Dear [redacted], Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation through the Revdex.com regarding your Xbox Live account. Your Gamertag was found to be in violation of the Xbox Terms of Use or the Xbox Live Code of Conduct and subsequently banned from accessing Xbox Live. We have taken additional steps to review and reconfirm the enforcement action taken against the Gamertag and stand behind the decision. For further details on what kinds of behaviors or actions led to the account suspension, please review the websites listed below. Xbox has no obligation to provide you with specifics regarding your violation. We will no longer be responding to any further requests concerning your enforcement action as this matter is closed. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I full admit and understand that the warranty is expired. This complaint is about that exact issue. The warranty on this $150 controller accessory is the same length as the warranty on the controller that came with my console, and the $60 normal controller available for purchase. That is laughable. I expect that a premium product be premium both in quality (which it was not if it broke within a couple months) and coverage (which it is not if the warranty is the same as the normal model). This response is not acceptable from a customer perspective, as should be evidenced by the many, many, many complaints about this problem online.Sincerely,[redacted]

Dear [redacted],
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation via the Revdex.com regarding an issue with your Xbox replacement order. With the information you provided in your claim, we were able to locate your account and service request for this matter. Our records indicate...

that the issue was resolved with one of our agents, who created a fulfillment order for your HDMI cable, which you recently received in the mail. We understand the code for three months of prepaid Xbox Live that was promised was not included - the agent should be providing it in an e-mail soon. If this does not happen, please let us know and we will be happy to further investigate. We appreciate your patience with this matter.
Sincerely,
Microsoft Corporation

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: they are not listening, the reporting functionality is being exploited and they don't want to hear me out. More and more innocent consumers are being robbed especially young kids and Microsoft is not willing to cooperate. They tell us to follow the policy and code of conduct but how when that is being manipulated, are they really rules anymore when they can be exploited? The enforcement team is outdated and needs to be updated. If I can not reach the mangers of the enforcement team I will have no choice but to take legal action, the code of conduct is not enough to save Microsoft especially when I have proof of how easy it is to be manipulated and get innocent consumers banned.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr [redacted],My name is [redacted] and I work for Skype Customer Relations Office. My duties include responding to customer complaints.I received your complaint from Revdex.com that you have experienced issues with Skype. I'm very sorry to read that and I will gladly assist you further. Our Anti-Fraud systems...

detected fraudulent activity on the Skype account on October 15th. The reason we blocked your Skype account, is to make sure that the fraudsters cannot continue to misuse the account, which could result in additional cost on your Skype account. Our usual policy is that we will remove the restriction from a Skype account as soon as we have done a few security/identity checks, to make sure we open the account for the rightful owner and not for the fraudsters. The necessary checks after an incident like that include the verification of some of your payment details as well as the necessity to change your Skype account password.I have manually verified the account and adjusted the account settings so that you can change the password on the account. After you have changed the password, please confirm this to me and I will unblock the account. Please try to change the password on the account as soon as possible here: https://login.skype.com/recovery?application=accountAfter changing the password, please confirm the change and I can fully unblock your Skype account. It is very important to change the password in order to make sure that you get back full access to your Skype account.Choosing a secure password to access your Skype account is crucial. Hackers use lists of common passwords to access accounts (not only on Skype but across all websites). It is therefore critical that you use a strong, unique password. I strongly recommend you to change your Skype password regularly to make sure that you have a secure account.Viruses can damage your computer and collect your private data, regardless of whether you are using Skype or not. Avoid this by following these tips:Most viruses these days come in the form of email attachments so don't open attachments from people you don't know, or suspicious-looking attachments even from people you know. When in doubt, always contact the sender to confirm the email is legitimate, even if it looks harmless (such as an e-card or funny picture) at first sight.I hope this response has been helpful.Again, we apologize for any possible inconveniences caused by this. I appreciate your patience and understanding.Kind regards,[redacted] Customer Relations OfficeSkype

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I understand Microsoft is not obligated to do anything, just as I was not obligated to try Bing. For the sake of continuing to think of Microsoft as an ethical company, I requested an explanation to a simple issue. However, regardless of whether an explanation is provided or not, I also want to be able to redeem the rewards I earned. I allowed those points to accumulate with the confidence that I would be able to redeem them all at a later date, but they were suddenly gone when the account was unfairly closed.Sincerely,[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/12/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Microsoft does not answer their phone. It feels like once they find out you want your money back, they drop the call. Very disturbing. I've tried numerous times. I don't have my kids account to go online to do anything so am stuck. Someone can call me at XXX-XXX-XXXX or email me at [redacted]@ir2.com

Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/01/13) */
Dear [redacted],
Thank you for contacting Microsoft Corporation via the Revdex.com regarding your request for a refund. We would like to investigate your claim further, but need some additional information to continue. When your kids' Xbox account was created, did you give them their own account, or did you create a parent account to manage their access? If you can please ask your kids what their gamertag is, we can do some account research to determine where the charges are coming from.
Sincerely,
Microsoft Corporation
