Although I appreciate the offer to waive the deductible, this offer is weeks AFTER our initial request to replace our defective phone and I had no other choice but to purchase a new phone weeks ago at my expense so my wife would have a workable phone.
Had this offer been made when we initially filed our claim, or even within a week after, we would have gratefully accepted it I guess the point of this whole exercise was to highlight the lack of customer service that I believe I paid for, but didn't receive when I bought your insurance Does your company really expect my wife to go without a usable phone for a month until you guys got around to assisting us? I was promised by your representatives at least different times that a "***" from your company would call me to resolve this issue, yet I never receive one return phone callThere really is NO excuse for your company not returning phone calls your representatives promised to make to us to resolve this issue BEFORE our Revdex.com complaint
You must admit that from my perspective, the customer perspective, that I paid $for insurance and I received no benefit from this purchase when I needed itYou're company slow-rolled me until I was forced to act without your assistance, and now a month later I'm offered a reasonable solutionIn the future, your company might treat other customers with a little more respect and urgency by returning phone calls in a timely manner (or at all) and assisting them as contractually expectedFuture customers might also wonder if they'll be treated as we were treated and decide to purchase elsewhereIn any case, when all is said and done, I wasted $on insurance that did not replace my phone when I needed it

In previous responses GWG mentioned that the chq # *** is for the claim filed in Mar but anyhow they have switched their statements now that this chq is for claim back in dec To confirm this previous discussion can be looked at.
However about the police reports I have provided GWG with police file #'s both timesPolice department does not provide individuals with HARD COPY of the complaintThey provide us with file #'s only and advise that the warranty company can call them anytime required to get more info about that complaintNO HARD COPY IS PROVIDED TO THE COMPAINTANT
GWG is fully aware of this and I have provided them file numbers in both claims at the time of filing the claim with Police officer's name and phone # as wellIt is GWG'S responsiblity to futher inquire about it from the policeNOT OURS'When I mentioned this to the rep in the first call when filing my claim he/she completely agreed to it and said the info was good enough from my sideThey will proceed further with the claim and that is why my chq was approved as well for $NOW GWG all of a sudden is asking for a hard copy which I DONT OBVIOUSLY HAVEThis does not make sense when the claim has been approved for all this time and chq is held back
