting my child when she hears her father's name mentioned on the answering machine. I spoke with another representative today. This is turning into a harassment issue now.Desired Settlement: I want my name, address, and telephone number removed permanently.
