I signed up with Refresh Capital Corp Inc also known as Refresh Financial in the beginning of to improve my credit rating I was told that my direct payment of $would be done monthly and a small fee would be charged to complete the credit report the remaining funds would be placed in trust for me These funds I could remove, borrow against or take out a portion as an advance The amount of advance would depend on what was in trust at the time After considering this decision and calculating the small, the difference in the number of years to pay and what it seemed to be costing me, I called them to cancel my agreement which I had signed a week prior I was told that someone would call me back They did but many days later, passed the days Then I get told to get out of this agreement I would have to pay $
This company completely misrepresents its servicesIt claims to offer loans and when you call in the agent D.CIs in fact a sales person who ask you immediately for photo if, banking information and to docusign a document that to all eyes looks like you are receiving moneyYou are in fact now "on the hook" for a large amount of monthly fees
The agents misrepresent their service and when you want to cancel they do not return your call nor do they allow you out of this contract without a substantial feeThey, as I have found out, are not registered with the Revdex.com and let go of any employee who questions their *** practices
Do not sign any documents as you are not receiving a loan and are not even reporting your payments for months at a timeMy credit did not improve and I lost hundreds of dollars talking to their strong collections team who blamed me for this misrepresentationBuyer BEWARE!!!!
*** You setup a payment schedule and they continually...as in more than half a dozen times in under a year, take out your payment on a day that is not the one specified on your payment schedule***
And they have ALSO continually billed me, for someone else's account, who happened to have the same first and last name as myself
When I've called to address these problems, I've had to phone multiple times, as anytime I leave a message stating they've made a mistake, my calls are rarely returnedAlso on the MULTIPLE occasions they've taken early payments, I get the excuse "I'm sorry sir but we can't just return the paymentYou'll have to wait 5-business days"*** It'
I thought I was getting a loan Instead it was a * yr contract to rebuild credit I did not receive any money from them but am paying approx $*** month *** I tried to cancel but kept being told to call back When I did I was told I would have to pay $*** to cancel I did not have that kind of money at the moment, so they said they would lower my payments I wanted to cancel without paying $*** since they already have $***+ from me I put a stop payment on them and was told by them that if I defaulted it would be sent to collections ***
I did not understand what it was about I was only trying to get my credit score
I was contacted by this company twice, the first time the rep just keep pushing his speech without clarifying that after the years of paying this "loan" which would "help me" to rebuild my credit, I would be getting back only 1/rd or less of the amount paid, since the rest of the money is what the company would me making out off me, and because of this I told them I was not interested because he wasn't being clear of how this works
The second time I was contacted, a different rep explained it to me but still pushing his selling speech not until I read the contract when I realized that the amount of money is divided in parts, 1st part: their fees and interest, including a $mandatory fee that wont be deducted from loan, 2nd part is $monthly fee (years) for their so called "tool" where I can monitor my credit status, which is not different than what *** offers to anyone for $a month, and 3rd part is an unemployment insurance monthly fee (years), and so I read their contract and that's when I realized how sketchy these people are because they rush you to sign the contract without having the chance to read it, only after I read it, that's when I found out their $monthly fee for their tool and their unemployment insurance fee is just optional, but that's not something that they explain you until you ask for it, after this I decided to sign up just to try it out since at this point I would be getting back about 40% of the total amount and honestly that's not a big amount of money that I would be losing for trying to rebuild my credit, so after months just like they promised me that my credit would be much better, I check my credit report and nothing has changed, not even a lil bit, and just so every knows, I only have credit cards and cellphone bill which are paid on time every month
my conclusion is not to trust this company at all, the positive reviews I read I consider them fake since they state that the company will give you, your money back at the end of the loan, which is a flat lie since they don't mention whats the percentage that you actually get back
I received a call from Refresh Financial yesterday *** and was pressured into signing the agreementI told him to call back as I needed to think but he was persistentI was uncomfortable going through with this and called today *** to cancel and was told it was canceled and that I'd receive an email saying it was but never got one.I don't really know what to expect? Am I still going to end up paying even though I don't want nothing to do with this programI know I have days to cancel as stated in the agreement but are they going to ignore my request until it's to late to cancel? I really don't want to go through with this and deeply regret signing
My *** applied through Canada Drives to get involved in a program to rebuild his creditWe did not know it was through a company called refresh financialThe first payment was taken out on the wrong date which resulted in fees and penalties taken by our bankWe called to try and resolve this matterWe were not satisfied as the lady we were talking too did not even address the questions and concerns we hadWe asked to speak with a manager about cancelling the contractWe were told we could not at that time but one would contact usWe were also told that we needed to pay the "loan" pament right away or it would affect my *** credit! I told the lady that we did not receive nor apply for any loanShe said that the lown amount was put into a secured savings bondWhich we were unaware of also
By the time the manager called we were told it was too late to cancel the contract!
