Mr [redacted] came into our store on Monday June 29th asking for a rear differential which raises a flag right off the bat to usHe explained to my manager at the time that he was having a problem with his rear differential, we drained his rear differential added rear gear oil and also informed him he was low on Oil and that to was dirty, he asked us to do that also in which we didThe following Tuesday morning he came back into our store around in the morning with a estimate for $ dollarsI personally called Mr [redacted] on our store phone that morning at his ###-###-#### number which will show up on our phone recordsI explained to him that we have video cameras and would look at the film and get back to him, called Mr [redacted] within an hour of my last conversation with him and explained to him that we have the whole thing on surveillance and you can clearly see the oil being drained out of his rear differential and oil going back inI also offered Mr [redacted] an opportunity to come back to our facility and look at tapes for himselfThank you, [redacted] cell ###-###-####

We contacted [redacted] and attempted to negotiate the removals fees associated with our costs as a company to send a truck out to collect the containers [redacted] very politely refused to pay any amount for the removal serviceWe apologized for his inconvenience of these charges and that we would provide him with a courtesy credit for the $invoiced to him for the removals of the containers

Worst possible trash hauler! Check your billing...they add various fees and taxes to your monthly charge, which are not revealed when you ask for a price quote NO other hauler in the metro area charges these fees separately The extra "fees" add up $40-per billing cycle! Don't bother trying to call and actually speak to someone at Republic They are impossible to reach Horrible, HORRIBLE company that should not have a A+ rating on Revdex.com 96% of the reviews are negative Why on earth do they still have a high rating?

I am very dissatisfied with this company I had been a customer for over fifteen years, also referred many clients to the company here in [redacted] I am on this site because I believe this is the main headquartersMy local company has no customer service and have continued to lie to meThis may sound extreme but I have been promised a pick up for the last six weeksThe excuses have been thin when I actually get to talk to someonefirst the driveway was slippery , to much snow near the dumpstercouldn't get in the driveway , ectI will say after all these year that I know what needs to be cleared and taken care ofAfter every storm the driveway is plowed and dumpster is clearedWe have had extreme weather and I allow for a few slips up but! After not hearing back from my repafter a number of calls I finally get the message that if I get the drive sanded they will come out the next dayOKEven though I have never needed to do this I did for an extra expense of a hundred dollarsThey don't show up ? no call no excuse they just don't boththis after being told the snow bank was to near the dumpster so I had a man come for two hours and snow blow and move the bank back (never been a problem over the last fifteen years?) didn't show up againSo I am out the expense of a sander two different times I paid someone to make sure everything was so far away from the dumpsterI can not believe yesterdays conversationMy regular pick up day is Wednesday so I waited and he never showed up, Then when I called they told me it was emptied? I am standing looking at an over full dumpsterThey argue with me and say the driver said he picked it up ? They told me to send them a picture? Again can customer service get any worseWhen the girl gets the picture she tell me they will be out tomorrowThat will make the fifth time I have been told they would be out tomorrowI am a business owner myself and can not even imagine that I would be in business with this continued bad serviceI have several clients that I have referred this company to I am going to make a point of letting them know my issues

On December 3, a driver was dispatched to [redacted] to service this customer At 1:pm I was advised by dispatch that a driver had been to the address and collected bags of trash As a follow up to ensure the situation was resolved, ***, one of our CSR's, placed a courtsey call to the customer [redacted] was not home to confirm at the time of the call [redacted] left a message giving [redacted] his direct number if she had any issues going forward

Send in the VIP's that were issued and once we have received them we will refund the $you are requesting

I signed up with Midco Waste service (new Brunswick, NJ) several years ago. I believed that Merged with Republic Services, Inc later on. During last two years, the bill kept going up (every bill!) and the price is about twice what I initially signed up with them. I finally fed up with them and discontinued my service with them before the new billing cycle. However, I paid the bill already, so I had to ask for a full refund. Then they sent me a check 14.24 less than what I paid for. I called them and was told that they charge me for a service fee of $10 to pick up the garbage can. When I asked them what is the 4.24 on top of $10. They told me that it is tax. Wow, a 42.4% tax , what a scam. I guess they should just charge $200 for the pick up a garbage can and 2000% tax on that, since they can say whatever they want! No one told me anything about such a fee.

We are sorry that the owner of [redacted] feels this way regarding our service He contacted our office months ago regarding this matter and we offered several opportunities to try to maintain our business relationship He worked with two different members of the sales team and the sales manager; all offered solutions to the issue, including lowering the rate This account has now been closed upon his request I do not know what else we can do to satisfy the customer at this point, as he no longer desires to contract our service

Republic Services of West Grove, Pennsylvania [redacted] This company has provided unsatisfactory service for the past two years with regards to price increases and contract agreementsAfter cancelling my service last month I just received an invoice charging me for them to remove their containers, fuel/recovery fee and an "Admim Fee"! This was never discussed when I called to discontinue servicesI recommend buyer beware as they had me sign an agreement to hold prices and then a year later increased the service feeSincerely, [redacted] New London, PA

