[redacted] is amazing, in that out of all the companies, that I called, him and his team at Rapid Repair Experts gave me the best price and the best window to repair my busted water heater, so my children can have warm water to bath with. Rapid Repair Experts not only did a fantastic job of replacing the whole of our plumbing in our house but when we had a minor problem thereafter they responded quickly, came quickly and were very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them as a company.

We had a problem with leakage of water from underground which was getting quite bad. The Rapid Repair technician ([redacted]) fixed it skillfully. He did a fantastic job and we are very pleased with the quality of his work.

The repair man [redacted] was very professional. He explained to me what was causing my problem and then explained in detail what he needed to do to correct it. I, as usual,, had questions and he answered them to my satisfaction...After he was finished and the system worked properly he then advised me in the proper way to use the system as I had been doing things wrong, as usual, according to my wife. Everything is up and running correctly. GOOD JOB!

Today is my second experience with Rapid Repair Experts and the second positive experience. I have been pleased that each time their service techs have come they make suggestions for improvements but have never used pressure sales tactics. This approach combined with knowledgeable re[air will keep us as customers.

Recently I had scheduled an AC Tune Up with this company. I knew something was wrong with my unit and didn't know exactly what it was. I was going to use another company but they were booked out for a couple of months and then I saw this company on TV. I decided to give them a call and saw they had GREAT reviews.

The day of my appointment was supposed to be between the hours of 11 AM and 2 PM. I told them that I would need a call prior to the Service Technician coming out because I was at work that day. I received a call at 9:17 AM saying the Service Technician finished a job early and would be on his way. I said GREAT and asked roughly how long it would be. The Agent told me he should be there in roughly 30 minutes. Almost an HOUR later, at 10:10, I received a call from the Service Technician saying he was about 15-20 minutes out. I was not too happy about this since I was taking time out of work!

When the Service Technician arrived, he was great! I have no complaints about the gentleman they sent out. He was very professional, polite, and was a hard worker.

The part I am upset about with this company is the fact that I went from a $49 AC Tune Up to paying them over $600+ for a CHANCE that everything might be ok but they are not able to guarantee it.

It turns out that my freon level was extremely low (which I had figured). The technician explained that the only way the levels are low would be because there is a leak somewhere. He told me it would be a $100 charge to locate the leak. I said sure. It seemed important because I don't know any better.

The man looked all over and even he was puzzled about the situation. He rant 2 different types of tests and COULD NOT LOCATE the leak (That's not very reassuring to me as a customer). The man then presented 3 different options to me. One of the options, which I ended up going with, he said he would put a sealer in and recharge the freon. He said it would be anywhere from $350ish to $500+ depending on how much freon is used (again, not very reassuring to me as a customer but it had to be done since it's 100+ degrees out and 80+ degrees inside my own home). The man completed his work and then cleaned the coils to the AC Unit as part of the "tune up".

When everything was completed, I received the final bill and was a little stunned by the total price of $667.00. The charges were broken down to me but I feel a little cheated out of all that occurred.

$49 (AC Tune Up) - Told me what was wrong and sprayed soap and water on it...
$100 (Locate Leak) - NOTHING WAS FOUND. This was basically $100 wasted dollars. All they did was use a device to scan and spray soap water on some parts.
Rest of the charges were for the freon and seal and I understand that.

I just feel as a customer who is about to spend some serious money with this business, they can work with the customer and make it a reasonable transaction. The total time taken for all of this was almost 3 hours. Beside the lost time and money at work, I really feel like I was cheated out of money all for a CHANCE because again, they can't guarantee the seal would work or the freon level will remain the same.

[redacted] is very knowledgeable and customer friendly. He is an asset to Rapid Repair.

Experience with Rapid Repair Experts was a very positive one. The Technician was very prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. Work performed was extremely efficient and satisfactory.

[redacted] and the entire team at Rapid Repair Experts in Durham NC are so professional, friendly, respectful and knowledgeable! My experience with them gave me hope that not all companies are abandoning customer service and Human Relations. Definitely recommend them, they called back for my service right away (twice) and every single employee I talked to was truly friendly and knowledgeable but also with the will to make your day better! I worked for Disney and know what it means to give good service, and these guys do it right.

Installed my new gas-pack today and it all looks great. Second time I used these guys this year. They only sell you what you need and make sure you understand everything about the unit.

[redacted] was great. He quickly diagnosed our issues and made the repairs in no time. Additionally, he shared information re preventative maintenance measures so the issues were less likely to occur in the future.

Rapid Repair was great! The representative they sent to our home was quick, friendly, and explained everything to us as he was doing it. I really appreciate all of his effort to help us resolve our problem, you could tell that he really cared. I would absolutely call them again.

[redacted] and [redacted] from Rapid Repair Experts came out to fix some wiring that had its insulation stripped off by a squirrel. They did a great job on the fix and thoroughly explained what they did and showed me their work. I also felt the price was reasonable. Will go with RRE for future repair jobs.

[redacted] was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable about the work that was provided. He answered questions and was very personable. [redacted] was here to install a toilet and dishwasher. He found a problem with the toilet installation and provided choices for a viable solution. He was very meticulous with the installation of both the dishwasher and toilet. He was very attentive to the cleanliness in our home and showed respect for our property and surroundings.

I've been using Rapid Repair Experts for the past year and I have been very pleased with their service. I recently had them perform a heating system tune-up on both of my furnaces. The technician, [redacted], actually arrived early and called to see if I wouldn't mind him starting the service early. I believe he was thorough in his examination of my very old systems and he spotted and fixed a minor issue that should result in a noticeable change in the heating of my house. They are definitely a company I would recommend and will continue to use for my heating/AC services.

Excellent, honest. We had an electrical problem. Rapid Repair was able to troubleshoot the problem over the phone in a matter of a minute. It was something we had overlooked. This saved us a service call and any other expense related to the issue. We highly recommend Rapid Repair and will use their services in the future when needed.
