After purchasing several gift card from Raise.com successfully,I purchased an [redacted] gift card that read a balance of ZERO I filed a claim that the gift card I purchased did not have a balance I received a refund, then my account was put on a holdI called in and was told I used my gift card and I had to pay the amount that was refunded So I paid the amount and started to file a claim with my credit card I called [redacted] to see what information they had Their file shows that the card's full balance was used on December 1, I purchased my card on December The person at Raise that I talked to said "someone at your house used the card" Even [redacted] was unable to track the account the card was used on They could, however track the date of activities of the card and show that the card was redeemed in full prior to my purchasing it They were also able to see that I tried to use the card on December 15, I am now very mad that your representative lied to me, claiming that they could see that someone in my house used the card AND that the company did not stand by their guarantee that they would refund cards that did not have the stated balance I am in the process of filing a claim with my bank The promise to refund card balances are nice, but they have a nasty scam to get around it I have used other gift card re-selling companies with no issues RAISE's promise is FRAUD!!!!

After receiving Revdex.com complaint number [redacted] , we were able to review the order in question On April 20, the customer purchased a [redacted] gift card from Raise.com with a value of $and a purchase price of $for which $total was paid after Raise rewards were used on the purchase As the customer used a prepaid card to make the purchase, a check refund was requestedThe check was sent to the customer on June 8, The check may have met a hold up in the post office, as the check was issued by Raise on the previously mentioned dateWe understand that this can be an inconvenience, but a check has a day holding period where it cannot be canceled without extended fees for the customer This check having been issued on June 8, was voided on July 23, While our follow up did come late, we have confirmed the customer’s correct address and are having the check reissued through our financial team and the check will be on its way within the week We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and look forwarding to better serving this customer again in the future

After again reviewing Revdex.com complaint number [redacted] we are able to provide the customer with a different solutionAs mentioned previously, the customer is not authorized to resell this particular type of card on our marketplace due to the additional terms required for the sellers of this brandThis is true for all one-off sellers looking to sell this brand on Raise However, as a result, Raise is able to offer a one-time courtesy to the customer by sending them a pre-paid shipping label via emailThe email will be sent within one business dayOnce the customer receives his order in the mail, they can use the label to send the cards back to our officeOnce Raise receives these cards into the office, we will be able to offer a full purchase price refund in the amount of $1,The customer will be notified via email once the transaction has been completedOverall, we would like to consider this matter resolved as we are making an exception to our policy in order to best serve this customerWe hope to be able to serve him again in the future

After receiving and reviewing complaint number [redacted] and the order number in question, it appears that the current resolution is warranted.On August 28th the customer purchased from Raise.com an [redacted] gift card with a value of $for a purchase price of $The customer contacted Raise Member Services on February 26th via phone and informed the serving agent that he had been able to redeem a portion of the gift card and it should still have had remaining a balance of $During the phone conversation the customer did speak with both an agent and supervisor because as this inquiry falls outside of the Day Guarantee the order was sent to be reviewed by the Gift Card Support TeamDuring the review process, the Gift Card Support Team determined that because the order falls so far outside of the Day Guarantee a refund would not be provided and no further action would be taken on the order by RaiseThe customer was sent an email on Sunday February 28th 2016, two days after the initial inquiry, informing him that Raise would be unable to refund due to the order being so far outside of the Day GuaranteeWithin the email communication between the agent and the customer, the customer was also offered a complimentary promotional code to use toward his next order.After the email was received the customer did call in to Raise again and spoke to another agent and supervisorDuring that phone conversation the customer was again notified that no further action could be taken on this order as if falls outside of the guarantee period.While there is no expiration on the the gift cards, the Raise Day Guarantee does only guarantee a refund for the purchase price for the first days after the date of purchaseWe appreciate the customer’s business and understand that while the Day Guarantee is outlined on all order receipts and on the Raise website that a situation like this can be frustrating.We will continue to ensure that Raise policy is adhered to and properly communicated We feel that this issue has been resolved in accordance with the Raise guarantee and apologize for any inconvenience
After purchasing several gift card from Raise.com successfully,I purchased an [redacted] gift card that read a balance of ZERO I filed a claim that the gift card I purchased did not have a balance I received a refund, then my account was put on a holdI called in and was told I used my gift card and I had to pay the amount that was refunded So I paid the amount and started to file a claim with my credit card I called [redacted] to see what information they had Their file shows that the card's full balance was used on December 1, I purchased my card on December The person at Raise that I talked to said "someone at your house used the card" Even [redacted] was unable to track the account the card was used on They could, however track the date of activities of the card and show that the card was redeemed in full prior to my purchasing it They were also able to see that I tried to use the card on December 15, I am now very mad that your representative lied to me, claiming that they could see that someone in my house used the card AND that the company did not stand by their guarantee that they would refund cards that did not have the stated balance I am in the process of filing a claim with my bank The promise to refund card balances are nice, but they have a nasty scam to get around it I have used other gift card re-selling companies with no issues RAISE's promise is FRAUD!!!!
