I am rejecting this response because the check mentioned in the response from H&R Block was not received Their response stated that I would receive a check for $by March I did receive a tracking number from UPS and it appears that a label was created but the check never sent Once I receive the check from them, I will consider the issue resolved.I also wanted to make a point of clarification as a follow up to the email from H&R Block I did reach out to *** on March to discuss further with her I informed her that I was not phoned or emailed as they had previously indicated She apologized for this miscommunication on her part After speaking with her, she had *** from the online team call me He stated that I would not get a refund because of the issues as stated in the response email However, I reminded *** that their help desk told me that they could see the issue but could not fix it In addition, the help desk told me to take the printed copies to the local H&R Block office to be corrected since they couldn't do so over the phone Taking the items to the local office as directed was the reason for the charge After hearing this, he reached out to his supervisor for approval and the supervisor approved my refund

office Although H&R Block offers clients to file in a tax office or through our online/software, these services are unrelated. As client service gesture, Ms*** will receive free tax software for next year’s return. Dear Revdex.com,In response to this complaint, our review has shown that there were errors made on the schedule A and the schedule E on Ms***'s return prepared by H&R BlockThis error was discovered by a CPA (not employed with H&R Block) while preparing her return
Ms*** had her CPA correct the return and prepare an amended return for tax year that resulted in a refund of $2398.While we regret any confusions or misunderstandings of our tax preparation services that Ms*** may have, our review of this matter reflects that her situation was handled in accordance with standard H&R Block processesI have reached out to the District General Manager of the office where the return was originally filed to discuss this matterShe states that Ms*** had a CPA correct the return for her, instead of allowing H&R Block to correct the returnUnder the H&R Block Guarantee, we will cover any penalties and interest that result from errors we cause on a tax return and in addition to that we will correct the return at no cost to the client. Although H&R Block is not at liberty to refund Ms***'s tax preparation fees in full, as a gesture of good faith the tax office offered to refund Ms*** a portion of her fees, $Ms*** refused this offer. As a result, we consider this matter resolvedWe assure you that we take the concerns of our clients seriously and make every effort to resolve matters thoroughly and fairly. complaint, I am retired and most of my statements are 1099R’s not W2’s
The office manager *** ** ***
did not offer me an appointment to resolve this matter, instead she yelled at
me that I had to do this myself that it was not their job and then proceeded to
hang up on me
Since I had to resolve this
matter with the State myself, I believe this matter is NOT RESOLVED with
H&R Block because they did not
follow the *** State Income Tax Filing Guide Booklet #
I also feel that I am due a
refund of $due to the errors on their part and the behavior of the
office manager *** ** ***
