For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.They did nothing, they did not cooperate or work with us at all, they did not help us to resolve anything. We ended up having to accept their demands of complete payment and then had the nerve to bill us again for more " said interest " after we had paid up everything up in full for the second time. They are unethical and should not be allowed to continue billing people for interest after full payments have been made.

A Chase representative called me and told me that she had
looked into my account and that she had verified that I had indeed agreed to
the $149 annual fee and was unwilling to change my annual fee to $95/year. She
acknowledged that the annual rate on their website changes depending on when
you visit it—meaning that you could refresh it and get a different rate. I told
her that that was dishonest and confusing because I had visited their page,
seen the $95 rate and must have refreshed and gotten the $149 rate when I
actually signed up. It’s a barely legal bait and switch tactic by this company.
May others learn from my mistake and not be swindled by this company. A more
appropriate response would have been apologizing for the confusion and changing
my rate to $95 a year knowing that it’s better than losing a customer and her
money entirely. My husband and I had been considering banking with Chase Bank.
We will definitely be looking for a more transparent and honest company to
handle our money. We are good customers with good credit. They may have won the
battle, but they will lose the war. We will no longer be customers and we will
share our experience with others that are considering Chase Bank. We appreciate
the Revdex.com for helping us address this issue with Chase Bank as there is no formal
place to complain on their website.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is as satisfactory to me as it will ever get. Evidently, it was too late as soon as they moved me to the BP brand without my permission in 2007 which explains why every time I called and asked to get my normal card back, all I got was another Chase BP card. No one bothered to tell me this until I complained formally here and there are not records as to why the card was switched in the first place according to the manager who called me.
