[redacted]response has been scanned in and converted to text below (original document is available using the online complaint system).
We acknowledge receipt of your correspondence sent on behalf of Ms. [redacted] concerning the account referenced...

above.
Jefferson Capital Systems, LLC, purchased the [redacted] account and balance of $973.40 in August 2015. Enclosed please find a copy of the final billing statement reflecting the balance. In order to resolve Ms. [redacted]' dispute, this confirms we have notified the credit bureaus to delete our trade line from her credit bureau file and have closed our file and
terminated collection efforts.
Thank you for the opportunity to be of service.

I am rejecting this response because: I want a representative from Jefferson Capital LLC to contact me and explain to me why there was never an attempt to reach out to me to discuss this collection item prior to reporting it to the major credit bureaus.  I understand that Ms. [redacted]'s response to the Revdex.com states that they are confident that the correspondence they sent me will resolve this case in a satisfactory matter (which it should because I sent an abundance of information to prove that this was identity fraud), but that still does not negate the fact that Jefferson Capital had my correct cell phone number as well as my correct physical address and not one attempt was made, since they obtained the account on October 1, 2017, to reach out to me.  Instead they arbitrarily report to the major credit bureaus and demolished my impeccable credit.  That could have been avoided had they made one phone call or sent one letter.  And it could not have come at a worse time considering that my wife and I were beginning the process of purchasing a new home, but now have to put that on hold until this negative item is removed from my credit report (since my score went from 810 down to 672.  We have already missed out on the home we intended to purchase as it sold to another buyer.  You cannot tell me that how they handled my case was done in a legal manner based on collection policies and practices.

how was this acct purchased in 2011, it was a charged off acct as of 10/17/2002? Isn't the statue of limitations 7 years? I believe your company is dishonest and was phishing for any [redacted] who would fall for paying this phoney bill.
I wonder how many complaints the Revdex.com has against your company? That information wasn't given in the letter.

I am rejecting this response because:The provided response is the first time I have been informed of any other alleged debts purchased by Jefferson Capitol Systems, LLC.  I again want to request that if any other lawsuits or courts cases have been filed against me in regards to either of these alleged debts, that they be dropped immediately!Jefferson Capitol Systems, LLC has also neglected to provide any original proof of purchase documentation for these alleged debts.  As there are numerous recent Revdex.com and online complaints against this company and their practices, I request this documentation be provided to further guard against possible fraud.

I do not accept this response as they are reporting in accurate information once again. The account was charged off in 2011 and was purchased by Jefferson Capital in 2012. I just called again and spoke with the customer agent from First Premiere.
Your company was in control of this and failed to notify me of anything and in doing so damaging my credit. Why would a company charge an account off and then 4 years later transfer this debt. It's a straight up lie. Your company has been in control of this since 2012 according to First Premiere as I called them on the 10th and 11th to confirm and then filed my claim.
The fact you are suggesting your purchased this 1 day before the complaint was filed again is a lie.
I want this fixed and removed from my credit report immediately.
