I did receive help with this issue. Ibotta did reinstate my account and gave me the credit for the products that were in quesstion. It was difficult for a couple of weeks to log in, I had to contact them a few times in order to get all the roadblocks in the app removed after the deactivation. so as of now I have been able to continue using the app for rebates.

being validated by [redacted]. Unfortunately, Ibotta cannot control when we will hear back from our Affiliate and [redacted] regarding the user's purchase. Therefore, we will hold onto the user's inquiry until we receive the requested information from the third parties. With the holiday season, we expect that the parties may be backlogged and apologize for the inconvenience. At this time, we are unable to credit the user but will inform the user of the result, once we hear back. In regards to the [redacted] bonus, the user's account was credited on 12/7/17. In regards to the [redacted].com offer and bonus, [redacted].com offers have a 60 day pending period. A pending period is set by the retailer ([redacted].com) and is usually a purchase completion period to ensure that products are not refunded or exchanged but still received offer credit. The user's purchase was made 11/15/17 and will remain pending until approximately 12/15/17. Mobile shopping bonuses, such as the one provided for the [redacted].com purchase, are not released until the offer is completed (after the pending period). Therefore, the user will receive any eligible bonuses on or immediately after 12/15/17. Pending periods, bonuses based on pending periods, and additional mobile shopping information, can be found in the offer details and in the public help center. I am rejecting this response because: I blocked my personal information on my receipts. I do not want my credit card info exposed for everyone to see and I have been doing that since day one. I have the right to protect my credit card information with all the stolen identity problems that occur. If Ibotta had said this on day one to me I would have only submitted cash receipts. I use my debit card for most purchases and if stolen I would have lost actual cash from my account.

Yet, more lies continue to flow from this company of scammers. I have NONE of those email addresses and Ibotta only lets you have one device per account, that proves that’s a lie. Once again, they just cannot stand to hive me the money they OWE me. The ONLY account I was using was true one linked to my [redacted] and you could clearly see that. So, please continue to make up lies. Every person that created an account were real and DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I had one account and that’s all I used. Every referral credit I got, was from really people. As a one-time courtesy, we reactivated the user's account with the knowledge that future infractions against Ibotta's referral program can be reviewed and/or deactivated. After the user was educated and reactivated, 11 new referrals signed up using the user's unique referral code. While we appreciate the new user's to Ibotta, many of the accounts are committing fraudulent activity on their first purchase. For example, three of the accounts submitted the same receipt that was first submitted by the referring user (the user that has written this complaint). Also, some of the new accounts are sharing the same device, same user information, same payment information, and other likeness that leads our team to believe that these accounts are not in fact, new users, but repeat users or fraudulent accounts created with the sole intention of earning referral credit. Per Ibotta's terms of use, Section 10.3 users may not upload receipts to Ibotta that have already been uploaded by you or another user (regardless of the rebates being redeemed by each user). Per Ibotta's Terms of Use, Section 10.11, users may not exploit or attempt to exploit Ibotta’s referral bonus program in an effort to earn illegitimate referral bonuses or credit(s). This includes the following: inviting oneself on an additional account or inviting others who share the same mobile device. Users shall not be eligible to earn referral bonuses if they invite other users who share the same mobile device, create multiple accounts, or attempt to exploit our referral program in any way. I am rejecting this response because: this simply does not resolove my complaint,  my issue has not been resolved because my account has not been reactivated.  My account has been deactivated because of no wrong doing. I have been accused of shopping at the same store in one day...WOW.....and not to mention they were saying it easnt me...they did let me have money that I did earn, that alone should say they were wrong, but my account still stand as being deactivated.  This is sad that my  issue can't be resolved and I stand accused of nothing. They continue to give vague responses and feed crap on here and to there emails. I woulNEVER recommend them in ANYONE

I Did not refer myself. I referred friends and family most of whole did it just to help me out but some of them were starting to enjoy it. They didn't know how to use it so I signed in to several accounts on my phone and would tell them the different deals or rebates for stuff they already buy. As you know the rebates are different on different accounts so I would see who could use different rebates. I wasn' Cheating.. I was just trying to help people learn how to use it and I dodnt kmow you werent allowed to sign on to other accouhnts on the same phone. Is there anyway to reactivate it and just keep me in a probationary period and track it or something? And just check uo on it regularly? I wont sign into them again since I see now that you cant do that but I didnt do wrong on purpose and I wpuld really like abother chance to use ibotta as would my family.  Complaint: [redacted]
