Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] I have received messages on my answering machine at home left by a representative of rigid during business hours.I have responded to them by email that I work M-F and I am not at home during these hours to receive or return tbere calls.I am not sure what they need to help them resolve this I bought there product and registered it and have received new batteries for the product under the warranty once already I took my batteries to the Home Depot in Duncan, bc like I was suppose to and the batteries are defective I've complied with all requirements of the warranty program [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I don't appreciate Mr [redacted] 's overwhelmingly nasty, arrogant, and holier-than-thou approach to his handling of my valid and reasonable complaintHe is unapproachable, unpleasant, and too smug to be of pleasant assistance.The complaint indicated that the brush was used as directed on furniture and plasticsFrom there, he erroneously assumed that I was using the brush on "delicates"Regardless of whatever he defines as "delicates", he has neglected to define the term.He then blamed me, the victim, in this matterHe wrote, "However, they did indicate that scratching could be the result of debris (i.e., stones, glass, dirt) that is buiin the brush and then used on a delicate surface without cleaning it first."That's insulting to my intelligenceOf course I already knew to clean and how to clean the brush from debrisThat's an outrageous distraction from the product's inherently inferior design[redacted] then admitted that the brush was designed so poorly that some materials would incur scratchesHe wrote, "While the product is perfect for a variety of applications...some materials or applications may require the use of a horse hair brush (available from other manufacturers)"RIDGID's manual fails to indicate that there are horse hair brushes available from other manufacturersRIDGID's manual, websites, and advertisements omit such an important warning.His "friendly" warning was too late.In fact, [redacted] sent me a link to The [redacted] webpage for the item in question, and on the webpage, it's advertised as follows: "Brush vacuum accessory designed for delicate surface cleaning"Notice the adjective delicateThat's advertising for certainAnd it's coming directly from RIDGID.Everything that it is advertised for usage with - dashboards, keyboards, blinds - it would certainly scratch.Another problem is that the circular brush unit is coming detachedYou know, RIDGID could offer me a refund by check in the amount of $ Regards, [redacted]

Hello Upon receiving this complaint, we immediately contacted the customer via phone to learn about the situation and find a resolution During the call we learned - and the customer verbally confirmed - that he did not register his products within days of purchase, per the terms of
conditions of the Lifetime Service Agreement (displayed in-store, online and on product) Nonetheless, in our effort to resolve this complaint, we proposed to try and offer additional assistance if the customer provided us with his purchase receipts He verbally refused to provide us with the receipts Given the timing and inability to provide proof of purchase, we are unable to register his products for the Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) His products will still come with standard manufacturer's warranties

Hello After receiving this complain, we contacted the customer to discuss the issue and identify a resolution The customer is sending his tool into us for repair, which was the mutually agreed upon resolution The tool will be returned to the customer once repairs are completed

Hello The RIDGID Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) has been an industry-exclusive service that we've been offering for over a decade
Over this time, the terms and conditions of the program have never changed We try to make the process as easy as possible for our customers through an online registration site In order to qualify for the LSA, products must be registered within days of purchase This program is very similar to other consumer products such as vacuums and appliances A limited warranty usually comes standard, but to extend that warranty or service agreement, registration is required. To make the registration process clear, we place instructions in a variety of places Attached you'll find some examples: on the actual product packaging, on a leaflet that comes inside EVERY RIDGID product, on RIDGID.com (the manufacturer's website), and on the registration site We, the manufacturer, cannot control what the retailer has (or does not have) on their website (in this customer's example, *** *** Canada's website) Unfortunately, despite these many notices and instructions, the customer didn't register for the Lifetime Service Agreement within the required day period Additional information and helpful videos on the Lifetime Service Agreement are available at https://www.ridgid.com/us/en/three-year-limited-lsa
