Misleading inspections
I would say about 80% of the inspectors that lemon squad employee know nothing about vehicles and have poor writing skills, this is where the reviewers come in. They take a completed inspection usually compiled of a sentence or two and rewrite the entire inspection never having seen the vehicle they are writing the inspection for. This should be a crime. People are paying for a service that most are not getting because the people who are rewriting the inspection report have never seen the vehicle. If people who have used lemon squads service would compare their inspections they would see most are written using the same words. This is because only a handful of people are writing most of the inspections. Have you ever called lemon squad to get info on a vehicle that you had inspected and spoke with someone that goes over the vehicle with you and they tell you they are not the inspector? You are speaking to a reviewer and the reviewer is the person who either wrote or rewrote your inspection to look presentable. I believe if a person pays for a service they should get what they are paying for. A vehicle purchase is a big investment and it is very misleading for someone who hasn’t seen the vehicle to write the report. Buyer beware.

I encourage anyone who has had a vehicle inspection by lemon squad to post it here and compare the verbiage used. Most will see the same language is used because it’s a handful of people writing them. With thousands of inspector country wide, it would be impossible for everyone to write a similar report. Most reports are poorly written by inspectors that barely check the vehicle, knowing this lemon squad hires “reviewers” to rewrite the reports to make them look presentable. They use a lot of the same script. Sadly customers are paying for a service most are not receiving.

I purchased a lemon squad inspector to come inspect a Porshe I was looking into purchasing. Once I received the inspection report back it turned out to be clean. The next day I decided that I was going to go ahead and purchase the vehicle. After I drive the car off the lot I noticed a weird noise coming from the back of the car but ignored it due to the fact that the vehicle was just inspected and there’s no way a noise so obvious would not show up on the report. After 3 days of driving the car I decided to take the vehicle to my trusted mechanic and was told that the water pump went out and that I needed a new belt. Once he replaced the parts he showed me what was wrong with the parts in hand. To some up the story I highly recommend getting a REAL 300 point inspection by any ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC instead of using these yo-yo’s.

Hi Stephen,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your vehicle. Please keep in mind that this vehicle is 14 years old and there is the possibility of impending failures that are not evident at the time of the inspection. In other words, if it is not failing at the time of the inspection, we will not know that it is failing. We have also checked with our ASE Certified Tech and he did not see this humming noise while we were there. Otherwise, this would have been noted in the report. Again we are sorry that you are not happy with your vehicle, but we wish you many miles. - Lemon Squad Team

Listen I understand that you have to come back with an answer because you guys obviously want to look like a reputable company but theres a reason why it’s very easy to dispute a charge from a company like this and I’m surprised that you have the rating that you do. The ASE certified mechanic mentioned that the problem looked like it was going on for a while and it was very unlikely that this could’ve happened within the 50 miles that was driven on the car. The fact that you didn’t put the car on a lift is another issue. I get that you guys don’t unscrew the car to check out the parts but you guys didn’t even put the car on a lift which the dealership noted to me.

This site/business is bogus. Avoid. Contacted chat support prior to ordering inspection. Chat told me 1-2 business days and the inspection would be completed. I created my order online, I chose the $169 plan as it's just a 2000 Lexus LX 470. I added the Carfax for $29. Upon submission, at some point the cost became over $300. And the inspection would not be completed until at least 5 days later. Again, I spoke them on support just minutes prior to ordering and they said 1-2 days (ordered on a Wednesday afternoon), now it's at least Sunday. I put in the notes that seller was holding for me until Friday night, but ideally the next day (Thursday) the inspection could happen and the seller was expecting a call. The seller was never called to confirm availability on Sunday to show vehicle, Lemon Scam just did it on their own. When I called to ask about how it jumped and why so late, their response was terrible. They said that because the car is 20 years old then it becomes a "classic plan" - a classic?! Now it's over $300. Their reason for not getting there for so long was weak and provided no real reason why it changed after I spoke with support that said 1-2 days. Also, when you call the place after hours (when I noticed the price jump and date change), the automated voice talks all about how it's 1-2 standard. I then ask for a refund and to cancel. They tell me I can't get a refund as all "sales" are final -- Mind you, I didn't get the Carfax, they didn't provide any services (as they wouldn't even show up until 4-5 days from order), and they say that no refund. I called to speak to someone and was on hold for ever with terribly erratic voice prompt saying i'll be transferred to someone, it's all over the place - annoying - I never did get to anyone before I gave up. Now I come back to the chat within my account on the Lemon Scam website (which is the only way to "talk" to anyone apparently --- and the chat is shut down and not accepting any new chats. AVOID AT ALL COST. Now I've got to get Revdex.com involved, post all the reviews on all the sites, and have American Express step in -- bad business. I even have all of this chat I had with them saved -- terrible business.