I had called Republic Services the first of August to cancel my service prior to my next bill being due The man on the phone said ok and gave me a date of September 6th as the date my can would be picked up I thought that was odd given that it was weeks away, but I discontinued using their services the day I called in my cancellation I had my can out for pion the designated day and then I get an invoice for $stating that I owed them $ for removing THEIR can, and $ for a service I had already cancelled After receiving the invoice I wrote back to the Company explaining the above Eventually I get a call from their Accounting department telling me she will remove the can removal charge but that I owed them for the Service of August and part of September I explained to her that this information was NEVER shared with me when I cancelled and had I known that I would have continued to use the service I was paying for I asked her to check the log of my phone call and to ask the man that I spoke with about this She, in frustration, agreed to do this (after she asked if I knew who it was), and then put me on hold for minutes Then, mysteriously the call gets disconnected Hmmm, interesting! Later, I receive in the mail a threat to be turned over to a collection agency Seems to be the M.Oof this Company Shame, shame, shame on Republic Services I will make sure to let my neighborhood board know about this to see if they will go out for new bids

Due to this customer residing within the boundaries of a Municipal Contract, the information provided below standsWe encourage the consumer to reach out to our local General Manager, Doug R [redacted] , if additional conversation is requiredThank you The town contract calls for delivery of one cart for trash and one cart for recycleThis is a municipal contract and negotiated with the town itselfIf a resident wants an additional cart their is a rental charge for the cartAgain, this was negotiated through the town on behalf of their residentsIf this particular customer knows of some one who is an additional cart that is not being charged it would be some one who had slipped through the system an is inadvertently not being charged for that serviceWe will due a visual on the address and check this customers neighbors to see fi they are being charged for any additional cartsIf not we will had them to the billing per the town contract The customer can get access of the town contract through the town to verify the contract, or reach out to me directly at [redacted]

I took over a running business and the previous owner discontinued the trash service and I ordered the start of service that very day on August 5th It took me several phone calls to get all the order in properly Each time I had to wait over minutes to talk to an agent However, I have received no trash service whatsoever and it's September 7th today They removed the trash can and it's been over a month and I still have not got a trash can I did however receive a bill for months service and when I asked them why I have to pay for services that I did not receive I was told I just have to because I transferred ownership of the business and I haven't reported that a trash can was not there I told them every time I called them There is no other choice of trash provider in Plano for businesses It's clear they know they are a monopoly and act it

Thank you for the opportunity to review Mrs [redacted] account and ensure we’re managing the account with accuracy and courtesyMrs [redacted] previously had service in a community in which her monthly rate included recycling serviceShe was paying $+ taxes and fees a month (billed $quarterly) for that serviceIn Minnesota, there cannot be a financial incentive for not recyclingDue to this, our rates are the same from community to community, this is because recycling is not an additional chargeHowever, for tax purposes, a portion of the quarterly rate is applied to recyclingIn Mrs [redacted] case, her $quarterly rate was broken down to $towards trash and $towards recyclingMrs [redacted] moved to a community that has a municipal contract for recycling serviceThe city provides it, individual haulers do notHowever, because our recycling is not an additional charge, her new account was set up at a similar rateThe rate on her new account is $+ taxes and fees a month (billed $quarterly)We attempted to resolve Mrs [redacted] complaints, the customer service representative offered to lower the rate back to the $quarterly, it shouldn’t have been raised to $quarterlyThe resolution was refusedThe customer service representative also offered to credit the delivery fee, that too was refusedWe weren’t to take any action until we honored the rates she requested [redacted] was unavailable to take Mrs***’ call immediately and she refused to leave a voicemailThe issue was escalated to our corporate customer teamIn good faith, we offered Mrs [redacted] the absolute lowest rate we could provide in her new community, $a month or $+ taxes and fees quarterly, the offer was refusedWe simply cannot provide the trash service for a rate of $+ taxes and fees a monthMrs [redacted] informed a corporate customer service representative that she had a different hauler contract with her for the $a quarter and wanted us to close her accountWe’ve honored that request, we closed her account and ensured there would be no balance due (the delivery charge was credited as part of this)However, in this complaint, Mrs [redacted] is asking for $+ taxes and fee a monthIf this is all a misunderstanding and that’s what she’s requesting, we can honor that requestIn fact, we’ll provide a rate lower than what she is asking for and honor the lowest rate possible, $+ taxes and fees a month ($quarterly)In the past, we’ve been very accommodating to Mrs ***’ and her husband’s requestsWe’ve lowered her rate three times in the last five yearSince we’ve had this account, we’ve provided discounted yard waste service, free months of service and reversed numerous late feesWe simply cannot continue to honor the requests for lower rates and discountsIf Mrs [redacted] would like her account re-opened at $a month + taxes and fees (billed $quarterly), please have her reach out to us directly and we’ll work with her to resume her accountPlease let us know if there is anything further we can provideThank you

Jeff F [redacted] the Account Representative has called on separate occasions and has talked to [redacted] who answered the phone and has left all three messages with her asking for [redacted] to call back to get clarification in regards to this Dispute Also to note that the location she is referencing [redacted] has not been serviced by Republic Services since 02/23/when the acct was closed As stated we do not have an open account at this address

We have contacted the customer and discussed the service complaint, the location has been placed on a hot stop sheet and the customer spoke to the route supervisor and a customer service supervisor
