In response to your complaint I am very sorry that this has gone to this point or for any misunderstandingAll our sales staff are very versed in the financing process and protocolsIt is part of their process to relay these terms at the time of saleIt is also very clear on the [redacted] *** contact that was signed by youAs far as I know, any interest free term loan always charges interest if the payment agreement isn't meet in the loan term as this is common practiceUnfortunately at this point, because the loan terms were not meet, there is nothing we or the bank can doThank you for you time in this matter and once again, our apologizes for any misunderstanding
This was communicated to the customer.We explained to him and showed him on his invoices where it states price increases would be made However, since the writing was small he states that doesn't constitute for proper notification His rate was lowered and a credit of approx$offered to him however, he declined because he felt as if we had breached our agreement with him We explained that per his agreement there was only a price guarantee of months of time and made him aware of where the contract stipulates rate adjustments may be madeWe explained that we only charge 10% for city tax but he disagrees and feels that we billed him improperly
On 11/17/14, at approximately 10:am our driver called into dispatch to report that upon his arrival at the address he saw that the basketball hoop had been knocked down We in turn called the customer to report to them that it was like that upon our arrival On 11/18/14, the customer called back into the office and said he believed our driver was responsible for the damage and he wanted to be compensated Our Operations Manager went out to investigate and did not find anything to support this The complaint states there is blue paint matching our truck on the damaged pole Upon checking records for that date, we show the driver was in our truck number [redacted] which is a green body truck with a white cab This is a truck that came to us during a buy out of another company and has not yet been painted There is no blue paint on this truck We are denying this damage claim
I've been in the process of trying to cancel my service with Republic Services for several months nowTo the degree of sending certified mail to the CEO, Don S [redacted] in Phoenix, AZBelow are excerpts from both letters I've sentThe only response I've gotten to date is from a local representative who only states they can "match" a price for the duration of my contract which is now 3/29/What a lie "On October 9, I spoke to a local representative, Swho took my information and confirmed my service cancellationShe said she'd transfer my information to Dto arrange a pick up date Deventually called me back and said she'd check for an existing contract." (I signed a contract with THEIR notations stating a 6% annual cap on basic service.) To make a long story short, she did in fact call and email me stating I was under contract until 3/29/(the contract mentioned above was signed 3/29/with the automatic month renewal clause)I understand The basic service has since escalated by 19% from to 2015; 17.9% from to Now who knows how much it will go up from to even though Dstated in an email (forgive me, but I just want it in writing, not over the phone) that they would guarantee a monthly $fee to be in competition with another quote I got Now we're moving and don't need them or another provider at all I've sent an additional letter to MrS [redacted] & the local officeWe'll see what happens next, but I would not recommend them to anyone regardless of the outcome
Our local Operations Manager responded to this complaint: I talked to Ms [redacted] Our driver has picked up her yard wasteShe confirmed that the piwas completeI told her that we will put her address on the hot list to make sure she is service on time weeklyMs [redacted] also has my contact info if she should have any problems going forward
I have dealt with this company for the last years since I bought my houseI have only had a couple problems with them in last years (example driving thru my yard to empty our dumpster) until a few months ago when they decided they was going to take the dumpster I had ordered when I moved here and change it from a backward loaded dumpster to a front loading dumpsterThey preceded to inform me that I was under contract due to automatic enrollment that I could not change companiesI then received a call today that they could not continue to provide me with at dumpster at all because they find it unsafe to back out of our drivewayThis wasnt what I have been dealing with for the last years I did not ask for them to change my dumpsterthat was all they companies doingnow I have to downsize to trash cans which I have to drag to the road when I have 100% disabledThis is way I chose to pay more for a dumpster instead of trashcans since i'm unable to lift more than 15lbs for over the last yearsThey also tell me if I don't like it I can choose another company to provide my serviceswhich i'm still under contact for which I was informed a few months agoHow can they let themselves out of the contract but when I want out of it I have to pay for services for the year termThis is one of the worst customer service experiences I have dealt with in my years of life

Good day and Happy I want to share some positive news regarding a negative experience with the Indianapolis REPUBLIC Service [redacted] *** But not for customer service employee Ashley this issue would have been an ordeal! On Weds Dec 28th, I placed my gallon trash can out as normal, right as the truck went by, since it was the week of Christmas I did not think that it would run on schedule! Notwithstanding that, they doubled back and drove by my home and dumpsterSo I dismissed it, and left it out for it to be picked up on Thursday Dec 29th, 2016! The truck came by as normal, drove up and down my street, and didn't dump itOn Dec 29th, I submitted a formal inquiry with the Indianapolis Mayor's Action Line [MAL] for missed trash pickup [request number [redacted] ]I called REPUBLIC on Friday Dec 30th, when I got off work at or about 845-9a.m I spoke to a male named Brett or Brian? He started off seeming to be concerned! We spoke, and I explained the matter! He and I both agreed that I would call back when I got back up, if my dumpster had not been picked upI did just that about 1245-1pmI was then connected to Ashley, she IM Brett or Brian, his reply was smug and dismissive! Own her on accord, she then put my case in an escalated status [ [redacted] ***SSN [redacted] ]She made every effort to cure this matter without saying "hold on, I need to clear this or that with my supv/mgr"! So I want to give praise where praise is due, too her!