Hi Jason
I'm sorry to hear that you are displeased with our service. Our average turn around is 1-2 business after the order is placed. That is just estimated as it can vary depending on the inspector's schedule, the seller's schedule, and the weather. You did also place the order after we closed on Aug 12th. We would not have been able to get this assigned to an inspector until the following morning. Normally you would have been looking at Friday or possibly Monday for the inspection.
The vehicle you ordered an inspection or does fall under our Classic Inspection as it is 20 years old, which comes out to $269. There was also a mileage fee for this location for an extra $10 due to the vehicle being just outside the Inspectors base area. You also order the CarFax add-on for an additional $29.99. This was displayed in the total when you placed the order before you entered your payment info, which came out to $308.99. This info was also displayed when you got your receipt as well.
It is stated in our Terms and Conditions, that you must read and agree to before you place an order, that we do not offer refunds. However, if the vehicle were to sell or become unavailable we would place your order on hold towards another inspection.
I am sorry that you were unable to get someone on the phone. Our phone lines can get very busy, we are taking calls in the order received and get to each one as soon as possible. You also may have started the chat after we closed for the night, which is why it would have displayed that the chat program was unavailable.
Again I am sorry to hear that you are displeased with our service and that you have begun the chargeback process, but we wish you luck on your search for a vehicle. -Lemon Squad Team

I selected, normal vehicle and Carfax for 169 and 29.99, I did not realize that you had automatically changed the price. You did not perform any service, you did not give me the car fax, you did not answer the phone, you did not give a reasonable explanation, you did not do what the person I chat with said you would. PERIOD. All “sales” are can not be final when you did absolutely no services at that point - NONE. Since placing this order with you, I already flew 1400 miles to buy it and drive it home 1451 miles home. All of this was done before you’re (Later than expected) inspection would have even taken place. I DO NOT need another inspection, the car is bought. Process the refund, that’s the only reasonable response. Process the refund. Buyers beware!!

Customer Response • Aug 17, 2020

Also, at 3:12pm Central time on Thursday (after you put my order on Hold instead of refunding), I tried to contact you via the chat box. I’m quite certain that’s in your business hours? The chat box said “This chat is closed.” And you didn’t answer the phone and you cannot email - terrible business practice. Issue the refund. Also, I have pictures of ALL of this!

Lemon Squad did a pre purchase inspection for me. Their report had several errors. The inspector stated that he hooked his computer up to the vehicle and there were no codes or issues. The problem with that is the vehicle is a 1967 and there is no way for him to have done this on a car of that year. He checked off that the horn was good and the heat. Neither are working. They tried to insinuate that something must have happened while it was being transported. They tried to say that those items were working at their inspection. This was not possible. Also, they stated that the brakes were fine. The parking break does not work at all. I was told that they don't normally inspect the parking break on a vehicle this old because it may stick and they may be unable to continue the inspection. The hood color was slightly different than the rest of the car, but they never mentioned that either. They never took responsibility for all their mistakes and had a reason why they were not wrong. A waste of my money. I relied on what their report said. I would have offered less than I did had I had the correct info. If I ever buy another vehicle out of state, Lemon squad will be the last company that I call.

Hello Cindy,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your 1967 Camaro. We did fix the typo in the report regarding the OBD2 scanner as soon as you brought it to our attention. That was an easy mistake and can be fixed very quickly. You are of course correct that vehicles of this age do not have OBD2 capacity and we apologize for the confusion on that end.
We have also checked with the inspector and he did not find any of those issues at the time of the Inspection. The battery worked just fine and did not need a jump. The vehicle also started and stopped as designed. The heater also was in working order, it heated up just fine when the inspector tested it. Regarding the parking break on some of older vehicles this can be very difficult to test as the brakes may not be in good working condition and may stick, not allowing us to preform the full inspection. We also did do a quick test of the horn and it did seem to be working as designed as well. We are sorry that you are having issues with your vehicle but please keep in mind that it is over 50 year old and issues can occur unexpectedly. We wish you well, and hope you get many miles out of your classic vehicle.

