Review: I had a title loan with Maximum title loans. Afte repayment they failed to release my lein, update my credit report and provide documentation that my loan was paid in full. I have attempted to contact the business several times for resolve but have been harrassed and not provided with the documentation or updates I need. I want a letter stating my debt has been paid in full and as of what date and I expect my credit report to be updated as well. I am trying to purchase a home and this is the only thing holding this up.

The employees of the business failed to return calls or have put me on hold and never come back to the line. I was told by the receptionist at the scottdale location that they would get to it when they had time. This loan has been paid off for over 8 months.Desired Settlement: I want an apology in writing from [redacted] the store manager in charge and I want my credit report to be updatedl and I want the letter I need showing the debt is paid in full, The way I have been treated is unacceptable,

Our records indicate that we mailed a letter indicating account satisfied on September 29. Client called again on October 9 and another letter was mailed. Our records indicate as of October 9, [redacted] cell phone was not accepting incoming calls.

I would absolutely recommend this amazing company to my family and friends. The agent had superior customer service. I immediately felt at ease and appreciate the welcoming from the agent.

I have debated about getting a title loan for some time now, and when I went into Maximum Title Loans, I was immediately greeted by a friendly smile. The girls who helped me were really informative and didn't mind answering any of my questions, which makes my whole process of getting a loan a lot easier. I would recommend Maximum Title Loans for anyone who ever considers getting a title loan.

This business charges you 150% interest and interest on the interest. There is no way you can ever get them paid off. They treat you badly, yell and with no respect. I would advise everyone to not work with them and definitely stay away from [redacted] and [redacted]. They have no respect and treat the customers as if they are sm. We are all equal and trying to get ahead. This business is a rip off.

I had a family emergency my son was in ICU I called and let them Know My payment would be late they said that shouldn't be a problem , made my payment got a call saying I owed another $100 or I would be in default , told them I talked to someone < my son was in ICU , basically said we do not care , tried to get a payoff early on Friday was had to be by email and they closed at 5pm, of course No One got back to me until Monday at 4pm and charged me almost $300 more , this place is the worst, and the managers and people in charge should not be recommended by Revdex.com

They have been there when I needed help paying bills. I'm glad I went to maximum title loan.

Review: Maximum title loans has been calling me in an attempt to locate a friend who took out a loan. I have repeatedly told them to remove my name from the listings looking for him, but they do not.

I continue to receive calls from their business looking for my friend, and I continue to tell them to stop calling me. It has become harassment at this point.Desired Settlement: I want Maximum Title Loans to stop calling me when I tell them to stop calling me.

[redacted] was such a great help to us in our time of need and I would refer anyone to this title loan company, mostly due to the amazing customer service that we received and the willingness to be solution-oriented. I have never taken out a title loan and not only did [redacted] explain that it is meant to help us, but also explained the terms, which really are very flexible. In fact, we can pay off our title loan at any time with no pre-payment penalty. If I had to refer family and friends to anyone, it would be *aximum Title Loans!

Review: My loan has been paid in full for going on 14 months now, and despite numerous and repeated demands both verbally and in writing, they have provided conflicting loan information about my account and have failed to provide a full accounting in writing and release of the lien on my title, which has wrongfully placed a cloud on my title and made it impossible for me to sell my vehicle. They also recently attempted a wrongful repossession contrary to the terms of our agreement and by giving false information to the agent, all to my substantial damage and injury.nHarassment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.Desired Settlement: Immediate Release of lien in full against the title to my vehicle and return of the title clean and free of any and all liens. Account balance reflected as paid in full as agreed and correction of any derogatory information reported to any third parties and/or collection agencies.

I still can't find this complaint anywhere in our system. However, I do know that [redacted] and Maximum Title Loans are seeking a resolution through a mediator. This was a misunderstanding as [redacted] was our attorney (she has since been disbarred) who did work for us in exchange for an interest free loan.

I saw her at her new place of employment and we agreed to work it out with a mediator. Please contact [redacted] to confirm as I can't find this complaint on the website.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and agree that Mr. [redacted] and I have been in touch about attempting to resolve this matter through the use of a private mediator. We are both in the process of attempting to locate and contact potential mediator(s) to make such an arrangement. However, even in his response to the complaint with the Revdex.com, Mr. [redacted] acknowledges again that the attorneys' fees and costs owed by Maximum Title to me for services rendered were to be in exchange for and credited to an interest free loan, and if this had been in fact done as agreed, then my loan should have been deemed paid in full and the title to my vehicle released back in May of 2013, or at the very latest October 2013. If a resolution can be reached through the agreed to mediation that is satisfactory to me, then I will consider this complaint resolved.

