Our technician Jim did attempt to snake and clear the line as stated aboveAfter a camera was ran and roots were detected he presented the best options for the client to resolve this problemSnaking a drain to clear roots is not a permanent solution; however, the options Jim provided were
permanent fixes to the root issueGillece Services does not provide itemized quotesOur pricing is task flat-rate pricing, which is mandatory by the consumer protection actThis also benefits and protects the customerIf you have any other issues in the future please do not hesitate to contact me directly412-831-Thank you. Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for allowing us to clarify the situation with you and the client, we do realize that there is sides to every story and we thank you for allowing us to clear up any confusionThe client emailed our company at the end of august stating that "THE PIPE LEADING FROM THE HOUSE
TO THE OUTSIDESEWER LINE (AFTER SO CALLED REPAIR) WAS IN PICECES THE FLEXIBLE CUPLING WASREMOVED AND MOST OF THE CLAY PIPE BROKE IN SEVERAL SECTIONS. THEN A SEWERCAM SHOWED A GAP BETWEEN PIPES NO CONNECTION WAS MADE TO HOLD THE TWO PIPES TOGETHER, I WAS TOLD THAT IS ODD THERE IS NOCONNECTION, I WAS SHOWN THE CAM.. THEY HAD TO REDO THE AREA. INOTICED A GURGELING SOUND WHEN FLUSHING MY TOLIET, I DID NOT WANT ANOTHER SEWERBACK UP, WHY IN GODS NAME DID THEY NOT MAKE THE CONNECTION FROM PIPE TO PIPE,SOME WASTE WENT DOWN THE PIPE BECAUSE IT WAS DIRECTLY OVER THE PIPE THE RESTMORE THEN LIKELY WENT IN THE SOIL, I HAD TO SPEND AN ADDITIONAL FIVETHOUSAND DOLLARS!! WHAT CAN BE DONE." in our response to the client we suggested a few itemsthey were as follows :Thank you for allowing me to address your concerns with you. After reviewing all of the information you have provided me I have came to thefollowing conclusion *** *** excavated up an outside clean outDuring the conversation they agreedto dig it up, and there was no cost spoke ofTherefore the clean up was dug up at no charge to youTherefore the invoice you sent to me is not justified to the work you claimed had to be done because of faulty workThis faulty work appeared to be a fethat had slipped off the pipethe fewas roughly about 1/foot deep and *** *** excavated the pipe up with no cost spoken on the video he provided. The camera video supplied described a large appearance of an belly outside of the home, and is what caused a back up Note our sewer work was done on the inside, with the exception of the clean out installedAlso note that the *** *** employee also suggested that was a feduring his time with you. On the contract with Gillece services under the terms and conditions, it states “ Customer agrees to allow the CONTRACTOR the opportunity or rectify any problem, code violation or changes by any authority having jurisdictionYou gave us no opportunity to look at the “issue” that “*** ***” found during their visit. When Gillece services was completed with the job, the Allegheny county health department inspected the work performed and therefore at that time all work was done to code. *** *** found a belly in the old line ( not excavated by Gillece), and Gillece had given options to replace the entire line during the initial visit. With all of the information you have provided me I cannot allow any compensation at this time I feel that our work when completed was adequate and done properlyThis is why we offer a third party inspection and a lifetime warrantyI thank you for your business in the past, and if there is anything we can do for you in the future please feel free to contact me

We realize that there is always two sides to every storyWe thank you for allowing us to respond to the clients concernsMy name is Tom E***, Customer care manager, and I can be reached at ###-###-####After reviewing the concern of the client and our contract it appears the client may be
confused on their warranty Our records indicate that their Labor warranty expired after years or 6/(see attached information along with the contract) The year warranty they refer too is the manufactures warranty on parts At this point we had only informed them that they owe labor on the unit, and the part would be warrantied thru YorkThank you again for allowing us to work with this client and resolving their concerns

Although I appreciate them refunding my money f$for the filters that they never sent meI feel that if they would review the the same invoice as the filters we could put this to rest and I would take down my complaintI have shred this situation with many of my friends and acquaintances and they all reply with the following statement Why would you buy from these people they are know for those situations and high pressure tacticsAnd they overprice everythingIt seems odd that they are only concerned for their own reputation when all that is required to make this go away is to honor their warranty on the AC unit and refund the moneyI find it odd that a company would want to sue their customers who bought in good faith