Customer Response • Jul 14, 2020

I am extremely unhappy with the Lemon Squads inspection and report. Mistakes should not be made. I am paying for an accurate report and didn’t get one. The heater and horn don’t work. The salesperson at Gateway, Mike, told me that, so when your report states that it did, that is a lie. Yes the vehicle is 50 years old. That’s why I hired your company to do a pre inspection, which was basically useless. Shame on you for trying to put this sloppy work on me.

I refer to “LemonSquad Car Inspection Report # 394986” from 03/13/2020 for a 1953 Cadillac Convertible VIN # 536213434.

On my order, one of the inspectors checked this 1953 Cadillac Convertible.

Based on this inspection report, thereafter I purchased the car from the professional car dealer company
in San Jose (CA) and shipped the Cadillac to Germany where I wanted to register it.

Unfortunately, the report corresponds in no way the actual technical condition of this Cadillac, and the
Inspector of Association for Technical Inspection declined the registration because the Cadillac is technically in an extremely dangerous condition and is not street-legal!

Everything is documented in more than 20 pictures.

Defects:
• The brake has on the front axle zero effect (out of operation).
• The main brake cylinder is defective and loses brake fluid.
• The screws on the front axle (track rod) are not attached/fixed (that is life-endangering!)
and could have resulted in a severe accident with personal injury on the next ride.
• Furthermore, the Cadillac shows big holes (completely perforated by rust!) in the
underbody and rocker panel.
• The electric is also in a very life-endangering condition.
• The battery “+”-cable is on the exhaust manifold and charred (shortly before a cable fire);
also, the “+”-power cables are unconcealed and could cause a fire.

It is impossible for me to understand that the LemonSquad inspector as well as “being in care of the best techs” (as stated from the car dealer) did not see these seriously technical defects as well as the rust and big holes on the underbody.

I emailed a complaint directly to LemonSquad (email address: [email protected]) on June 25, 2020 and never got a response.

I am very disappointed, will not accept this and await a written comment from LemonSquad soonest. The additional repair for road-worthiness cost me $7,000 extra and I want a refund for this!

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • Jul 09, 2020

I see that we did this inspection back in March, 2020. This is well past the 7 day window for a refund that is in the terms and conditions that you agreed to when you placed your order with us. Due to this, I am not able to offer you a refund. I see no notes in your order that you called with any questions or complaints on this inspection. This is a vehicle that is 67 years old and has had paint and body work done to it, as evidenced by the high paint meter readings in the report. It is very possible that some of the electrical items or other issues you are experiencing occurred during shipping to Germany. As with any older vehicle, issues will arise and you will need to be prepared to address them as they come up. You should contact the person you purchased the vehicle from to see if they are able to help.

Customer Response • Jul 12, 2020

I am rejecting this response because:
...the car inspector did a wrong inspection report. As proof, I have 15 pictures
more from the underbody pan made from the DMV Inspection in Germany. Also, the front brakes do not work, the electric wires are cut off and the
big battery "+"-wire (hot wire) has no insulation and touches the
body. Many big rust holes on the underbody are not to be overlooked as
well.A professional tech and an inspector should have seen/remark and documented
that in the inspection report! The car is definitely not street-legal and extremely dangerous regarding the
brakes!I want my money back for the inspection report, because this wrong report
costs me an additional total of repair of $7,000!If the inspector from LemonSquad had truly/honestly assessed and documented
as the car really is, I would not have purchased it. In my opinion, I see cooperation
between the car dealer and the inspector to get the deal. After I additionally
complained to LemonSqad, it’s curious that LemonSquad nearly used the same
phrase “The vehicle is 67 years old…” and that the blame for the defects should be the
shipping to Germany – that’s simply ridiculous! The odometer reads a maximum of
20 ML more, since I have purchased the car from you. It's correct that the inspection was made in March 2020. A 7 day window for
getting a refund due to a complaint is absolutely not realistic.Due to the COVID-19 situation and restrictions in California
and Europe, faster shipping was impossible to Germany regarding inspection and registration
by the German DMV.

For this reason, I feel cheated by LemonSquad. I my eyes, it's a serious discrimination of my nationality!

