Nationwide Business Concepts Reviews (324)

Ashley will be contacted to make an arrangement for a return.

I have reviewed the response made by the business...

in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted]pp DID NOT place, nor authorize any order.  The people that called from NBC asked for her name and to verify Peak Health's mailing address - this is a common request for our business.  She DOES NOT have the authority to place or approve such an order unless specifically directed by the owner of our Company.  NBC solicited Peak Health - no one sought out their service from Peak Health.  NBC presented this as an order that had to be approved ASAP in order to take advantage of some lower prices.  They called me first a week before they spoke with [redacted]  I told them that I did not believe we had placed any order with them and could not approve anything.  They called back the next week and Leigh Ann happened to answer the phone.  NBCs business practices are fraudulent.
Regards,
[redacted]

Nationwide Business Concepts has waived the restocking fee and issued a return. Also I think [redacted] is looking up the wrong company because we have never had any complaint reach the federal court. If an order was placed in error we have done everything on our end to accommodate the consumer....

When the items are returned we will credit the account.

Below I have attached the response to complaint # [redacted].

[redacted] was contacted today in regards to Invoice # [redacted] and the matter was resolved. [redacted] placed an...

order on 4/30/2014 and after confirmation it was shipped out. Unfortunately [redacted] contacted Nationwide Business Concepts after the 30 day return policy we were not able to authorize a return shipping label. The Xerox supply has been returned and the account has been credited. A restocking fee is applied to all returns but I waived it in this case.

This company calls multiple times and when you tell them you do not want their service they still send you the toner. When I contacted customer service "[redacted]" was very rude and stated that my front desk had ordered the toner when told she did not "[redacted]" said fine I will send this to collections and hung up on me. BEWARE!

Nationwide Business Concepts is working diligently to resolve this matter. We have provided all UPS signed proof of deliveries. As we all know signature pads are usually just scribbled on and we are not liable for anything eligible. We have requested multiple times for return tracking information....

Our warehouse has not received any of the supplies back and we have no way of verifying there return without tracking information. Once we have that information we will be able to investigate this matter further.

This business called one of our branch offices posing as our current printer leasing company. They were able to get unknowing employees to give out our printer model numbers. They told us we needed toner and it was going to cost $500. We later received an invoice for the toner. We have not received any toner nor payed the invoice. We obviously will not pay the invoice.
This is a classic phone toner scam. They hope the invoice will get payed undetected at which point they ship out low grade, low quality, non genuine toner. This is how they make their money.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that...

this resolution would be satisfactory to me as long as NBC cancels all remaining invoice upon receiving six toner cartridges from our firm.  I need for NBC to send me an address of where to return along with shipping label information.  Specifically, I would like call tag information, so that there isn't any confusion about our account receiving a credit.  I will wait for the business to cancel all of all outstanding invoices for our firm and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Nationwide Business Concepts has contacted [redacted] and has arranged a return. Once the supplies have been returned the account will be credited and closed. The account was discussed in detail and the matter has been resolved.

Nationwide Business Concepts attempted to reach [redacted] and was unsuccessful. She was emailed a return form to close out the account. Once the supplies have been returned the account will be credited.

I am glad that our account is credited and that we've been placed on the "do not call list".  But the point of my complaint is the crafty way that this business goes about trying to get orders - it is unethical, and I would be surprised if it's legal.  My biggest complaint is that WE DID NOT PLACE THIS ORDER.  This company uses tactics that are below board in order to get "sales", in the hopes that the business they're "selling" to is not organized enough to notice that they have been invoiced for something they did not order.  Fortunately, we caught them in the act.

The company called asking if I would accept toners for my copier. I asked for what type of copier was the toner for. He replied, "Its the MFC printer."
The sales representative alleged that we have been doing business with them for quite some time.
I am a small business owner. I personally deal with all vendors. This is the first time I have heard of their company.
I was dubious of the caller, because my phone was not reflecting a phone number.
When I asked for a phone number he gave me (844)507-0458.
I called the number ... the phone forwards the call to a [redacted] shop with a different area code.

[We did not order the toner, we cannot find the toner, if it ever was delivered. If the business wants to send a representative to school to locate toner, that will be fine and they can take it with them. We have wasted too much time( paid time) as is on a situation that we did not initiate.  ]

Same issue as everyone else here has stated. After a few months finally they sent a return shipping label for us to send back their 1000% overpriced toner. Our toner costs about $50.00 each but they charge almost $500.00 for the same toner! Before this they actually threatened us with their "Legal Dept". I had to laugh while talking with their "account manager". I am sure without any doubt that my 4 returned toners will be sent out to someone else who will find out that this company is a complete SCAM. Deserves NO star rating at all.

Review: I was transferred a call from our front desk regarding an ink toner order, which I had actually placed one a month prior with our vendor that we have a contract with, the person seemed very rushed and flustered trying to verify my address to send my order. After receiving I quickly found out this wasn't what we ordered, nor was it the vendor we usually use for products. I called and told them I needed to return the product because they got the order wrong, they let me know I would have to pay to return it. It seemed very weird so I got ahold of them to ask them who initiated this order and they told me that I had! I corrected them and told them that they called me and needed to know who initiated the call; the woman on the phone tried to avoid the question. She quickly said that I was correct and that she would mark it as waiting for return and hung up. After looking up the company I saw many complaints very similar to mine., 41 in the past 12 months to be exact, and saw many scams especially from California. I consulted with my boss and she determined that we will not pay to return the item they will need to pick it up themselves.Desired Settlement: No further contact with our offices and if they would like this stuff back they need to send a return slip because we will not pay for this.

