right on the credit card page, that subscription will renew if she doesn't cancel it. And then as a courtesy to her we have issued her a pro-rated refund on the last transaction, even before receiving a complaint from Revdex.com.    We attached the file where you can clearly see, that Tracey agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.   We consider this matter is closed.

no indication that she will be charged recurring transactions until she will cancel the subscription is not correct. We state it on the Helpdesk message we have sent to her (see the screenshot “Helpdesk Message”) and on the Roomster Receipt (see the screenshot “Receipt”) She requested a pro-rated refund and she charged us back through the [redacted]. Even though we have a money back guarantee policy, she still charged us back. At this point, she was not eligible for a pro-refund and we had to dispute a chargeback. We consider this matter is closed and waist of Revdex.com’s time.

days - $14.95 30 days - $45.95   Her statement, that we have declined a refund is not true. As a courtesy to her we have issued prorated refund even before we have received a letter from the Revdex.com. (see screenshot “Billing” and “Helpdesk”)   We consider this matter is closed and waist of Revdex.com time.

We state it very clear that the subscription will be renewed unless customer will cancel the subscription before scheduled renewal will take place (see screenshot “Receipt”). Also we have a “Money back guarantee” policy ([redacted]), she just had to use “request a pro-rated refund” link. And she would receive a pro-rated refund immediately.    But as a courtesy to her we have issued a full refund of the last transaction.    Customer Service [redacted] RE: Roomster refund completed   Good news! Your full refund in the amount of $45.95 has been credited to your account. You have been issued a credit back for the remaining days left on your subscription. Please note you were charged only for the days that you had full member access up until the time of cancelation of your subscription. You should see your credit back in your account within a few business days. We welcome your business in the future and hope that we have provided you excellent customer service.   We consider this matter is closed.

To Whom It May Concern:We received Revdex.com complaint letter with assigned ID [redacted].  After checking our records one more time, we could not locate user with the name  [redacted] or email ([redacted]) in our system.We are unable to process request for refund unless we know the name or email address that user registered with or first 4 and the last 4 digits of the credit card that was used to purchase the subscription.Thank you,Roomster Team

I only ordered and authorized a subscription for 3 days not one month. Roomster carefully hid fine print that tricked me into paying for one month that I would not have agreed to if it had been in plain sight. I would like a full refund of the $45 that I did not agree to pay for for a service that I did not want for a whole month. I only wanted the service for three days which I agreed to and paid for.

This may be an affiliate who is doing this, we however are not. We have a clear warning to all affiliates not to do this. If you have any links or information that we can look at we will investigate and take action right away![redacted]

This complaint, is not as black and white as Rosie C[redacted] claims. She has signed up and upgraded her account several times. When she first signed up on 6/**/2015 2:53:55 PM she canceled her own subscription on 6/**/2015 4:58:06 PM and did not get renewed at all. She purchased...

another subscription on */*/2015 4:46:33 PM on 11/*/2015 4:36:14 PM she contacted us because she had created another account and could not figure out why she could not access her messages. we advised her "You created an account on Roomster using [redacted] Login that is linked to [redacted], so click "Login with [redacted]" and make sure you are signed into your [redacted] account that is linked to [redacted] "Without contacting us, she charged us back on the last charge $2*.*5 via [redacted]. We since issued another refund for $2*.*5. The customer states that she is seeking a refund for $80.00, however we only charged her $5*.*0 in renewals, which she has already been refunded, so we consider this matter closed.
Had she contacted us directly, the outcome of a refund would have been the same, leaving the Revdex.com time to deal with more important matters.