The town contract calls for delivery of one cart for trash and one cart for recycleThis is a municipal contract and negotiated with the town itselfIf a resident wants an additional cart their is a rental charge for the cartAgain, this was negotiated through the town on behalf of their residentsIf this particular customer knows of some one who is an additional cart that is not being charged it would be some one who had slipped through the system an is inadvertently not being charged for that serviceWe will due a visual on the address and check this customers neighbors to see fi they are being charged for any additional cartsIf not we will had them to the billing per the town contract The customer can get access of the town contract through the town to verify the contract, or reach out to me directly at [redacted] Doug R [redacted] General Manager Republic Services NWI

The driver circled his route sheet that he serviced this customer on 04/14/We sent a Cart Delivery driver out the the home on 04/16/and he actually picked the full container up and delivered an empty container to the customerI have also put a note on the driver's route sheet that he needs to call the office going forward for days when he is actually at this location dumping the container
This is the worst service ever I requested for garbage pick up in March I was told the first pick up day would be on Thursday, March No one picked up the trash So I called the next day to get it picked up Again, no pickup So the following week I called Wednesday night to insure my trash would get picked up as scheduled the next day, Thursday I was ensured it would be and that the situation would be elevated to the supervisor Come the following day MY TRASH WAS NOT PICKED UP!!! In addition to the calls I made I also wrote an online complaint Finally a supervisor called me and said he would have the cart and the trash removed no later than Saturday, April It is now Monday April and the trash and cart is still in my driveway I called early today and the representative said she would send the message to supervisors I have been told times that the situation would be elevated to the supervisors and none of these supervisors can't seem to get their employees to do their job This is bad advertisement for your company I live in a new subdivision with homes being built I have had two neighbors approach me about the trash I told them Republic Service never came to get it and I am waiting to get the cart picked up They definitely will not be signing up with your company They decided to go with your competitor I am getting frustrated and stressed out about this - unnecessary stress if Louisiana's supervisors can just do their job and get someone to get that eyesore of a trash cart out of my driveway I will not bring it in the garage because the trash has made my garage smell
We attempted to reach the customer and a voicemail was left and explained that the situation was reviewed with internal resources and addressed with a high level of severity in regards to call handlingWe were unable to reach the customer; however, I contacted the customer and left a voicemail apologizing for the manner in which his call was handled when he contacted Republic Services the message on the voicemail also stated Republic Services issued a $customer relation credit, and to contact me on my direct line as soon as possible Thank you, [redacted] Republic Services Customer Service Supervisor
I called and spoke to [redacted] today on 7/17/at 1:44pmWe discussed the account in detail and she was informed I'd work to get her account corrected and the containers removedI was able to have the charges reversed, because we should be able to still retrieve our containersShe was called back again today at 2:44pm, but I had to leave a message informing her of the charge reversal, and that I reached out to her prior landlord to get removal set up etcI also apologized to her for the inconvenience and I left her my direct contact number to call me back should she have any further questions
