I am rejecting this response because: I already spoke with a manager that "explained" the process on how they get their data The manager asked for my phone number, which I gave and never heard back What I need is not details on how the system gathers data, but action on removing a credit inquiry that was pulled without my consent (which I have communicated numerous times) It isn't that hard, all you have to do is send mail explaining it was done in error You not doing this basically means you are justifying illegal credit pulls, and that you are not in the wrong, which you are

updated and that the service was approved. Therefore, you should have been able to utilize your vehicle service contract that you purchased. As a note, since we work as a broker and do not have access to your vehicle or vehicle records, we have to go by the mileage we are given by our customers. This mix up seems to be the reason why there was a delay in using your warranty. Again, I apologize that you had so much trouble in the beginning, but you should have been able to proceed last week. Hi Mr. [redacted], I am writing about your complaint #[redacted] that was submitted to the Revdex.com in November. After reviewing your concerns, I responded to you via email regarding your GAP refund and included screenshots of your signed contract showing that refunds are...
only given within 60 days of contract. I understand that you wrote to the Credit Union directly and received no response. Again, I apologize for that oversight. However, you emailed them 90 days past the date of contract, meaning that the policy was no longer eligible for a refund. As stated, this contracts are underwritten through a third-party, and therefore RateGenius is not able to issue a refund past the contracted date. agreed to allow [redacted]’s channel partners to pull your credit in order to evaluate your application. RateGenius is one [redacted]’s channel partners. However, it should be noted that RateGenius only conducted a “soft pull” of your credit. This is done so RateGenius can attempt to match consumers with a lender that will best suit their needs. If a match is found, the application is submitted to that lender. It is possible that the lender that received your application performed a “hard pull” of credit in order to make a final decision on your application. A notice indicating the action on your application has been mailed out to your address on file. The notice identifies any lender that may have pulled your credit. As a reminder, you entered all of your vehicle information and personal information into the Lending Tree website and submitted the application through their website. I am currently waiting for them to provide the exact screenshots from your application, but again, your information was sent from them. I would be happy to email you directly once I am able to get it in touch with them.We did not personally take your social security information and run an application without permission. All of the information was collected from Lending Tree, your credit was pulled, and then sent to us to find a lender. If you are still looking around for a loan, please note that all inquires on your credit pertaining to a refinance are lumped together and entered as only on inquiry within 30 days of applications. This will not negatively affect your credit.
