Very professional, answered all my questions, got right to work & knew what possibly be wrong & it was & told me how to avoid having the plugged drain!!
W.B. was very professional and able to correct problems with two commodes.
Completed an estimate with full explanation prior to my consent. No issues in
repairs and cleaned up after completed.
[redacted] the electrician was very professional, polite and very helpful. He explained the issues we had and fixed them properly. I would recommend him and the company to everybody.
As a new customer of Rapid Repair Experts, I have enjoyed the professionalism and quality work of [redacted] and his associate. The service was done with quality. [redacted] expert knowledge on the AC system is impressive and commendable. I would highly recommend [redacted] and the firm without reservation.
[redacted] from Rapid Repair was courteous and professional. Think he may have jumped to a conclusion about the problem I was having, but did a basic assessment of problem and referred me to Duke energy. When Rapid Repair supervisor came back out a few days later, he was simply more thorough and looked at all possible options - and therefore was able to identify the true problem. Rapid repair then did a great job of replacing/addressing the problem.
[redacted] was knowledgeable and professional in his approach to the task at hand.
The technicians are very prompt, courteous and respectful. They have a passion [redacted] their craft which is great, however their exuberance to point out flaws in the system generally drives up the price of what's needed. They will get it operational in short order and its great to know what else is wrong in the system to tackle at a later date. I noticed that the capacitors in the system always seem to need attention if not immediate replacement. THAT IS A VERY HIGH PRICED ITEM at over couple hundred dollars for part and labor, even on the maintenance plan!! Maybe offer a senior citizen discount? Maybe assess what's causing it if feasible. Anyway, over all a good experience, since you can always decline any of the repair offers.
I had a positive experience with [redacted] when he came out. Tried to sell me something once and I'm not big for the salesman experience, and he seemed to get that from me and didn't continue to try and sell me anything, which I like. He taught me something, any little tid-bit to make me smarter with the care of anything around my home makes me happy too. he was quick and efficient, did a great job.
The technician from Rapid Repair Experts, [redacted], was quick to assess the situation and got right to diagnosing, with tests, what the issues were with my heat pump unit. He also took the time to go over various options of repair and offered their maintenance service feature that makes periodic checks of both my units for a year. Their service prices were reasonable but I did think the service replacing a starter capacitor seemed a little high but [redacted] showed me the companies pricing on the service. Nonetheless, there was an additional issue with low refrigerant and he recharged my unit and added a sealant to block possible minute leak. This was agreed to by me as the least invasive method to get my AC unit operational. [redacted] continued to let unit run and it stabilized out. I was billed and accepted the maintenance agreement for one year which provides some savings on current bill too. Overall a very good experience and would use the company again as they do have the best assessment and diagnosis fee of $59.00 when all others charge up to 75.00 to 100 dollars.
Had a heating problem develop and within 24 hours RapidRepair had it fixed. Very good company and they never try to sell you something you don't need.
[redacted] was my technician and he was such a great guy! he was quiet, super polite, kind and went over the top to finish my overwhelming (to me) job. it turned out to be a much bigger job than he thought, (a new to me condo that had a lot of hidden issues) but he worked long hours without complaining, answered all my questions, and did a wonderful job keeping me calm as things seemed to escalate. not only would I recommend him, I already have. he is awesome.
I was very pleased with Rapid Repair Experts. I needed some electrical work done at my home and was able to have technicians come to my house in a very timely manner. The two electricians, [redacted] and [redacted] were very polite, friendly and professional and seemed very capable and knowledgable. The customer service was excellent and as a result, I decided to use RRE for my plumbing needs.
[redacted] and [redacted] were thorough, helpful and very pleasant when doing my fall checkup on Thursday morning, as well as being considerate of my schedule. [redacted]
[redacted] and [redacted] from Rapid Repair Experts came out to fix some wiring that had its insulation stripped off by a squirrel. They did a great job on the fix and thoroughly explained what they did and showed me their work. I also felt the price was reasonable. Will go with RRE for future repair jobs.