[redacted] never contacted Roomster's 24/7 customer service help desk, but went straight to the Revdex.com. Had she contacted us directly we would have told her that we do not post anything on [redacted] and we do not have control over what people post on other sites. We would also would have issued a refund, had she asked.Because of our excellent level of customer service we have issued a refund of $14.95 to [redacted]VI; [redacted]xp. 07/2016; Issuer: CHASE BANK USA, NATIONAL ASSOC Name: [redacted]; Address: [redacted]This has been a waste of the Revdex.com's time. To Whom It May Concern: We received a Revdex.com customer complaint letter from [redacted].   When she contacted the helpdesk, account representative has responded yo her. Her conclusions are incorrect. We remove all active profiles every 30 days. Members are able to login, re-activate and edit...

their profiles when they need our services. We have seen this trend happen many times over and over again throughout the years. It is up to  each member to update their profile information when they start using the site again. We can not force our members to email her. It is possible the issue is with her search and criteria. We have no way of knowing if she makes for a desirable roommate or if the rent she is asking is fair in her market.   She canceled her subscription after scheduled renewal took place (see screenshot “Billing”), even though she was informed that she has to cancel her subscription before Wednesday, September 07, 2016 to prevent any future billing (see screenshot “Receipt”).  All charges were authorized. She agreed to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You sent me a reciept the 3rd day after you had already charged me something I did not agree too! This is terrible business and I want a refund! I can not believe how rude and dismissive your customer service is. It is not right! I did not agree! I am telling you right now I still do not agree and you are stealing. I see there are many class actions being discussed about this company and I believe that is a great idea. I want a refund and you better not take out any other payments as well or I will contact my attorney for your false advertising and theft.

I am sorry that [redacted] had a bad experince on Roomster, but we are not a scam and do not have control over [redacted] scammers who have infiltrated our site in the past and have created fake accounts. We do everything we can to reduce the presence of scammers on Roomster, We just removed all [redacted] and [redacted] login because we were seeing scammer accounts in high numbers being created using those logins on Roomster. Is [redacted] and [redacted] not the ones who are really responsible for letting spammers create these social logins?We now rely 100% on [redacted] login to protect our users and keep our site scammer free. Roomster is not a scam and we are offended by [redacted]'s comments. We have issued a 100% credit to [redacted]'s credit card. [redacted]xxxx We consider this matter closed.

he was not aware that he will be charged recurring transactions until he will cancel the subscription is not correct. We state it on the Helpdesk message we have sent to him (see the screenshot “Helpdesk Message 1”) and on the Roomster Receipt (see the screenshot “Receipt”).   He was able to cancel his subscription, and he did it AFTER scheduled renewal took place. (see the screenshot “Billing”).   We had never send him an email that he will receive a full refund, he was allegeable for a pro-rated refund. (see the screenshot “Helpdesk Message 2”)   He requested a pro-rated refund and he charged us back through the PayPal, even though we have a money back guarantee policy. He charged us back but we still issued him a full refund, even though he wasn’t allegeable for it, and we did it even before receiving this letter from Revdex.com.   So ALL his statements are falls.      We consider this matter is closed and waist of Revdex.com’s time.

I signed up for a 3 day trial only for 5.95. before the 3 days was up they had taken 45.95 out of my account as well. claiming I signed up for a 'subscription'. I did not do so. they stole my money from me. there is no customer service number to call to speak to an actual person. I emailed them and got a very rude response (seemed even automated) saying they would report me to creditors and my bank if I didn't pay the amount owed. it was already paid! they took it out of my account without my permission! this is not a real company and they provided no real service. I did not find a roommate, nor did I even have one legitimate connection in finding a roommate. I have now spent approximately $60 for nothing. I work for minimum wage! I am so upset and feel so violated by this 'company'. it is simply a scam and should be put out of business immediately.

card would be renewed at the monthly rate of $29.95 unless he elect to cancel his subscription. It in standard size letters above the credit card authorization button so that it complies with Law. His statement that we don’t warn our customers about future renewals is false. We sent out an email to "[redacted]" and another message in his onsite help desk at 8/**/2015 5:52:54 PM.However, because we are a good company and in an effort to provide excellent customer service we issued a credit for the last charge of $29.95 before he even contacted the Revdex.com. Also we have issued 2 previous transactions. Please find attached screenshots of his actual credit card page.With the credit issued and our case proven, We consider this matter closed.Tell us why here...