Ms***
Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this client’s concernsIt was my understanding that the Revdex.com has closed this case according to the notice I received on July 25th, (see attached letter).I also received a letter on 12/08/stating “this complaint has been closed as resolved.” (see attached letter) Although this matter has been closed twice by the Revdex.com we are more than happy to continue to assist this client in his concerns After Mr*** accepted our offer we sent our plumbing manager, Eric, to his home on 12/26/to complete a quality inspectionEric found our work to be satisfactoryEric determined we had filled the back patio in with gravel, but did not restore it to its original lookOur multiple contracts did in fact state that we were not responsible for any landscaping or replacing the concrete on the above mentioned patioThe homeowner signed completion certificates (see attached) stating that our work was done according to contractIf he was not happy with the work completed, he had the opportunity to refuse signing those However, Gillece does understand that the completed work did take longer than proposedAt this time, Gillece has already refunded the requested amount for the electric dog fence repairsWe would also be willing to hire a professional to come in and restore the patio concrete Once again, Gillece appreciates the opportunity to assist a client with their concernThe hard work of the Revdex.com does not go unnoticed Best, Amanda S*** Operations Manager

Dear Revdex.com,thank you for allowing us address the clients concernWe will be happy to help out the client asap, however please notate that we had attempted to dispatch and contact client and they did not answer the phonethey can reach me at ###-###-####my name is Tom E***

I have included receipts from ** ***, they have guaranteed their work for months, used a traditional snake, and have informed us that our sewer line is not brokenIt's evident this is true as they snaked it on 12/28/and we have had no further issuesWe have adults living in our home, showering, doing laundering and using the restroomI have also included estimates for hydrojetting from the internetGillece pricing is 3-times any estimate I could find online, and the process was unsuccessful. It's worth re-iterating that after our line was cleared by **, Gillece was calling continuously to begin digging in our backyard to replace our sewer lineThis is both unscrupulous and unconscionable

Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for allowing us to address this concern that the consumer hasFirst let me suggest that I am confused on why this concerned is being brought up nowWe went to the home with the client and reviewed the workWe determined that the client had multiple problems and gave them
a price to do some further workThe customer agreed to continue the work that was above and beyond the contract mentioned aboveWe also provided them with a discount on the original jobIf the client that unsatisfied with the outcome, then why did they sign an additional contract? To address the concern, the client had an illegal house trap installed and that is what the original plumber will found and suggested to be replacedIt was also found at a later time that the client had another illegal (county code) fitting and her bath tub drain had rotted and fell into the drain line and had become blocked on the line, as well as a crushed pipe under the foundationI will also point out that the crew of the second job went above and beyond the contract because the pipes under her floor were so rotted that we had to remove more pipe than originally contracted to ensure proper usage of her sewage system Again we ask why this complaint was sent in, after it had already been resolved and have a signed amendment to lower the original price

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this client who was not satisfied with their servicesOur goal at Gillece Services is to make it to client’s home in the quickest way possibleUnfortunately, we are one of the very few companies that operate at a regular rate on a holidayBecause of
this our call volume can be much higher on a holiday than a regular dayWe understand the frustration associated with waiting for a repairmanWe will gladly refund the $service fee Thank you for your time Amanda S*** Operations Manager Gillece Services Plumbing|Heating|Cooling|Electrical

Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for allowing us to clear up this matter with the clientI had the opportunity to speak to the client todayOur technician is on site making a repairWe were on site Sunday, and had to order a partWe then had a miscommunication with the clientWe have waived his
service fee and have offered to discount future servicesThe client is satisfied with this outcome

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I did not sign a document that stated that I received a copy of all documents and I don't have nor would I have signed that document.I requested that the technician try from another drain trap and he would not complyThere weren't any roots or problems with the sewer lineI can obtain camera footage from the company that corrected the issue caused by the Gillece technician. My homeowners stated that I am supposed to be able to contact Gillece's insurerThere is personal property damage the loss of the cable caused us to incur $2,in damages for a simple drain clog no roots or pipe damage was found only the cost to retrieve the snake and cutter that was left in my sewer line.

Dear Revdex.com,Thank you for allowing use to rectify the clients concernsWe appreciate that you realize that there are two sides to every complaint First let me introduce myselfMy name is Tom E*** Operations Manger with Gillece servicesAs of today the filters in the complaint have been
delivered to the clientIn regards to the other complaints, we have attempted to get our installation manager out to his home to set up the manufactures repWe have informed the client that the only way they will make a visit is this wayWe are eager to help and to solidify that the customer may have a duct work issue in the homeAs we have given numerous options to correct the one room that he is complaining about Please note that we only installed a forced air system, and did not make any duct work modificationsWe eagerly await the clients response on moving forward

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
There was work performed that was the direct result of misdiagnosis and unprofessional analysis of the problem. The issue was a blocked pipe on the right side of the house, nothing more. Because the foreman in charge could not figure out how the pipes left the house, our patio was dug up, heavy equipment was brought in a completely unnecessarily step, sewage stacks were cut and their original integrity was compromised, a basement floor drain was covered over which resulted in massive flooding in April 2017, etcIn the end a proper analysis of the solution would have been to replace the pipe, blow out the tree roots and backfill the hole. We are are more than happy to pay for that. However, the lack of accountability from this company is very troubling. All of this is a direct result of Gillece LLC any their payrolled employees showing complete incompetence. Without a serious counteroffer I am taking the step of contacting all tri-state news stations and newspapers as well as filing a claim with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Attorney's Office. This matter was closed with Revdex.com systematically due to a lack of response and goodwill business practice from their end. I never once accepted their offer, of which there was none, and this matter remains very much openAgain, a response That doesn't weigh The Gravity Of The Situation Will Result In Litigation And Exposure To The Pittsburgh Media.

