Earlier today I submitted a complaint (Claim #***) with the Revdex.com regarding an online purchase with GameStop Inc, and it has just been resolvedGameStop sent me a code as requested in my "Desired Settlement" section of the original complaint.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.My order was placed on December 3rd I didn't receive the entire 16% discount - only 9% My original request to them on December 3rd was for the remaining discount I didn't receive After several attempts to reach them, I finally got a response on December 9th, that I would received a refund of $ I was asked to reply as to how I wanted the payment (original payment method, gift card) I replied to applied to the original payment method and got no response from them I follow several times and finally got a response that I need to call for "security reasons" which I did and was put on hold for minutes before the phone got disconnected I tried again with the email and got no response I finally got another response on December 16th (the day after I put in the complaint) They said they were giving me a coupon for my inconvenience, but still nothing about the refund I replied back that I didn't want the coupon, only the refund I was promised on December 9th I got no response Just to Note, I read through several of the complaints on the Revdex.com site and some say the coupons don't work Plus, it was for online only which I would then I have to pay shipping I just want what I was promised on December 9th or at the very least the remaining discount that I didn't receive I won't be doing business with this company again They don't care about their customers It's apparent in the number of Revdex.com complaints filed just this month Any other company would have resolved this on December 3rd especially since $is such a little value to them

Good morning, ***Defective trades do not disqualify a promotion from being appliedThe statement "Trades must be in full working condition to receive full valueDefective items may be eligible for trade at a lesser value." in the terms and conditions is only stating that if the product you are trading in is defective, a refurbishment fee will be applied which will decrease the value of the product you are trading in, but it does not negate the promotion from being applied. For this promotion, it's 20% being applied overall for all guests, however if you're a PowerUp Rewards Pro member, you get the additional 10% on your trades allowing a total 30% to be applied, not 40%If it were for 40%, the promotion would instead state "Get up to 40%". I still would be more than happy to issue you the gift certificate I offered in my last response for our error in failing to inform and potentially correct the issue in store, however I am unable to provide a corporate check because this is not an expense owed.If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.Best Regards,*** *** *.|Revdex.com Liaison| GameStop | Service Matters

Too lateI already accepted the package and returned it to a gamestop storeBut I will never shop at your company againIt's the principle of the matter, that my debit card was held hostage DAYS BEFORE THE GAME CAME OUTBefore it even shippedAnd I was unable to cancel, even after calling customer support.I have cancelled orders at Amazon.com HOURS BEFORE IT SHIPPED with zero issuesYour company needs to step it's game upThis is below par, and there's literally no reason to use you over amazon when you treat your customers like walking atms

I am rejecting this response because:Gamestop's response does not address my complaint...I am STILL waiting for my entire order I paid for to be delivered I received items today (11/3/16) The Move controllers have still not shipped.Your site still lists these products as "Available Now" I noticed that even when it changes to "hours" the message states the product is available at one of your distribution centers for IMMEDIATE shipping after hour processing ("usually sooner") My order was placed Friday, 10/28/- well past the hour processing and shipping

I am rejecting this response because:It still doesn't explain when the sale started online or how many systems were available to purchase onlineHow many were available over all to online consumers? How many per state? How many were sold online under this specific sale that was advertised? And again when did this online sale officially start Thursday? ( Because I still have the ad that states sales start Thursday) how could inventory for the sale be gone before the advertised starting date?Again I started checking at 12am Thursday (the day the sale was advertised to start) I checked EVERY hour the whole dayI understand limited inventory However limited shouldn't be unfair and unequal opportunity when a sale like this is advertised through multiple states at a time.How is it possible to check every hour through the whole day and not have the opportunity buy once? Again what time did the sale start online Thursday? And how long after that did inventory run out? Was there actually a fair and equal opportunity for people in multiple states to access this advertised sale?Limited inventory is one thingUnfair/unethical sales is another. I'm still waiting for my questions to be answeredWhich are the same questions I've been asking GameStop through email since November 2017.GameStop constantly replying "limited inventory" is not answering any of my other questions and its extremely frustrating.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.The redemption codes for Dawn of Discovery: Gold and The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings Enhanced Edition do not redeem under Steam, Uplay, or Origin as I have tried the codes for all three services and I receive an error saying it is an improper codeI double-checked to make sure they were typed in properly and even copy and pasted the codes and they still do not workI followed the exact instructions that were on the Gamestop website for code redemption so I don't know where else they could possibly be redeemed since the Gamestop Impulse App is no longer supported
