I am very satisfied with this company and grateful to have them.

I contacted Jupiter Support for help getting access to an old gmail account set up over a year ago and not used. Instead of solving that problem, the representative started showing me a bunch of supposedly corrupted, virus-infected files. He then took control over my computer and "supposedly" fixed the issues, to the tune of $279.95. Being the it I am, I fell for his scam. He did end up getting me access to a new gmail account to replace the old one.

I had Norton virus protection already, so I contacted them for a refund of my account charges. Alas, the Norton rep helped me realize Jupiter Support had scammed me. There were no viruses; the "corrupted, virus-infected" files the JS rep showed me were common files generated by my system in operational mode, and so there was no virus infection.

I think Jupiter Support used deceptive tactics to convince me that my computer was infected with viruses. The rep made derogatory comments about Norton protection and claimed he would get a Microsoft engineer to help him clear them up. My Norton rep says that Microsoft will help clear viruses for free, so the scammer made it sound like he was really helping me out, while he was helping himself to my wallet.

I consider this to be an illegitimate business out to bilk unsuspecting customers out of exorbitant fees.

This service was very efficient and greatly appreciated. The technicians were friendly and helpful and I thank you all!