The frozen line that he is referring to is,, once the line blew for the 4th time, it took them weeks to get to my housethat is why it was frozen The original pump was good, they have no clue when it comes to these type of pump as numerous techs and even supervisors has told mewhen they left the last time, they did in fact leave me with an inop pumpthey broke the pitthe pit NEVER frozeas many times they came out and pulled the pump and replaced back into the pit, that they would let fall, and with them using the shovel to break it then pull pieces out and expose rocck (2B gravel)I believe they set me up to pay more everytime they came out to cover their mistakes they did as warranty workI never asked for them to do it for FREE, but for $when it was their fault? that is outrageoushe says that he is willing to do the job still? he told me that he would just cut me a check for $and just walk away! and that is exactly what he did, minus the check!! Gillece needs to honor their guarantee and warranty work.I told him I wanted what was fair to both sides and his fairness is me paying all this money for the problems they created

The information provided by the customer unfortunately is falseThe customer is not telling the truth in this matter. This was verified by video and in personThe video provided by *** *** suggest that he had at one time a septicThe video by Gillece provides facts that *** *** did not replace any pipes that Gillece has replacedAll of this was confirmed by the PA State attorney generals office who Gillece asked to set up a meeting on site to prove we did in fact do the right thingAll of the claims and processes of which the client has described are false, and he has been caught telling this stories on the video, then contradicting himself once he is proven wrong Gillece has provided video recorded evidence of thisWe ask that the Revdex.com considers removing this complaint completely from record, as in this case its been proven to be 100% inaccurate and falsified. 1- In the video provided by *** ***, it shows old clay pipes 2- In the video shown by Gillece it reflects white PVC pipe( that *** *** replaced) The pipes in question are not the same pipes, He admits to that on site

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I had disputed the $through my banking service and was refunded the amount back in OctoberHowever, on November 5th, the $was reversed and charged back to my accountI did not receive any refunds on November 6th as stated.

My air conditioner was under warranty and they charged me for parts and labor check the invoice the same one that you found the filters on that were never sent over months agoI called your office and was referred to the technician who never called me back the AC unit was under the year parts and labor warranty and I would like to have that invoice completely refundedWe no longer want the filters we found them for considerably lessNow about the faulty install the whole problem was the result of an install that was unbelievableIt all stems from the plastic fixture that attaches the water line to the humidifier it was stripped out and appears that silicone or some other substance was used to seal it this caused water to leak into the furnace and short out the boardI was never told that the furnace was under the year warranty by YorkWhat I was told was that You do not sell York anymore because you has to many problemsSo it I was told that they could not guarantee that the board would solve the problem, Then I was told that a replacement would be the logical solution$ for the unit Meanwhile I have a $ 10,dollar unit sitting in my base meant with all the bells and whistles that is just over years oldThis ads up to $ 20,plus all of the service calls that we have had to take care loveI don't know about you but most people would consider this unacceptable I called another reputable dealer and they repaired the existing furnace with a warranted part for a considerably lessIf you want to come over and look at the jerry rigged dollar part that was installed improperly you are certainly welcome to lookout it I have attached pictures There is no way that even if I visually inspected this furnace I would have been able to detect this fitting issue

We have made offers to resolve this in the pastWe have spent numerous man hours and not charged the client dollars for most occurrencesThe client has a pit that is roughly years oldPlease keep in mind that the pit is made our of a durable rubber / plastic and is made for plumbing workShovels on a properly installed pit will never break the pitWe did not jackhammer thru the pit, we cleaned the pitIt appears that the unit was not sat on a level gravel base below, because a properly installed pit would with stand a blow from a shovelWith that being said, the plumber was not beating his pit, he was simply cleaning it, and therefore the blow comment is made for referenceWe have lowered our price by 20% trying to appease a previous client and retain their businessWe also have offered them money back from our last visit, to offer them to resolve their concerns with another contractor if they do not feel we are doing a good jobWe believe that we are serving our customer the best that we can without being taken advantage ofWe did make a offer of $to the client, in order to allow them to get another contractor to assist themWe hope that you will see that as a company we are doing what it takes to try and appease a client
