As stated in this complaint our Customer Solutions department had previous contact with this consumer regarding their concerns. At that time our representative provided the consumer with third party resources to assist with pursuing the contractor in question directly as that contractor is now over... a year removed from being advertised by our service. Furthermore, we do not have any record of this consumer being matched through our service to the contractor in question, nor does our service make any guarantees regarding work quality or warranties.While we are always sorry to hear that a homeowner has experienced difficulty with a project, in this case we must stand by our customer solutions representative's recommendation that the consumer pursue and address this matter with the contractor directly.

Both prior to and since receiving this complaint our customer service department has been in touch with this customer and attempted to resolve their concerns. Our records document that there was extensive account activity on the part of the customer, that detailed explanations of the nature of... our service and billing structure was provided to the customer by multiple tenured members of our team, that a significant amount of credit was applied to the customer's account over the life of their membership, and that the account in question has since been cancelled in full with no further balance owed. Given these circumstances we do not find the demand for a refund to be warranted or supported and at this time we are considering the matter closed.

Prior to receiving this complaint, our Customer Service department was able to work with this customer regarding their outstanding balance and removing their account information from collectionsWe were able to reach a settlement with the customer regarding that balance, and at this time their account has been cancelled in full per their request

Although we have not been in direct contact with this customer, we would like to use this opportunity to inform them that their requested resolution has been provided.We would like to apologize for the frustration that resulted from these circumstances, and can at this time assure the customer that there is no further balance owed, there will not be any future charges, and that there will be no negative reporting made against their creditWe would also like to thank this customer for their time with our service and wish them and their company all the best moving forward

I am rejecting this response because: This company knows every trick in the book to ruin individuals credit and also call with ridiculous excuses why they want to steal from consumersThe representative that called me said that this would be taken care of but I get a call every day saying that I owe a ridiculous balance that is not owedPLEASE BEWARE THAT THIS COMPANY "HOME ADVISOR" IS A COMPLETE SCAM! I do believe that all parties that have had issues with this company get together to file a Class Action Law suitUntil this matter is resolved with Home Advisor I would suggest that the Revdex.com give a correct assessment of this company to be well under satisfactoryA Rating of "F" if the scale was A-F with F being the worst! I have made numerous calls to this company about the problem but all of the individuals that work in their network are totally not helpful and could care less about the consumer

In speaking with this customer and reviewing our records, we found that there had been some confusion surrounding the customer's cancellation of their account and several leads that were sent in that same time frameIn order to address this, we were able to amend the balance associated with the
account and have since parted ways with the customer on amicable terms

Although we have not been in contact with this customer, we do have information to provide.While we do have affiliate sites that may redirect service requests they receive provided that they meet our standards of required information from the homeowner, we do not now nor have we ever "data mined"
via unaffiliated third party sitesWe have applied the requested credit to this customer's account, apologize for any frustration, and sincerely hope that this information is useful for both the customer and the Revdex.com

Prior to receiving this complaint, the manager named in the customer's description was able to address their concerns and a refund was providedWe found that the customer had in fact made a reasonable effort to cancel their account and discontinue receiving leads from our company, and since
providing the refund that account has been cancelled in full

We were able to reach this customer and have addressed their concernsWe found that there were in fact several instances of duplicate leads that our process was not previously able to verify, and therefor we have adjusted the customer's account to reflect those errorsWe were able to reach a
settlement with the customer regarding those instances, and at this time we have parted ways on amicable terms

Although our attempts to reach this customer to discuss their complaint were not successful, we do have information to provide. Prior to receiving this complaint, our customer care department had attempted to resolve this customer's concerns as there seems to have been some discrepancy between
our service's license requirements and the tasks for which the customer wanted to receive leadsUpon further review of their account we have since removed the balance in question as requested and cancelled the account in fullThere is at this time no further balance owed, their will be no future charges, and we are considering this matter as closed

During what we had believed
to have been an amicable and productive conversation as described in our original response, a settlement was agreed to in which the customer received substantial credit to their account and stated their desire to remain an active member in our networkWe would not have moved forward with that settlement/agreement had the customer made any indication that they were not satisfied with that arrangement, and in fact the customer expressly stated that this complaint would be closed as a result of the resolution that was offeredIn light of their response, we would to state that this customer received the direct contact information for the party handling this complaint in an email that confirmed the settlement was agreed to by both parties, and should they have any further questions or concerns that they are welcome to contact that party directlyOtherwise, as had been previously agreed to, we are at this time considering this matter closed

Prior to receiving this complaint we had already begun the process of ensuring
that this customer's concerns regarding our policies surrounding the lead generation aspect of our service had been fully explained and addressedOur customer service department was able to reach an agreement with the customer to amend the balance associated with their account, adjust their account settings to better serve their business' needs, and have temporarily paused the generation of leads to their accountAt this time the customer remains an active and valued member of our network

We have been in touch with this customer and were able to hold a productive conversation regarding their concernsIn that conversation an amicable resolution was reached, a refund provided, and at this time their account has been cancelled in full per their request

As requested in this customer's rejection of our response, we have reached out to the customer via emailWe will remain optimistic that an amicable resolution will be reach and will update our response as communications with the customer progress

We have not yet been able to reach a resolution with this customer, and in recent follow ups have been unable to fully discuss their concernsWe remain optimistic that we will be able to resolve this complaint on amicable terms

We have made multiple attempts to contact this customer but have not yet been successful in that pursuitWe are still optimistic that we will be able to reach this customer and bring their concerns to an amicable resolution

Upon reaching this customer we were informed that prior to our office receiving this complaint, our customer service department was able to properly address their concernsChanges were made to the customer's account to better suit their business needs, and at this time they remain a valued member
of our network

We have made multiple attempts to discuss this customer's concerns with them but have not yet been successfulWe do still hope to hear from the customer in order to bring this complaint to an amicable resolution

Prior to receiving this complaint our customer service department was able to address and resolve this customer's concernsA settlement was reached with the management of the aforementioned department and the customer's account has been closed