I had my brother order an inspection of a vehicle for me.There were a couple of small issues noted by the inspector but nothing that seemed to major until I bought the vehicle and it arrived at my location, thats when I inspected te vehicle and found there were many, many very apparant problems the tech either overlooked, didnt care about or took apayment from the dealer to get it off his lot.No way a certified tech would have passed this vehicle with the issues it has.I live in Mn and offered to bring the vehicle to lemonsquad so they could veiw it all for themselves. At the very least I want a refund and proof of the Certification they claim the tech has.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 14505262, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have since had contact with the owner. He provided me with the a copy of the ASE Certification I requested and a refund of payment for services.I will verify it was in fact the tech who inspected the truck and verify the Certification was in effect at the time of inspection. Yes as long as I actually get my refund and the certification checks out I consider this resolved. Thank you.

Lemonsquad.com was hired to inspect an out-of-state classic car for me. The inspection was done improperly with several items that were compete misrepresentations. The car was reported as “free of any undercarriage fluid leaks” but it was obviously checked with the car turned off. Upon delivery the car would not start, had a severe electrical recharging issue (that was never tested) and was leaking fluid profusely from several spots once the car was running. The generator has to be replaced (it is not putting out any current) and I am now out $28,000 and faced with several mechanical bills. They did not apologize or even offer to refund the measly $300 inspection fee. The inspector was either incompetent or took a $ tip (aka bribe) from the seller to prepare a favorable report.

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • Jul 01, 2020

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your 1960 Ford Thunderbird. We did reach out to the inspector and he informed us that a test drive was performed and the pictures to the underside were taken after that test drive. If there were any issues with the vehicle starting, those issues would've been in the report. With a vehicle that is 60 years old, it is best to be prepared for issues to arise without warning. We wish you many miles with this oldie.

Travis did an exceptional job for my inspection.Excellent photographs that showed the entire condition of the car. Saved me from a big mistake. Would absolutely use them again.
Thanks
Danny B

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • Jun 26, 2020

Hi Danny
Thank you so much for the 5 stars! Im so happy that we were able to take a look at those two Bentleys for you. I will be sure to let Travis know that you are happy with his work, and if you do happen to find another vehicle you are interested in please keep us in mind. We would love to work with you again!

Extremely unimpressed and disappointed from the get go especially for the money spent. The inspection was set up and performed. However the inspector knew less about RV's than me. He would not test drive based on some BS story about the proper people were not at dealership. Like he would need someone from the dealership to ride along. Yeah right. Anyway I was going to let that part go but then my add ons as they call them all the sudden disappeared. I paid for a carfax and a market value report. Extra hundred bucks. So I call this arrogant as in customer service and he says they erase all my data after 60 days. I said well no one told me this, can they pull it back up? So I told him about my inspection that was also incomplete and basically he told me to go pound rocks. I work with many people that ask about RV inspections and I will always tell anyone to avoid lemon squad. Inadequate, incompetent and unfair business practices.

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • Jun 15, 2020

Scott, you are notified that your report expires after 60 days by both our terms of service that you read and agreed to and a countdown timer in your account that shows you how long you have to see your report. There is a way from within your account for you to both print your report and save it as a PDF to your computer. For liability reasons, our inspectors do require a seller's representative for a test drive. When you told our customer service agent to "go *** yourself" when you didn't get a copy of your report after 60 days, we have deactivated your account and we recommend that you find another company to help you with your next RV inspection.

Customer Response • Jun 15, 2020

You are a liar and I will ensure that no other good person gets screwed over by you. I still have the voicemail saved stating your inspector did not test drive the rv. Also there was no countdown and your terms and services is like reading the 20 page disclaimer for credit cards. You are a disgrace to the industry and I will ensure everyone across the country knows what kind of scam you run. Had I known you were so pathetic I would have paid a premium from another service agency just to get what services I paid for. I nicely asked for what I paid for but you declined rudely. Yes I would say a million times to go *** yourself after the screwing you gave me without simply trying to help or repull the reports I paid for. Starting a facebook and url page to make people aware you are a fraud.

We owe a big thank you to our inspector and the Lemon Squad. He did an amazing job, answered every question we had about the vehicle plus pointed out some flaws we hadn't thought about. Sure we spent some money but he just saved us $20K! Great work!