We went to our bank and payed to put a stop payment on our account for refresh financialTwo we
I was contacted by a representative of Refresh Financial Inc., in ***I can only assume it was through this *** program I was looking at to rebuild my credit ratingUnderstand that I am on ***, although I was augmenting my income by working part-time as a *** as my medical conditions allowedAnyhow, when I was contacted by Refresh, they told my I had been approved for a secured load of $*** dollarsAnd, that based on the low bi-weekly payments of $*** I could use this loan for what purpose I wanted toAs well, within days they would start reporting to the credit bureau which in turn would boost my credit scoreWell, it all sounded good to me in theory, and with the extra income I was making I knew I could afford itI was also told by the sales representative that I could exit out of this program within months if I was not satisfied, with no penalties
Well, on *** I suffered a serious set backI had a very s
I agreed to a credit refresh loan with ***, who apparently just handle the client care for these guysi was offered what was said to be a one year loan in which they would help build my credit and that at the end of the year period I would be returned the funds excluding the interest and processing feesi agreed to this as I though it would be a good idea to Abuild my creditand Ballow me access to my returned funds just before the holidaysit is now *** and I have contacted them to arrange and figure out the exact date of depositas this company refused to even speak to me about it the diverted me back to ***in speaking with them it terns out all of the planning and statements made by the sales person were all and I had signed a three years contact and will not be seeing any returni reviewed the online documents and it did say months but it seems like I missed it while being lead through them on the phonethe sales guy will walk you thr
Not a business to be trusted and I wish I would have checked with the Revdex.com before signing, Back in May I went to *** to get a loan in order to pay off some debts and rebuild my credit as no banks would touch me with a low credit scoreI was accepted for a cash loan and was offered an "Extra" way to rebuild my credit and save some money at the same time by using Refresh FinancialI was told that for a small bi weekly payment this company would say I had a loan from them and report my payments which in return would build my credit score and at the same time bank some cash to be used as I seen fit at a later dateSo after this past weekend I heard some negative things about Refresh and decided I would look into it for myself (usually when hearing negative things its because someone isn't paying there bills) Here it is Oct and I have found out that I have nothing saved at all yet, my credit rating has stayed the same and that I still owe in a commitment fee before I will start to see a savings amount at allSo there it is a *** loan given to me ( I call it *** as you do not get a loan they just say you have one), continuous bi weekly payments paid on a *** loan, interest of 15.99% on a *** loan, all to find out that I owe a commitment fee for signing onto this ***Now I was talking with a rep yesterday and he has assured me that if I pay the commitment fee in full and cancel the contract that it will show on my credit history that the loan account has been paid and closed but have heard from others that this will not happen and that even after they get their commitment fee they will make it look negative as they do not want people to opt out early*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***

Asked for it to be cancelled they want more moneyI want it off my credit report and money returned
I want to cancel the contract, everything deleted account with you immediately! *** Anyway, again please cancel the contractThank you
Had to call times to cancel my accountRefresh was continuing to debit my account even when they claimed I would not be charged again and my account was "cancelled"Also it takes upwards of an hour to reach anyone for customer serviceAlso it is labelled as a "savings" account but you don't get in of your money back, in fact you owe them for their "service".***
Back in***, I was needing money for emergency use and I was told to apply to Refresh Financial for a loanI requested for a telephone appointment and it was grantedThe person I was talking to told me that this one is a loan of a certain amount that will help rebuild creditWe only spoke briefly and then he gave me papers to sign electronically and Refresh Financial has started taking money our of my account
