This is not correct. I was speaking directly to the representative who identified...
himself as "Bo". He was immediately nasty to me and insulted me when I addressed his attitude with me. I WILL NOT allow ANYBODY claiming to be a "professional" to curse at me or use derogatory language. Regardless if the account is in "default", the Attorney General's office finds it very interesting that we were insulted and treated in such way. A "late" bill does not allow for any person employed by a company to insult the customer. NEVER.
Client is in default and refused to speak to us directly. Instead, she asked her husand to speak to us in which case we told them they needed to pay or surrender the vehicle. The account remains 54 days past due.

I had a horrible experience trying to Ibtain my title back after paying off my title loan, they always say they will call me back but never did, it's been 33 days after y paid my loan and thy just told me that I'm harassing them, not even one curtesy call, I called them on Friday, and today again and the lady hung up on me I called them back and they say I'm harassing them...? looks like they totally forgot to release my title with the DMV and they just did that yesterday but still no excuse for not communicating with the customer, but if you are a day late they will call you non stop!
Maximum has made multiple attempts to collect the $200 overpayment to which [redacted] has refused to repay. Why do you need proof if you deposited the check into your account and have a copy of the contract? Furthermore, you have stated to our representative Tahiri that this was our...
mistake and you weren't going to pay for it, clearly acknowledging the overpayment and refusing to do the right thing. We have given you the option to sign a new contract with the adjusted amount to which you have refused as well. We are left with no option but to take legal action against you. Often times people who can't pay their title loans resort to filing complaints with various institutions to attempt to apply pressure and make us "go away". Sir, you and your wife [redacted] have clearly stolen money from our company and we need it back, plain and simple.
If there is a refund due, that should come from [redacted]. As stated by the client, "the amount [redacted] charged me is outrageous". Please refer the client to [redacted] for any possible refunds. Thanks
On 11/16, when the payment was nine days due, I called and spoke with a Maximum Title rep, told her I planned to sell the car and then pay off the loan and all interest due. She said okay. She did not tell me the payment had to be made even if I planned to sell the car. The car was repossessed 5 days later, on 11/21. I was given no notice that Maximum Title would not keep its agreement with me and no chance to make other arrangements.
I spoke with a Maximum Title rep (Jennifer) on 11/23, asking that the car be returned to me. She refused. I tried several times over the next three weeks to contact the owner of Maximum Title, but the staff I spoke to refused to give me his name and contact information. On 11/15, I finally reached a rep who was willing to give up the owner’s contact info. I emailed him that day. He responded 2 weeks later, after the car had been sold - he said. To date, I have received no written confirmation of the sale of my car. In spite of several other attempts to contact him, he has not responded.
Although Maximum Title is claiming that I have not attempted to contact them re my account, they are mistaken. I have sent separate emails to the owner on December 15, February 5, and February 19. I have spoken to staff members who have harangued and threatened me. I still receive emails threatening to repossess my car.
I was dependent on the sale of my car to pay off the loan. If my car had not been repossessed, the loan would have been paid in full months ago. Therefore, I believe a just resolution to this matter is that Maximum Title Loans closes my account, marks it “Paid in Full” and sends me a letter to that effect.

I understand you are the handler for the above-referenced Complaint. This Complaint was "closed" due to a tentative agreement between myself and Mr. C[redacted] the owner of Maximum Title Loans, that was intended to resolve this matter via mediation. However, I could not get Mr. C[redacted] to agree to a mediator or date as agreed, and its now been another year plus (over 26 months now) without being able to get things resolved and without my title to my car being released, despite my account being paid in full since 5/2013. Since MTL has failed to abide by our agreement, I would like this Complaint number reopened. Please advise what is required to reopen this Complaint on the website and post further information to supplement the Complaint.

Our records indicate that we mailed a letter indicating account satisfied on September 29. Client called again on October 9 and another letter was mailed. Our records indicate as of October 9, [redacted] cell phone was not accepting incoming calls.

If you made a payment on April 5th, we have no record of that. As you know, our contract stated you must call and claim your payment if its made to wells fargo. This is a general account that get dozens of payments deposited, transferred, etc daily.
Could you possibly have forgotten to call in your payment? This does happen quite frequently which is why we have strongly encouraged payments on our website by debit card. Please let us know? Thanks
Very friendly staff and very professional. I had a great time this second visit with Carmen, she remember my name and took care of me for the second time. I had a great time speaking with her, she is my favorite.

I had a great experience with Carmen at the Chandler office. She made me feel welcome and didn't keep me there longer than was necessary. I have gotten loans from them before and will continue to go through Maximum in the future.
I have spoken and delt with mutiple Reps and if you are a person who sticks to his/her word this is the place for you. Good business takes both sides communicating and following through. They all do this, do you? This company and the representatives understood my needs and took care of me. Communicating between multiple stores to help me and even waited for me when the store was due to close. Stayed late no hesitation with a smile and perosnable and efficient service. Very family friendly. Respect them as you would your own family and you will feel the love. Thanks to you all. [redacted] in Chandler, your the man! Thank you for your great communication skills. You directed me to a rep in Scottsdale and if I am not mistaken [redacted]..a special shout to you both. I apologize if incorrect you know who you are.) I even spoke with the business partner whom spoke with me about 2 hours before they opened. Ran a quote for me to give me peace of mind. Then the owner called himself to see if I needed anything. Had no idea I spoke with his partner just wanted to see if he could help. Very refreshing!
Total scam and false advertising. The website states that they don't check your credit, if that was true, why do they still need your Social Security number and still check your credit for judgements. They also will advertise on the website what you are able to borrow on your vehicle and it is listed as the private party value. Then, when you go in to the store, they will tell you its worth nothing and will only give you blackbook value unless you have very very high income, 40,000 isnt enough you need more to actually qualify. They tout the Revdex.com A rating on their site, but they are very deceptive in their advertising. I wouldnt waste your time.
I took out a title loan from Maximum Title. Two weeks later I found that I could decrease my interest rate by 5% with another company. I contacted them for a payoff and they refused to do it would coming down in person after they had previously given it to me over the phone. Once they found out I was going to use another company, they made it difficult for me to get a pay off and then told me they could reduce my interest rate down. Why didn't they give me a lower interest rate to begin with was my question. They did everything they could not to provide a quote so they could make additional interest off the loan for an additional 2 days. They were argumentative on the phone and not customer friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to investigate their interest rates before using them. They claim to have the lowest in town, which was not true.

I was kinda short of a down payment and when I searched through online I found this place.They have excellent customer service and have great deals also. Normally most of title loans places have bi weekly pay but here it's 30 days. Highly recommend this place if you looking for quick cash loans..
I had a very great experience. the employes were very friendly. no hassels what so ever. GREAT PLACE. I know where I will go if I need another title loan.