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • Jun 01, 2020

Thank you Jenn! We look forward to helping you when you find the next one. :)

All sales final, even if a state is closed due to coronavirus. Also Lemon Squad doesn't know what states are open or closed when you place the order. No refunds

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • May 28, 2020

Hi Thorr. You are correct. It is up to you, the buyer, to work with your seller to find out if the dealership is open or not. There is no way that Lemon Squad would be able to obtain that information on every car dealership in the country. The dealership you chose, ***, doesn't open up again until June 5, 2020. We were happy to look at the vehicle on June 5 when they open up again but you didn't want to wait for that. Right now, your order is on hold. You have a credit with us that will never expire and it can be used towards another inspection anywhere in the US. When you find the next vehicle, or even this 2014 Audi S6 at ***, just let us know. We can get it over to the inspector right away and have the inspector get in touch with your seller to set up a time to look at it. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

I received my car after their inspection and they completely missed the fact that the lifters are bad. They aren't standing behind their work and if you go to Yelp you can see this is a common problem with them. They do not deserve an A+ rating and they should be investigated for their horrible work and customer service.

I have waited almost a year to write this review because with a car not everything is immediately obvious. Last August I asked Lemon Squad to inspect a car for me and they helped me avoid buying a complete nightmare of a car - also saved me a flight and hotel etc etc to pick it up. I asked them to inspect a second car and they gave me a solid and thorough review of the the car - highlighting everything that I needed to know. I have had a GREAT experience owning the car that they inspected for me. I would highly recommend them.

I sent the below email to Lemon Squads CEO:

Dear Andy ***, www.andy***.com

I think your practice of burying your cancelation policy in your terms and conditions is shady and totally disrespectful to your customer.

You have the opportunity to make the cancellation policy easily visible on the order page, but it's nowhere to be seen. Why play a game of gotcha if you are providing quality services?

A customer has to literally scroll through 1k words (about two pages) to see the policy. That lets me know that it's likely hidden on purpose.

That said, I think you should consider that not refunding payment when services are not performed (or even started) is tantamount to theft, you just figured out how to do it legally.

I'm requesting a full refund AND that you revise the order page to explicitly state your cancellation policy.

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • May 21, 2020

You were advised of the cancelation policy before you put your credit card info in. There is a button that you have to click that says that you have READ and AGREED to those things. You have been refunded in full. We wish you luck on your vehicle search.

Customer Response • May 26, 2020

I am rejecting this response because:

This business plays a game of gotcha with their customers. They should clearly spell out the refund policy on the order page, not hide it in their terms and conditions. I'm insisting they clearly spell out their refund policy. They have followed through with the refund, we do not need to communicate any longer.

Very professional to work with. The staff was also very responsive with regard to my pre and post inspection questions. The inspector did exactly what was expected, plus he was able to investigate specific issues with the car that I had identified prior to the inspection. He was able to inspect the vehicle within one business day of my order and the price was very good ($170 + $30 for travel as the dealership was outside of their complimentary travel area). I would definitely recommend this company for someone looking to remotely purchase a car.

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • May 14, 2020

Thank you Jim! We are so happy to hear that you are pleased with our service. We look forward to working with you again in the future. :)

This has been one of the most amazing car buying experiences ever. So much worry off my mind with this service available to inspect a used car before purchase.
I knew what kind of car I was looking for, and their reports really helped with the decision making process. The first inspection I did was for a car that I thought was my ideal in model and color. I am so glad we used Lemon Squad. They found damage that was not disclosed and saved me a trip to Orange County from LA during the pandemic. After realizing the money and time this service could save me, I ordered more as I found cars I was interested in. One car I loved, that looked great inside and out in their provided pics, was discovered to be rusted at the seams underneath. 5 car inspections in all, from throughout Southern California and to Reno, I finally found my car. In regards to the car I purchased, we knew it would go fast, and LemonSquad was able to inspect my car quickly and thoroughly, the next day after I purchased the inspection. The afternoon after my report arrived in my inbox, I bought the car. I feel totally confident in my purchase.

I cannot thank the LemonSquad team enough and I highly recommend their service to anyone looking to buy a car. Your inspectors are wonderfully accurate and thorough. We called the main office in Minnesota several times, speaking with Stephanie, Dylan, and everyone that works there. They were all very kind and helpful. If you are wondering if you can trust them, be assured that you can, and you will definitely get your money worth with their service.

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • May 04, 2020

Thank you Melissa and Geoff! I am happy that we were able to help you out. :)

Fantastic. Buying a car from across the country is nervewracking. Having Lemon Squad go out and take a look at the car made it like I was there. The inspector was even a day early! So many pictures and the inspector's eye for fine detailed revealed flaws that the dealer never disclosed. I am very happy with the report and the 50 pictures that accompanied it. Thanks again Lemon Squad!