In two occasions, I have had difficulty with my income so I turned to Refresh Financial if I could get my loan now since they have already collected moneyThey answered back that I am only entitled to equities built up amounting to some $ They mentioned that I could only get the full loan amount after some certain number of yearsI argued with them I needed the money and that's the time they mentioned about rebuilding creditI told them, there has no changes or whatsoever in my credit scoreI told them that their scheme doesn't workSo the guy I was t
When I was first approached about the refresh program in *** about the rebuilding program I understood that I would be paying bi weekly for years *** I went ahead to get a car loan in this process I found out that the refresh program was not reporting at all on my creditIn good faith I assumed maybe to soon I was still approved but with an extremely high interest rateIn *** when going over my finances with my bank *** I tried contacting refresh to get some answersIt took hours to even get ahold of someone at there office plus leaving several messages*** Pho
I was *** by this company, they*** by phone, told me they were a free government run company to rebuild my credit, that was already fine as well, I really think this was *** transaction also, they made me a *** loan that I never got a penny from ***, I said I would maybe consider at a later time, they went ahead *** a hundred dollars from my account for eleven and a half months without me aware of, when I called them they told me I have no money in my account , in fact they wanted four thousand more dollars from me, called every government agency to make a complaint , no one could do nothing for me, go figureafter I cancelled *** they still tried *** money from my account, everyone stay away ***,***
Refresh Financial claims that they will report to both*** Credit reporting agencies in *** (*** and ***) for the sole purpose of raising ones credit score
They do not infact report to ***When questioned they claim they are unable to and to contact *** yourself (which their 'fee' for the service specifically claims it is for the administration it takes to report monthly) When asked to leave the loan due to *** pretense they claim you are now responsible for a very*** admin fee
I filed a consumer proposal a few years ago and subsequently my credit plunged...I discovered Refresh and they advertise a service to build your credit through a secured loanThey charged me $to begin a reverse loan type of agreement where I pay into them every two weeks, in order to show credit reporting services that I am building a stable credit historyTheir promise upon signing me up (in Oct 2016) was this would happen more quickly than notI have been monitoring my credit monthly since *** and since then I have never seen my 'Loan' with them on my *** reportI called in a month ago and was shocked to discover that currently Refresh isn't successfully reporting any of their customers accounts to ***!! So I've been paying for months for NO REASON and they've already taken the $I've paid in order to increase my credit rating, which hasn't gone up at all since I joined this supposed program! I called them a few days ago and no Manager has yet to call me
I had an agreement with this company that led me to believe that this was a credit rebuilding event that would help meI had to pay this company an amount each month that would go toward a payout back to me at the end of the agreementI tried cancelling the agreement and was told that I wasn't permitted to cancelAt the time I spoke with the agent, he said the reason why I couldn't cancel was because I didn't have the admin fee paidWe discussed the cancellation and agreed that I would cancel and pay the difference of the admin feeI assumed that was the dealmonths pass with no written or verbal communication with themI checked my credit bureau and was astonished to discover that the agreement was never cancelled and they ere reporting me to the bureau for late payments! I tried calling them to discuss the original arrangement and was told the original agent would call me back to discussThis is extremely unfair that I am not allowed to cancel an agreement with themI never
I obtained a loan from ***, which I asked in advance before signing the paperwork if there was a penalty in paying back the loan within the next few months as the last derogatory information (from my *** being killed from by a hit and run driver) was dropping off my credit files in *** of this yearI currently have a traditional credit card and a secured credit card which have helped with rebuilding my credit so I have no need for this savings loanThe rep stated I could pay it back in full with no penalty at anytime so I proceeded to sign the contractDuring the signing process the rep went through the paperwork very fast and discussed mostly the payments, a *** account that was included with a discount and briefly how they reported monthlyNot once was the name Refresh Financial discussed and that I was entering into a "savings loan"This week $** came out of my account for Refresh Financial in addition to the first *** loan paymentSince them I hav
