Ms. [redacted],                 Once again, Gillece Services LP greatly appreciates the hard work this organization puts in for all consumers! We can only imagine how difficult your jobs may be at the Revdex.com.                 Unlink many companies; Gillece prides their selves on the legal contracts set forth between the homeowner and company. Attached, you will find a copy of the signed addendum to Mr. [redacted]’s original invoice. This addendum clearly states that the scope of work will be modified. Mr. [redacted] signed that document at the bottom of the page (dated 11/27/2016).                 It is obvious that Mr. [redacted] is a professional gentleman, and I am sure he is more than aware that his signature on that form clearly shows he was aware of his responsibilities as the homeowner. We cannot understand how this matter is still going on. Our paperwork shows that Mr. [redacted] was fully aware of all work to be completed, and the adjustments made through the installation process.                 I am surprised that a professional business person; such as, Mr. [redacted], would think the use of threats would make this situation end his favor. The uses of threats are not something Gillece would like to be a part of. We strongly base our response off of the facts. Our facts are listed out on the signed documentation by Mr. [redacted].                 Gillece Services’ offer stands with the last response. We have refunded the cost of repairs to the dog fence, and we will send a professional out to evaluate and repair the concrete patio. At this time, Gillece Services has nothing more to offer this client. Best, Amanda S[redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,    We thank you for allowing us to respond to this complaint. We understand there are 2 sides to the story. We appreciate you allowing us to tell ours. First I would like to apologize in advance, as most companies were in the area we were very busy trying to service all...

of our clients. This is mostly made up of our thousands of service partners plan customers. Unfortunately we were unable to help everyone, and even though our goal is to do so, sometimes it does not happen.  I have reviewed the clients account and would like to point out that the unit had 5 years labor warranty, of which that expired in 2015. The manufacture offers a 10 year parts warranty, but that is not a Gillece warranty. (Please see contract below). Again we apologize for not making it on time, but at this time we will not reimburse because there is no warranty on this unit.

As a starting place, please have customer provide: (1) the name of the other plumbing company; (2) a copy of the invoice/work order from the other plumbing company; (3) a written copy of all findings of the other plumbing company; (4) a written copy of all recommendations made by the other plumbing...

company; and (5) any other relative or associated information from the other plumbing company.

Thank you for allowing us to clear up the matter with the client. We understand that there are 2 sides to every concern. The client purchased a furnace from us in 2009, after reviewing their contract no where does it state they have a labor warranty. We have in the past offered a 5 year labor...

warranty, and according to our records that would have expired in 2014. We have done warranty work in the past (2013). At this point we explained to the client that she no longer carries a labor warranty, and the issue was their igniter and that is considered a wearable item.. (similar to breaks on a car). We made that this extremely clear to the client prior to them making the purchase of the replacement item. We have also included the original contract and all the paper work to support our side.

Thank you for the opportunity to reach out and resolve this client’s concerns. Gillece is willing to schedule our field supervisor, Tom, to visit the home and inspect all work done by our company. We can schedule this appointment for Sunday-Thursday between 8am and 4pm.

