I am rejecting this response because:       The Priceline advertisement is subliminal.  It entices with a sense of assuredness that is not sincere.  As a novice "online" consumer,  I was unaware of this rigid structure.  My concern was to modify the dates I had chosen for car rental, because a mistake had been made. There should be an opportunity for redress, but I could not contact them.  Their system is not responsive to inquiry.  Priceline ignored the $22.00 for collision insurance they charged.  Since the dates requested were wrong, I made a commitment to continue their service. Therefore, how can they sequester $61.44 for a "need" they did not fulfill?

I am rejecting this response because:This is a deceptive practice.  While researching hotels in [redacted] on the website, the specific area is listed in parentheses, in my case ([redacted]).  The given hotel is listed as ([redacted]).  I looked at all hotels listed as ([redacted]) before attempting the name your price option and expected any hotel I was given to have that distinction.  Again, I reiterate, VERY deceptive practice!

Bureau concern in our Executive Offices. We understand that you are requesting for a full refund of your tickets.  The terms, conditions, including the fare rules of your tickets, were presented to you for review before booking. As stated on your contract, free cancellation was only available until 11:29pm EDT of November 4, 2016.  Our ability to assist you and option(s) we can provide is based on the fare rules of your reservation. The fare rules dictate whether the ticket(s) can be cancelled, refunded or exchanged. The fare rules is being governed by the airline. Since your carrier is the merchant of record for your ticket, all exchange and cancellation fees are passed along to the airline. As a travel agency, we have to abide by the airline-imposed fare rules. We have reached out to Delta Air Lines and requested an exception on your behalf. We apologize; however, they denied our request. As per fare rules, your tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The only option they can allow is to re-book the reservation for a fee of $200 per ticket, and you will be responsible for the fare difference. I am rejecting this response because:This was an "Express Deal" and not a name your own price deal.  In addition, Priceline does not provide a complete  listing of the hotels that are within the selected area with the grading for the hotels that you may be accepting the purchase.  By not having a complete listing you can only go by what is listed as available on their website.   By not having a listing the consumer has no information on which hotels fall with the star rating that you are agreeing to reserve a room with.    In addition, the hotel which was an express deal was not even listed on their website.  So the assumption is that you will be awarded one of the hotels that is currently showing on Priceline with the star rating shown.   As stated before, I have  gone into the Priceline website and I have not found this hotel listed as being available to reserve a room from.

We reviewed your reservation and verified you were a no show. The hotels General Manager, Annie advised you attempted to check in earlier than the hotels normal check in time, 3:00 PM. The hotel advised they were not sold out on the dates of your travel because your reservation was not until 3:00 PM local hotel time on March 4, 2017. Please note that check in and check out times vary depending on the hotel. In normal circumstances, your reservation is non refundable. As a one-time exception to the cancel policy, a full refund of 62.16 USD was issued on April 13, 2017. Thank you for responding to my concern.  From the time that I knew I wouldn't be able to fly I immediately called customer service line for Priceline to let them know that I did not feel safe to fly in my condition. Rightly so, I was coughing and dizzy and very very weak, I drove myself to [redacted] Hospital emergency room and was seen by the attending physician on call,  although the physician said I wasn't contagious, I ran a fever of 102-103, I informed the nurses as well as the physician to descibe that I couldn't make my flight because of it. They provided me with an excuse as well as what my symptoms were.  I would have called Priceline right after I got back home, if they had said that. I was more than grateful for that. The medication was [redacted] with [redacted] so from the time I left the emergency room , waiting to get the presciption filled I was incoherent and just wanted to go to bed. I was bedridden for at least five days, I have the documentation from the hospital stating were I was and who the physicain was, and the hospital bill as well as the prescriptions.   I am asking Priceline to refund me the money, or credit for future travel, since they stated that they would.
