Hello [redacted], In regard to the carpet...
cleaning, I never spoke with her. As far as not requesting it be done, it could have been a mistake on our part or on the person that called in the carpet clean. Sometimes we have residents get confused about their apartment numbers, so we may have been given misinformation. Any contractor that we use on property is required to carry high amounts of insurance for liability, etc. Upon entering the carpet company realized that this apartment was not ready to be cleaned, and came back to the office to check with us. At this time they were told not to clean it so that we could make sure it was the correct apartment number. In regard to the 60 day notice, the TAA lease specifically states a 60 day notice must be received on the first, for a move out on the last day of the month. She did not provide notice to move on or before the 1st, therefore she was responsible for an additional month. We send notices to all residents at least 75 days prior to their lease expiring letting them know the requirements so that they do not miss the proper notice timeframe. We also follow up with phone calls. In her case we were offering "Early Bird" renewals so the 1st contact was on 5/19, so she had far more than enough time to bring in proper notice before the 1st of July, as required. In addition, she skipped out early, owing us money in the amount of $3859.34 for rent, damages, etc. Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me. Regards, [redacted]

I don't know what account they're trying to credit, but it's not mine. Please send an old-fashioned paper check to my mailing address they have on file. Let's end this four-month problem. Thank you.
