I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The response does not offer any resolution, and is factually incorrect. It says my daughter last tanned in 2013, which is not only incorrect, but not what was stated in the complaint. I stated that she last tanned in May, 2016, and did not tan at all during the months for which we were wrongfully charged, June and July, 2016.If the company needs more information, that is fine. The member, my daughter, is [redacted], and her d.o.b. is [redacted]. I would like to add that once again I was promised a phone call from a District Manager by Monday, July 18, 2016 at 5:00, and, not surprisingly, I am still waiting for that call.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be semi satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. I also strongly suggest that they are upfront with there members by letting them know they may experience delays in using other sun tan city's outside of their normal area, also major upgrades to the mobile app that allowed me to check into salons in Missouri and that the salons in Missouri actually receive my reservation.

I have received the complaint from [redacted] regarding her membership, purchase with Sun Tan City. On April 23rd, 2015 [redacted] purchased a month to month open-ended agreement that allowed her...
once a day tanning services at our [redacted] for $22.99 per month plus tax. Per the membership agreement that was signed in the salon by [redacted] all Sun Tan City memberships require at least one automatic payment before the client is able to cancel the membership and there are no refunds for unused services. As of November 2nd, 2016 [redacted] membership with Sun Tan City was terminated. Per the document that we have on file for [redacted] it states that we do not refund for unused services. If [redacted] cancelled, she would have been provided a confirmation form, stating no further payments would process. Without a proof of cancelation, a refund request would be denied. Per the District Manager of the [redacted] location, we would be able to submit a half and half refund request. Where half of [redacted] request would be processed back to her card, and the other half would be processed to a Glow Card. Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that [redacted] will continue to utilize our services. Once Ms. [redacted] issue was received, Sun Tan City quickly took the appropriate actions to ensure this issues was address and corrected to help eliminate this from happening in the future. In addition, Sun Tan City has contacted Ms. [redacted] by phone and agreed to refund Ms. [redacted] the requested $40.32 in form of a check to the address confirmed by Ms. [redacted]. Ms. [redacted] was satisfied with this resolution and our records indicate Ms. [redacted] has continued her tanning services with Sun Tan City. Sun Tan City has terminated this membership to avoid any further charges to [redacted] and submitted a refund request in the amount of $240.66 that will be refunded back to [redacted] debit or credit card information. I have received the complaint from Ms. [redacted] regarding his membership, purchase with Sun Tan City. Ms. [redacted] does not have to start a new membership to unfreeze her account. It will unfreeze at the rate that she originally froze. In order to unfreeze, you have to pay the prorated amount to gain those $5.00 credits back. If the client cancels a frozen membership for any reason, those credits are then cancelled as well. Once the account is unfrozen, those freeze credits can be used for anything Sun Tan City related. It does not have to be for memberships, or tanning sessions. Loyal customers are the key to any company’s success so it is my hope that Ms. [redacted] will continue to utilize our services. We have reviewed the response from Ms. [redacted] regarding her account with Sun Tan City.
Upon further review, a refund request was submitted for Ms. [redacted] for the other half of her unused services. This refund will go through a process of review and if at any time Ms. [redacted] would like to check the status of her refund she is welcome to do so.
We hope that is fully resolves Ms. [redacted]'s issue and if we can be of any further assistance, please let us know.

I do not accept nor agree with the the business settlement on this matter. In regards to the automatic charge, this was done on June 1st for the month of June. We purchased this service on the 15th of April, and told the sales person that we were only going to use it until May 1st when we went on our Cruise. If the company can afford to give a Service settlement of $83 to be used at their Business, they can afford to refund the amount for unused services. This is more of a punishment for not continuing to use their service than a settlement for withdrawing funds from our account knowing that we would be out of town and probably not notice it.

I am glad to read that randy has admitted that they cancelled/transferred my membership to zoom tan but what about the over 2 years of payments they took out of my bank account when I never used their services as there was no place to go to use them.I expect a full refund of all the money that was taken from me.[redacted]
