Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This is what Raise doesIf you look at other similar complaints they are all treated the same wayRaise stalls you until the day warranty is upThere are to many complaints of Raise selling [redacted] cards that are either used up already or partially usedI would like my credit card credited backI promise I will never do business again with Raise Sincerely, [redacted]

After receiving Revdex.com complaint number [redacted] we again reviewed the order and are, unfortunately, unable offer a different resolutionAt this time, Raise has fully refunded the purchase to the customer and confirmed that the transaction returned to the customer’s account was successful When the customer contacted Raise the first time on April 8, 2016, before placing his order, he did ask questions about using Raise gift cards outside of the United States, at which time, the serving agent did answer all of the customer’s questionsWhile Raise does express that we are unable to process transactions outside of the United States, we understand that this specific instance was unfortunate We would like to apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused and consider the issue resolved at this time

First off let me say I have spent 1000's of $$ with Raise.comThey started sending merchandise vouchers instead of the actual gift cardsThe last card I bought was a $gift card for lowesI received it in a merchandise credit as mentioned aboveLowe's changed their policy and would not accept the merchandise credit without the actual gift cardI contacted Raise and they said that I was outside of my day guaranteeHow did I know I needed to spend this credit otherwise it would be no good within a month of purchasing it??? They refuse to give me a refund or replace the cardNever againThese guys are scammingPlease do not buy if it's a merchandise credit [redacted] said people are stealing from stores and selling their credits on RaiseOnce the store traces back the stolen merchandise to the return, they void the card/creditRaise could have prevented this by not accepting merchandise credits in the first placeThis along with the fact they are a scam will be the downfall of their company

After receiving Revdex.com complaint number [redacted] , we were able to review the order and offer a solution to the customer. On September 3, 2016, the customer purchased a $ [redacted] gift card for a purchase price of $This was an e-gift/voucher that was delivered to the customer’s email address and Raise account that same day.On November 19, 2017, the customer reached out to our Member Services team stating that the card showed a zero balance and had not been redeemed previouslyThe supporting agent informed the customer that due to the card being outside of our Year Money-Back Guarantee, we would be unable to refund the customerAll cards purchased on Raise are protected by our Year Money-Back Guarantee(https://www.raise.com/guarantee)The customer responded via email that same day and informed us of additional redemption information provided by the brandEvery card that is listed on Raise is verified twice, once at the initial listing, and once at the time of purchase to ensure a valid and accurate balanceThe balance of this card was verified on September 2, The supporting agent again informed the customer that due to the time that had passed since the order was originally placed, a refund was not possibleAs an extension of our apology, the customer was provided with $in Raise Rewards. After re-reviewing the customer’s account and the order, we will be able to offer the customer a courtesy refund the full $in the form of Raise RewardsThese rewards will be added to the customer’s account within hours and an email will be sent via [redacted] @raise.com with more information. At this time, we would like to consider this issue resolved as we have provided the customer with a courtesy refund in the form of Raise RewardsUnfortunately, since the request is outside of our Guarantee, we will be providing the refund in the form of Rewards and not to the original payment methodWe would like to apologize to the customer for any troubles this has caused and are looking forward to better serving the customer in the futureAny other questions or concerns can be directed via email to [redacted] @raise.com

After receiving Revdex.com complaint number [redacted] , we were able to review the order in question On November 27, the customer purchased two [redacted] In-Store-Only gift cards on Raise.comOne card was valued at $with a purchase price of $548.02, while the other card had a value of $with a purchase price of $The customer then contacted Raise via phone that same day, expressing that [redacted] was no longer carrying the item they were intending to purchase and requested that their Raise order be canceledThe serving agent informed the customer that this was not possible, as once an order is placed Raise is not able to cancel the transaction in order to protect both the buyer and the sellerThe customer was also informed that re-selling the cards was not possible, due to the additional terms required for sellers of this particular type of gift card The call was then escalated to a supervisor on duty who communicated the same information as the serving agentBecause the integrity of the marketplace is a top priority for Raise, we are unable to return a valid gift card once an order has been processed and the gift card information has been released to the buyerThe Raise Guarantee is in place to protect the buyer's purchase price in the event there is ever an issue with a gift card such as inactive and/or inaccurate balanceWe stand fully behind that Guarantee and would be more than happy to provide a refund, if within policyUnfortunately, we are not able to cover in the event of buyer’s remorse as stated on our Raise Guarantee page (www.raise.com/return-policy.) We will continue to ensure that Raise policy is adhered to and properly communicatedWe feel that this issue has been resolved in accordance with the Raise guarantee and apologize for any inconvenience
