The frustration it caused me, and the amount of time I wasted talking to them, they have never compensated forAnd guess what, you want to cancel with them? days until you get your money backSo if you were like me, and were looking to apply for a credit card with bad credit, stay away from refresh financial! I recently got a Refresh Secured *** mainly to use for car rentalsThe Refresh website states their card can be used wherever a regular *** is takenWhen applying and again when activating the card I asked the service representatives whether the card may be used for car rentals and was told yesBut after getting the card I was unable to use it at several different car rental agencies, with the reason given they do not accept prepaid *** cards
I then did some online research using the card's Issuer Identification Number (IIN), which is the first digits of the card number and find that yes indeed the card is registered as a prepaid *** issued by ***

I signed up with Refresh Financial when referred by *** when I initially was looking into ways to get a vehicle with terrible creditRefresh advised by putting money aside for a small bi-weekly fee/payment of I could rebuild my credit and they report my monthly on time payments to improve my creditWhat I didn't realize was after signing up and having my hours reduced at work I am unable to make those paymentsNot only that but when I spoke to a representative at Refresh they told me that the first year of payments of bi-weekly actually goes toward an installment fee of and something dollarsThey also told me I have to pay until the full installment fee is paid and we can "shake hands" for them providing me a service I couldnt afford to do in the first placeSo as of now since October I have put nothing away for myselfI have nothing to show except one report I can see in *** that was reported in ***I feel I was manipulated into thinking this w

Refresh financial is great!!! They boosted my credit score, helped me save money and helped my husband and I buy our house;) I was not only a number to them, they stayed in touch and helped me out along the wayAnswered all my questions and concerns

*** I was told that their fee was $400.00, and that at anytime I could withdraw from the program and I would receive all the money I had put in except for the $fee I was told by the representative that they had to put an interest amount in the contract for reporting purposes only, but that in reality the only fee they would ever charge me was the $and so it was a great way to save up money while rebuilding credit I was immediately emailed a contract to sign, and when I spoke to the rep on the phone questioning the contract, she told me it was for reporting purposes only, and that interest was not charged I even recall her saying "that's silly, how can we charge you interest on money you never receive?"
Further, they had told me they reported to both ***nd ***After a couple months with no ***eporting, I called them and they said it was a problem on ***ide and they would fix it