[redacted] Gillece stated: [redacted] talked about what needed done they explanined what and how it was to be preformed. We went into the house after the problem was reviewed. I signed a legal and binding contract which states payment of $5000.00, upon completion. Gillece continues to Perjure themselves, saying I was not charged for [redacted]'s work. I sent them a copy of the invoice which clearly states what I was charged for. I will gladly send you a copy. One example of their faluty work is, they used fern-co to cover a broken pipe leading from the house to the clean out. Another example of there faulty work, is the proof from the sewer video preformed by [redacted], it clearly shows gillece did not make any type of connection to pipe from house to main sewer line. [redacted] had to redo the faulty work of Gillece. I waited with the man from [redacted], until the Inspection was done, then [redacted] filled the hole after it was cleared by the Health Dept.. Gillece continues to insist that there work was done to code. The only time an inspection was done was the work preformed in the basement. If there was a third party inspection in no way would they have been allowed to cover up such a Healh Hazard. Gillece has once again perjured themselves stating that there work was to code. Just as I did with [redacted], I stayed out side and wait for the inspection, no one came. The man simply covered the pipes with dirt. I have asked Gillece to send me a copy of the inspection, they still have not sent me a copy. Reason they have no such inspection. I ask the Revdex.com, to request a copy. I assure you Gillece will have a copy of the Basemenmt inspection, there is no such copy of the outside clean out inspection Gillece did not have one done. The reason may be they knew there work was not to code. Not sure? They have opened the door. They state the " Allegheny County Health Dept." inspected the work preformed, they did not. So far, all I am asking is for the restitution of the $5000.00, I had to pay [redacted] to redo gillece"s faluty work. I at this time am asking for a copy of the inspection once again! I also would like the Revdex.com, to request a copy as well. Gillece"s work was not done to code. Gillece did not at anytime use a sewer cam, they relied on pot luck to try and fix the plumbling issues, I am not sure if that was to increase there bottom line or what, all I know is when we contacted gillece my wife insisted on a sewer cam, when they came she repeated herself. Gillece has the audacity to say they gave us options, without a sewer cam they had no idea where or what the blockage would be. They can say it now because they have a copy of [redacted]"s cam. Without a Third Party inspection there is no way gillece can say there job was adequate and done right. Covering broken pipe with fern-coNo connection from clean out pipe to sewer lineNo third party inspection Gillece"s so called work is neither adequate nor done properly! I have read their response and once again it seems like they are scamming us, I seen the copies of what they sent yet I have in my possession from them a certificate stating 10 year parts AND Labor warranty from them, I just do not seem to understand how there can be so many different warranties on the same product, I do understand there are manufacturers warranties and company warranties but how can I have a certificate from them stating 10 years yet they have written 5 years, again slick words and deception

As of this date,Tom E[redacted] nor anyone from Gillece has contacted me.I have tried several more time to talk with someone other than Tom E[redacted].they Even tried E-mail.His response to you again is a lie, about contacting us.As for saying tech wrote notes is not true.how can he explain $500 Gillece rebate and 5% off price purchase also on there, which was used. And how every year a had to pay for yearly check-up to keep warranty valid.

Gillece Services would like to have authorization from the customer to have have a senior technician and an employee with an engineering education and background to arrange a visit to the customer's residence to view and evaluate the retaining wall mentioned in the customer complaint.

Ms. [redacted], Thank you again for the opportunity to respond to this client. The invoice provided was a little hard to see the price for the parts. We will gladly extend a refund for the total parts ($246.61). This refund would be made in a check form and mailed to the client’s home. As for the visit from the install manager, he would complete a thorough 18-point safety inspection which would include a visual inspection, amp draws, refrigerant levels, and many more items. The install manager will also leave a copy of the A/C checklist. The complimentary Service Partner program would expire February 1st, 2019; however, the client did not accept our offer made on that date so I would extend the expiration to February 15th, 2019. Gillece Services hope the client feels this is a fair offer, and we can put this matter behind us. We hope to create a lifelong happy customer relationship form this point forward.   Best, Amanda S[redacted]

The problem with this rebuttal is that the contract was signed to repair the pipe. I signed it in good faith that they had CORRECTLY diagnosed the problem. I signed only after they told me that they needed to dig up the patio and repair the pipe (and after I signed a contract to that effect). THEN I was told, in no uncertain terms, sorry we were wrong. Your patio did not need to be dug up. The issue is on the other side of the house. Essentially the cost of heavy machinery, jackhammer, digging up the floor drain, etc was UNNECESSARY and cost exorbitant because the diagnosis was WRONG. That is what is being bypassed here by a professional company such as Gillece. You made a mistake. Own it. You employed the gentleman at the time when he grossly misdiagnosed the issue, had me sign a contract telling me that would fix it and then 2 days later basically saying "whoops, we messed up". I would happily pay for services rendered that fixed the issue not a ton of extra items tacked on that weren't in any way related to the solution. That is business fraud and I will go the legal route from this point forward. I have dealt with Gillece on 2 occasions previous to this and have been pleased but this is gross negligence and I am not threatening Gillece LLC. I fully intend to protect my rights as a consumer and if that means reputational, monetary and goodwill damage to their brand while also protecting myself and future potential clients then I am going to use all means possible. It's not about the concrete patio. It's about all the extra stuff packed into that contract that was later deemed unneeded and excess. The portion of the costs that related to the patio jackhammering, heavy backhoe, digging up the floor drain the basement, cutting the stacks, etc should NOT be part of a contract when it was not needed to solve the issue. I signed this contract because I was told it was REQUIRED. Their error is not my cost to absorb. As of now I have more than paid fair market value for the cost of job like this (when properly diagnosed) so the remaining balance, plus any damage to my home, will be part of my legal suit should Gillece LLC prefer to leave matters as they are and not act in good faith of the consumer, like all reputable and well-liked companies would choose to do. A signed contract that includes unneeded work due to negligence is not something a company should want to stake their reputation on but should they choose to do so then they will have corresponding repercussions that accompany that flawed business thinking. I welcome a response that is humble and acknowledges their mistake with a corresponding offer to work with us. Otherwise, I will take the aforementioned action.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Ms. [redacted], Thank you for the opportunity to resolve a client’s concern. The Revdex.com works hard to ensure our clients are represented well and their voices are heard. I have attached the signed sewer waiver by Mr. [redacted]. This form shows that Gillece Services is not liable...