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I understand you are the handler for the above-referenced Complaint. This Complaint was "closed" due to a tentative agreement between myself and Mr. C[redacted] the owner of Maximum Title Loans, that was intended to resolve this matter via mediation. However, I could not get Mr. C[redacted] to agree to a mediator or date as agreed, and its now been another year plus (over 26 months now) without being able to get things resolved and without my title to my car being released, despite my account being paid in full since 5/2013. Since MTL has failed to abide by our agreement, I would like this Complaint number reopened. Please advise what is required to reopen this Complaint on the website and post further information to supplement the Complaint.Thank you,[redacted]

Review: I have had an auto title loan with Maximum Title Loans for several years.

Interest payment was due on 11/8. On 11/16, I called MTL and told them I planned to sell the car, then pay off the loan and interest. Rep agreed to my proposal.

My car was repossessed on Saturday, 11/21, when interest was 14 days past due. I received no notification that our agreement would not be kept.

On Monday, 11/23, I spoke to an MTL rep, asked that MTL hold to our agreement of 11/16, that repo fee be reversed and car returned to me. They refused.

I tried over a period of three weeks to obtain the name and email of the owner of MTL. The reps I spoke with refused to allow me to contact him. Finally, on 12/15, I was given the information.

On 12/15 I asked the owner by email to return the car; he waited until two weeks later to respond to me. He said my car had been sold at auction on 12/29.

I've received no written notice of the sale of the vehicle nor any written accounting of balance due.

They have repeatedly harassed, threatened and bullied me and my contacts. They continue to call up to 9 times a day, plus emails and voice messages.

I have twice sent emails requesting that they stop phoning me and my contacts and have told them over the phone to stop calling me. All requests have been ignored.

The car was worth much more in a private sale than at auction. Had MTL held to our agreement of 11/16, I would have sold the car and paid off the loan long ago. I have asked MTL to write off the loan and mark it "Paid in Full". I've received no response.Desired Settlement: That my account be marked "Paid in Full" and closed. No further contact from them.

[redacted], your payment was due 11/7 - our notes indicate you finally communicated with us after you were 11 days past due. We told you payment had to be made, even if you planned on selling the car. Car was in possession as of 11/23 and sold a few weeks later. You called us only after car was sold in December. Our records indicate, you have not communicated with us regarding the deficiency owed on your account albeit our attempts to satisfy the account. We are happy to resolve the account if you contact our legal department.

On 11/16, when the payment was nine days due, I called and spoke with a Maximum Title rep, told her I planned to sell the car and then pay off the loan and all interest due. She said okay. She did not tell me the payment had to be made even if I planned to sell the car. The car was repossessed 5 days later, on 11/21. I was given no notice that Maximum Title would not keep its agreement with me and no chance to make other arrangements.

Awesome to work with, very professional and listen to what I needed, I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. 5 star

Very positive experience. Going to a title loan place is usually out of necessity and can be very uncomfortable, but the staff made me feel comfortable and they were very helpful. From the first phone call I felt no stress. [redacted] was very professional yet caring. He was informative and knowledgeable. He was also fast and efficient. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Review: On July 7th 2014 I recieved 2 phones from ###-###-#### and 1 from ###-###-#### - A male called me in regards to my Son and his loan, he was trying to reach him. I am apparently a reference and he was asking me to reach my son. I told him I could only tell him and that I could not force him to call. I then asked him not to call me anymore, I am in IL, not AZ. He said he could not guarantee this. I hung up. He immediately called me back from the 928 phone number and called my son an it, I told him at this point I would definately file a compliant- I did receive another call from the 480 number immediately after that, but they did not leave a message - I find this behavior very unprofessional, and I definately will be taking this furtherDesired Settlement: Any further calls I will call the police dept for harrassment and further outcome

This is not the kind of behavior anyone at our company would ever engage in. Unfortunately our industry has a high default rate and many people choose not to pay us back per their contract. Please contact your son and ask him to adhere to the contract and do the right thing.

If he cannot pay the minimum amount due, he can surrender the vehicle that not only any lender would require but as is also required by Law. Many people make claims about phone calls they receive but since we do not record our calls, I cannot attest to the conversation that took place. I have spoken to our recovery department and your allegations were resoundingly denied.

Again, please help your son and encourage him to avoid any further legal action by making his payment. Thank you,

I am not happy with his response, he obviously does not realize what his employees do, or he siding with them, I have plenty of people who heard the conversation, he was on speaker, unfortunately I did not get his name. What I want is for them to stop calling me, and in the future when dealing with people, maybe learn how!

watch out for this place they are very shady! have tried for 3 months to get diffrent payoffs from them after the owner said she would send them and never did, tried to call her and she would never return calls. have tried many many times and they never respond, now that they have gone to facebook and tried to friend our friends and leave nasty messages for us we have got a lawyer

The staff at the [redacted] location were absolutely wonderful. They made us feel very comfortable and we loved working with them.
