I ordered from this company on what was to be a one time transaction. One month later my account was charged and I received more product that I did not want or order. I sent an email and, aside from a robo-response, never was contacted. One month later, I was charged again.
I have cancelled my card and disputed these charges.
They have confirmed my doubts about multi-level marketers.

This form had been sent in previously however the information did not match what was provided at the time the account was created. Due to the Ambassador signing up using her business we need the last four digits of her EIN number provided in order to verify identification. We do this for the protection of our Ambassadors. When the form is received back with the corrected information we will gladly cancel her account and refund the annual web hosting fee. I tried plexus on the referral of a friend who sold the product and I was told it would help in several of my health/weight concerns. I tried plexus for 2 months and then the nightmare began... I tried canceling my agreement by phone which I could never reach anyone, so I followed the directions and tried to cancel by email. the following month I was billed again so I returned the product and again tried calling and emailing, I received and email saying I had to have an approval to return products. To make a long story short I have been billed for 3 additional months, without product, I cannot get through on the phone, I can not get anyone to answer anymore emails, I was told I would be refunded for all 3 products but now I am told only 2 because time period has gone past refund for 1, that was 3 weeks ago and still no refunds. stay away from this company.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowi did not sign up as an embassotor. The person I was buying the product from sign me up as the embassotor to benefit herself to move up within the network.  She gained from signing me as an embassotor!  I in no way shape or form had, have or will in the future have any interest in selling the product or becoming a part of any type of network sales. I was not told anything to the fact that I was becoming a part if a network sales team until the instant I wanted to return the products!  How convenient how this works so this company can keep one's money. This is really s sad way of making money. Again I am going to ask that I receive a refund for the products as stated in your return policy as a consumer!!!

The complainant’s refund requests were denied due to the lack of evidence provided linking the complainant’s illness to Plexus products.
In the interests of resolving this complaint we will make an exception to the Ambassador return policy.
(Ambassadors may return product for a full refund upon notifying Plexus Customer Service within 5 days of receipt of their product purchase and upon receiving authorization. Product must be returned in resalable condition. A refund for the purchase price will only be made after the product has been returned and verified to be in satisfactory condition.)
The complainant will be refunded the purchase price for any products returned in resalable condition.

our Refunds Department for processing.We received one order on 3/25/2015 and the second on 3/30/2015. I have followed up with the Refunds Department and the refunds are scheduled for today, 3/31/2015.Please allow 5-7 business days for processing through our Merchant account and back to the complainants bank.I hope this meets the satisfaction of the complainant. Ordered the beginning of March. Received 2 emails. One was a welcome. The other had my log in info. 2 weeks go by and still no word on shipping. 3 days ago my shipping label has been printed, still not shipped. Received a third email with a youtube link with the CEO stating they had problems. No one has made contact with me abot my order and I haven't been able to reach anyone. Spent 3+ hours on hold trying to speak to someone with no support. Finally filed a claim with my bank to get my funds back. DO NOT USE.

 We are sorry to hear that the complainant’s personal information was compromised. We suggest they contact their bank as soon as possible to close their compromised bank account. 
If the complainant would like to provide more information about the fraudulent charge to help us locate it we can refund the charge. Please provide the last four numbers of the compromised card, the expiration date, the date of the charge and the exact amount of the charge.

Ambassador Return Policy
Ambassadors may return product for a full refund upon notifying Plexus Customer Service within 5 days of receipt of their product purchase and upon receiving authorization. Product must be returned in resalable condition. A refund for the purchase price will only be made after the product has been returned and verified to be in satisfactory condition. - See more at: [redacted]
The complainant was in contact with our customer service department within 5 days of their order [redacted] for return authorization. The order has yet to be returned in resalable condition however its USPS tracking number [redacted] reflects it was refused on 4-12-2016 and is being returned to the sender.
The complainant was in contact with our customer service department and the complainant’s order [redacted] dated 3/26/2016 was refunded, $153.35 today, 4-19-2016 back to the original payment method a card ending in [redacted].
Please allow 5-7 business days for these funds to reflect back into the complainant’s bank.
We apologize for the delay.

I replied to the complaint earlier today and stated that I had reached out to the person who signed up [redacted] and was waiting for a reply. I received a reply and she states they did discuss the return policy but incorrect information was given to [redacted]. Attached is the conversation between [redacted] and the person who signed her up, [redacted], which shows an offer of a refund was given to [redacted] but she declined it. [redacted] feels that Plexus misrepresented the return policy and should be the one to issue the refund. Plexus did not misrepresent the return policy in any way and post all of our return policies on our website and the Policy & Procedure she had to agree to at the time of sign up. We see both [redacted] and [redacted] being at fault with this situation. [redacted] agreed to the Policy & Procedure without reading it and [redacted] gave [redacted] wrong information about the return policy.

 

Because our distributor gave incorrect information we would be more than happy to issue refund for the product [redacted] purchased. We will not need the unused product to be returned to us to process the refund and have issued refund in the amount of $239.06. We do not issue refund for shipping.

I appreciate the refund and the other information provided; however,  I would like instructions as to how to order the SLIM this month at the preferred customer price of $79.99 minus the 10% discount.  The direct contact number for problem resolution referred to in the response of Plexus did not come through with the message I received via the Revdex.com.

I've placed a few orders for Plexus products and have noticed that the tax rate was calculated incorrectly. I have submitted several e-mails and phone calls but have not received a response to address this issue. I only received an automated reply.
I would like to have an explanation regarding how the taxes are calculated.

The complainant’s order [redacted] has been reshipped with the UPS overnight tracking number [redacted] to ensure its prompt delivery.