for Mr. [redacted]’s faulty sewer line. We have this form because we are contacted thousands of times a year by customers with sewer line issues. We have been in business for 38 years and know that not all sewer lines are going to be in the best shape. We will be more than happy to discuss the options for removing the cables, but the customer was not charged anything at this time. Best, Amanda S[redacted]

Dear Revdex.com,   After reviewing the concern. We see that the client was scheduled and rescheduled. We would be happy to refund her $95.00 and also offer her a free tune up for next furnace season. This is in our records and she can call in and make the appointment when she wants...

it.  Thank You  Tom

Refunds can take up to 10 plus days for the bank to accept. We will verify on our end that the refund was processed thank you

Once again, Gillece Services did not and does not have an agreement/contract to do the applicable work as described by Mr. [redacted] in his Revdex.com complaint.Gillece Services provided Mr. [redacted] with options/solutions to take care of his concerns but he rejected all options/solutions.Accordingly, Mr. [redacted] did not pay any monies to Gillece Services for applicable work as described by Mr. [redacted] in his Revdex.com complaint. In turn at the applicable time, Mr. [redacted] appears to have hired our technician Bill L[redacted] by way of side work on Bill's own time.Mr. [redacted] rejected the services of Gillece Services, apparently hired our technician Bill L[redacted] by way of side work on Bill's own time, and Gillece Services does not have responsibility for the side work of Bill L[redacted].

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Mr. Eshenbaugh's response is apples to my oranges. First off, I never spoke to him ---it is a lie. Tells me the character of him right off the bat. The issue is they replaced a $60 part incorrectly which shorted out the motor and charged me $2,500 for it.I had to hire another contractor to replace the motor. Yes, other options were noted to me at prices which should be illegal. It is not right for contractors to charge un-suspecting consumers outrageous prices ($9,800 for a new AC unit) then claim ignorance, and the Revdex.com gives them a solid rating. Gilleece's response was a lie, the contractor who replaced my motor informed me of the bad installation - I expect a refund- the number now I believe will be left up to the business and the integrity of the business- which I see now is zero.

[redacted]

To conclude my business with Gillece Services I would need them to complete the  following.1) Complete the stacking work per originally discussed with the plumbers. Which would place the pipe up close to the ceiling and walls.2) Place the toilet where it had originally sat. I was given an option of moving the fixtures while the floor was open, but I stated that I wanted everything left where it was.  I understand that the code states that the flange will need to be one foot away from the wall. The toilet had been moved approximately 5 inches toward the entry way which inhibits putting back my 30 inch vanity in the same location.3) Replacing the concrete floor. This time using Heppa Filters to eliminate the concrete dust from going through the house, which I was told in the beginning would be used for that purpose and was not.  This did not help my asthma.I would like this to be completed as soon as possible and in a timely manner.

Ms. [redacted], Thank you for the opportunity to resolve a client’s concern. The Revdex.com works hard to ensure our clients are represented well and their voices are heard. Mr. [redacted] and I spoke this afternoon and resolved the miscommunication that happened with his invoice....

The issue was resolved, and he is happy! Again, thank you for making us aware of this so we could correct a problem for a client.   Best, Amanda [redacted] Operations Manager

If possible I would like the appointment to be 12/12/17.