[redacted] was provided with a Return Authorization on 9/4/15. Once the supplies have been returned we will close out the account.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Their response is correct they did say I could return the product and they would clear out the order. The company also said I would have to pay for the toners to be returned and they needed to be packaged separately, even though they came in one box. We will not pay for the cost to return this product since we did not order this. If they would like their product back they need to email me a return label and I will send it back in the box it came in. They do have my email as well since they sent me a return slip that was supposed to go inside the return box. I will not field anymore calls from this company or waste any more time dealing with this issue.

Response:

I attempted to reach [redacted] today and was unsuccessful unsuccessful. The supplies are to be returned in any box (can be the same it was shipped in). We state that it has to be in a box to avoid any damage in transit. Supplies are to be returned the same way they were shipped to avoid any damages.

Review: NBC company representative contacted me asking how my order was for printer toner as a "courtesy". They misrepresented themselves as our regular supplier. They then sent a supply of toner and an invoice. The use a common name (NBC) that is deceptive to the accounts payable department. They charge more than twice what the item is worth on top of it. We did NOT authorize NBC to send us a supply a toner. We thought they were are regular supplier when they called because of their vagueness and saying we are you normal account rep. When I asked to return the item on 3/2/15 and to cancel the account I was told there was a restocking fee. A restocking fee for something we never authorized to be sent to us. We have never done business with this company. They are scam. We refused to pay the invoice. We happy to ship the item back at their expense.~[redacted]IT Manager[redacted]Desired Settlement: Allow item to be returned with no stocking mailing return fee. Close account.

Response:

Nationwide Business Solutions left a message today for [redacted] to resolve this matter.

Review: Our customer relations specialist received a phone call from someone representing themselves as a Cannon employee who was confirming an order for toner that we had allegedly placed. This person stated that our toner order would be delayed because of a price increase, and so they were shipping the toner from a different vendor to secure better pricing. Our employee is not authorized to order products or supplies, but the caller only stated that they were confirming an already placed order, our mailing address, and our employee's name. A few days later, we received a toner cartridge from Nationwide Business Concepts via Fedex to the attention of our employee, with an exorbitant invoice of $489.25. Upon contacting the company, they stated that our employee had authorized the order. I reiterated that we did not order nor do we want the toner from this company. The woman who took my call stated that I would need to talk with the employees supervisor because she did authorize the order. This is a false statement - our employee answers the phone, she does not have the authority to authorized an order. The NBC employee was argumentative. The NBC employee stated that they would accept the toner cartridge back, however, they would charge a 20% restocking fee amounting to $93.90. I stated we did not order the item, we do not want it and want to return it at no cost. The NBC employee told me that it had to be returned at Peak Health's expense or we would be charged for the entire shipment. She stated she would send me a return form and that if I did not do this within 30 days we would be charged for the entire shipment and if we returned it would be responsible for the $93.90 charge. I talked with the NBC representative yesterday and have not received the faxed return form that she said she would. Nationwide Business Concepts conducts fraudulent business practices.Desired Settlement: We would like to return the toner at no charge. We would like the order completely canceled as it was never authorized. We would like our balance zeroed out. We would like our company removed from their solicitation list. We desire the harassment to cease. Do not contact anyone at this company after this issue is resolved.

Regards,

Review: The first called and said we owed over $400 dollars for a printer we didn't order or receive. Then they phished my receptionist to give them one of printer model numbers so they could send toner we didn't order and then bill us for it. The company flat out lied to my receptionist saying they were our current toner provider. The company is 100% a scam. I've told them repeatedly that we won't do business with them yet they still continue to call and attempting to phish information out of low level employees.Desired Settlement: I want the company to stop calling and stop sending our company scam merchandise and trying to bill us for it.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that while they are still clearly lying because items that I never received obviously were never returned, however this resolution would be satisfactory to me assuming they seize all communication with our company. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

Review: Someone from this company contacted me and informed me they were are current canon dealer and they needed information on our printer. I gave them the information thinking they were our current dealer and a few weeks later we received a toner cartridge (I was not in the office to sign for it). Soon after we receive a call saying we have a past due balance of $489.25 for a cartridge that is already covered under a service agreement with Cannon. I contact someone by the name of [redacted] she forwards me a copy of the invoice and I informed her this was not authorized and please send a postage paid return label and I would return the merchandise to her. After the phone call I started going some research. From the looks of it this company has a major scam going and this is the way they conduct business. So I sent another email attaching my finds and request for the second time a postage paid return label and its been over a month now and I was contacted by the company again today by a [redacted] she informed me that I had to pay for the return postage that she would send me a return label. I informed her I never authorized the purchase in the first place so I refuse to pay shipping! I have no problem returning the merchandise as it is still in the original box but I refuse to pay out of my pocket for something that was never authorized or needed!Desired Settlement: Please send a postage paid return label or credit our account. We also want to be added to a DO NOT CALL LIST!!!

Regards,

A similar situation happened to our company as the previous review from 5/5/15. No one from our office placed an order with this company. My guess is they also called and phished for details regarding our equipment. No one in our office had even heard of this company until we received a package from them with a hefty invoice. We ended up using the first toner that was sent, and paid the large invoice. Then a couple months later they sent us TWO MORE TONERS without an order being placed. We have been dealing with them since May trying to receive a shipping label to return these products that we WILL NOT be using and DID NOT place an order for. They sent us a return authorization form, but no shipping labels. Our company will not be paying for the return shipping as we DID NOT order these products.