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • May 04, 2020

Thank you for your business Shane! We enjoyed working with you. :)

I was skeptical at first to pay for a car inspection but, being a thousand miles away from the classic car I wanted I decided to use Lemon Squad. The inspector did a outstanding job. I asked about specific items on the car and he found several problems that would have cost me thousands to repair. The inspector and editor rushed the report for me so that I could make a transport truck if needed. I did not purchase the car, thanks to the professional job done. I highly recommend this company. Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • Apr 30, 2020

Thank you David! We appreciate your business. :)

I was greeted professionally on my original phone call. The set up was quick and easy. The car I was interested in purchasing looked amazing on the eBay ad. When I received my report, I was so happy to find out the car was a "Bondo Queen". It would have been a very expensive mistake and a huge disappointment. Using Lemon Squad was a great experience.

Lemon Squad Auto Inspections Response • Mar 30, 2020

Thank you so much Arty! We enjoyed working with you and look forward to doing business with you again in the future! :)

I ordered an inspection and received a call the next day from customer service that the sellers (an auction) would not let the inspector schedule an inspection. I contacted the sellers who said the inspector is welcome to perform an inspection and could not find anyone who told the inspector they could not schedule. I don't know who is telling the truth here, but either way I just canceled it. I paid $191 which lemon squad will not refund. They may have a credit only policy (I question it's legality in all states) but given the current economic crisis I have no assurance their business has sufficient capitol or reserves to survive the downturn.(legitimate concern right now)They go under, that money is gone. If I had been refunded I would continue to use their services as needed in the future but now I can not. I called and spoke to a manager she identified as 'Denise' -first name only. She refused to authorize a refund, continuously talked to other people in the room (or wherever she was) around her instead of paying attention to anything I said. I did not raise my voice or use any profanity but she was rude, and has no interest in client retention, she then spent time talking about how her father taught her to read (so confused by that part), I asked multiple time who her supervisor was and she just kept saying she is a manager, over and over and over again. Finally she said she reported directly to the owner of lemon squad who's name is 'Andy' first name only and then hung up on me. I would like to continue using lemons squad service but again I cannot under these circumstances unless they do the right thing here given all the variables.

This customer has placed 3 orders with us in total. He has 2 completed reports and one order that is on hold, a credit for him to use that will never expire, and it can be used towards another inspection anywhere in the US. When the customer places an order with us, he has to click that he has READ and AGREES to our terms and conditions. Item number 7 states that ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If the vehicle sells, the customer changes his mind, or the seller doesn't allow us on the lot, his order is put into that hold status. The customers also have to agree to these terms and conditions when they log into their account for the first time, AND before reading each completed report. This customer has clicked that he read and agreed to our terms and conditions no less than 6 times throughout his time using our service. These terms are on the bottom of each page AND our cancelation policy is also in our FAQs. We would have gotten this last inspection done for the customer but he failed to secure clearance for the inspector to go onto the lot from the seller, Copart. It is up to the customer to secure admittance for our inspector to go onto auction lots. This is also on our FAQs. When the customer called and yelled at us, he admitted that he hadn't read the terms and conditions and asked our employee Denise (no last name necessary) if she always reads the terms and conditions when she uses a company, of course, she does. We put the information right in front of him in many places. We can't help it if he doesn't read it.

Customer Response • Mar 19, 2020

I am rejecting this response because: My concerns were not addressed and clear unethical business practices. I did. not yell one time during our phone conversation, I resent the accusation. The seller (copart) could not find anyone who spoke to the inspector or told them they cold not inspect the vehicle. I stated as much in my compliant. Copart welcomes and encourages 3rd party inspections and lemon squad had recently completed an inspection for me on a different vehicle at Copart. Given that lemon squad has just lied about me, I now have to assume they have lied about even attempting to set the appointment. Sadly I see this wont be resolved here as they clearly have no interest to customer retention or repeat business. The simple fact none of the unprofessionalism demonstrated by their customer service associate is even being acknowledged is telling. A simple apology would have gone alone way. I will not do business with them again given how this has been handled since now I cannot trust them to be honest or ethical. But they intend to keep my money with no good or services rendered. I honestly don't get how an individual can justify that we should keep customers money even though we provided no services of any kind and that customer does not want to do business with us, oh and if the customer calls just hang up on them. Seriously, why would I ever do business again with a company that treats people this way? Common sense, refund and we both go our separate ways.
