While we haven't unwrapped it yet. We have the rug, its the correct color and we are really happy to finally have the rug. We did choose to pick it up and thats ok :)We also thank you so much for helping to get making sure that the rug was shipped, delivered and we sincerely feel this was just a one time event. I have shopped at Pier 1 and lovedeverything I have purchased over the years. We look forward to purchasing many more amazing items. I have tried several times to contact pier 1 before the item was discarded due to the fact that it was extremely hazardous and dangerous to have broken glass in my house. I did not recieve a call after leaving numerous messages for a manager to call me back and even called different store locations. When I picked up the item I was told I was not able to open the box to inspect the item otherwise they would not help load the box in the car. I disputed the charge since I was not getting a respond and credit card was advised I assumed by pier 1 to discard the item so my family and I don't get injured. Pier 1 just responded with their return policy and saying not within return policy so can't help. This whole time I have been trying to resolve this within the return policy. I finally got a call after the Revdex.com complaint and was told they would help me and understood my frustration that I have been dealing with for so long. I never heard back after an email I sent to them. I was never told they needed pictures to document what had happened. I'm very disappointed that this company would rather harm a loyal client than able to assist them. This is the worst customer service I have experienced ever. They have neglect me and my request for a refund for an damaged item they sold to me . That is not fair or right. They are not taking responsibility for how they have treat me and how they have handled this situation.

I accept the fact that they state they will deliver my rug. Upon speaking to their representative, that is something that was agreed upon before they called. The real issue is that I do not have the rug still yet.I was told by the company that it was a matter of call and having it delivered to the store by a satellite store where it is sitting. Upon speaking to them, they state the rug is still in Georgia and they cannot even tellme if it is the correct color yet. They state they will have the rug in my are store on Friday. When I spoke to the Companies rep., I stated to him that the only outcome for me would be to actually receive the rugpromptly and receive the correct rug and correct color. Therefore, I respectfully request that this not be closed completely until this transaction is actually completed and settled. It is not merely settled by a phone call and stating that the store will deliver it free. Can we actually make sure there is a delivered rug, and it is actually the correct rug. I appreciate the prompt phone call, but we still have no rug.
I looked up our customer [redacted], she was taken care of on January 26, 2018. We sent her a $25.00 gift card and she is happy with Pier 1 Imports again.