Excellent, honest. We had an electrical problem. Rapid Repair was able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone in a matter of a minute. It was something we had overlooked. This saved us a service call and any other expense related to the issue. We highly recommend Rapid Repair and will use their services in the future when needed.
[redacted] and the entire team at Rapid Repair Experts in Durham NC are so professional, friendly, respectful and knowledgeable! My experience with them gave me hope that not all companies are abandoning customer service and Human Relations. Definitely recommend them, they called back for my service right away (twice) and every single employee I talked to was truly friendly and knowledgeable but also with the will to make your day better! I worked for Disney and know what it means to give good service, and these guys do it right.
Purchased an AC tune-up. My unit has been working 8 years without issue since I purchased my home. Now my AC will not stop running.I called Rapid Repair Experts to schedule an AC tune-up for 5/13. I requested [redacted] because several of my neighbors gave glowing reviews on this specific technician. My AC has been working for 8 years since I purchased the home new. I am no AC repairman but it seemed to take [redacted] a long time to do the tune-up, he also made a call to someone during the service. He was at my home for almost 2.5 hours. I asked if everything was okay because he mentioned that some wires were not connected. I would not have any idea because I don't go in the attic and the unit was functioning during my inspection and closing on the home. It also worked fine when my uncle a retired HVAC technician would do my tune-ups, he has since moved several States away, which prompted a call to Rapid Repair Experts. My uncle expressed concern because there is no real reason for a tech to go into the attic for an AC tune-up. Now my AC unit will not turn off or respond to the thermostat. When I realized something was wrong, Saturday 5/14, I called the number listed on [redacted] business card. I was not able to leave a message because the voicemail box was full. So I sent a text, I didn't get a response, so I called Rapid Repair Experts and the answering service sent [redacted] out. He wasn't much help because he was not familiar with my unit. I told him that [redacted] mentioned some wiring not being connected, he called [redacted] and I thought that would help, being that he serviced my unit and was at my home for 2 hours, that he might remember that something was odd, or say oh yea I did switch some wires, switch it back. [redacted] told me it was my thermostat, without testing my thermostat, quoted me a weekend rate of $600, but if I waited until the weekday it would be around $300. He stated someone would call me on Monday because he was putting in a service request for me (5/16), no one called. So I called and asked to speak with a manager. I told them what happened and they seemed to be aware of me because they (a woman don't remember her name) mentioned the Saturday dispatch. I was told the manager was in the field and would return my call, no one called. I called again (5/18) left my name and number with the same story, manager was in the field doing service calls. At this point I want my money back so that I can find a HVAC technician that is competent and familiar with my unit to rule out if my thermostat is truly the issue or if the wiring was changed by [redacted] of Rapid Repair Experts. I will seek full reimbursement from Rapid Repair Experts on all cost incurred fixing my AC unit after their tech caused it to malfunction. It's worked all of this time and now it won't stop running. My thermostat is new because I updated it 2 years ago to a programmable thermostat. [redacted] didn't do any testing to determine if my thermostat was the issue. He can't make that determination especially since he stated he was not familiar with my unit. Now I have a malfunctioning AC/thermostat that won't stop running unless I go outside to the breaker box and flip the breaker switch to my AC unit off.Desired SettlementI would like a REFUND. I am not comfortable letting anyone else from Rapid Repair Experts work on my unit at this point. 1.They wont return my calls2. It seemed to take [redacted] quite awhile to do the tune-up.2a. [redacted] stated everything was fine and that my levels looked good. 2b. [redacted] mentioned wires not being connected which I assume he connected them. He was in my attic when he made that statement. He changed something. Now my thermostat does not communicate to the AC unit.[redacted] was not familiar with my unit.[redacted] did not test my thermostat[redacted] quoted $600 to replace the thermostat(weekend rate) $300 to replace the thermostat (weekday rate) I'd like a refund and will seek another service professional and bill all costs incurred to Rapid Repair.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] General MaContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@rapidrepairexperts.com[redacted], We are very sorry for the experience you had with Rapid Repair.
