That being said, we have closed these accounts with our office and are instructing the Credit Reporting Agency (CRA) to delete the accounts. Please note that we cannot control the speed in which the CRA acts upon our request and we recommend giving them at least thirty (30) days to update their records. My payment was cleared to a utility company and when I asked for a receipt from the collection agency one was denied. The transaction receipt from my HSA is attached. As you can see who it was not sent to [redacted] Hospital. Any legal transaction a receipt is provided. The other statement from this agency also raised red flags. They asked me not to pay [redacted] directly.

the validation period provided under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, we immediately placed the accounts on hold upon receipt of the correspondence and requested validation from our creditor-client. Ms. [redacted] disputes owing both accounts in question. She indicates she filed her complaint because CCS is not licensed as a collection agency in her state. Please be assured that Ohio does not have a licensing requirement for debt collectors. Ms. [redacted] is requesting that CCS remove both accounts from her credit report; however, Ms. [redacted] provides no basis for this request.
